She explained every step of the process in detail, making sure I understood how to maintain the best dental hygiene going forward. Her caring approach made the whole experience so comfortable. I usually get quite anxious with dental visits, but this was such a stress-free experience. For someone who has been an anxious patient the time was taken to ensure that I was as comfortable as possible and my questions and concerns answered without judgement. The follow-up plan ensures that I can continue to improve my dental health techniques between visits. She is highly proficient in her skills, an excellent communicator and conscientious in her research of her clients' dental history. Added to this is her kindness and her ability to instill calmness along with pooch, Col, for dental treatment. I am so happy to have my gums treated with the time and help they need in spite of my 30 year plus history of periodontal disease.

Fantastic experience: Definitely worth the time! We were a bit unsure about taking our one year old to the dentist but we're so glad we did! Rachelle did an amazing job of checking our son over, she was very thorough with him and provided a heap of information for us. She took so much time making sure he was comfortable and familiar with all the instruments she would use before even trying to touch him and didn't pressure him or us into anything. We would definitely recommend coastal glo! We even travelled up from Hobart as we heard such good things about her and would do it again!

Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to the dentist in several when I visited Rachelle on the 3/9/25. I discovered she was diligent conscientious and gentle. She was considerate of my chronic health conditions and medications and comfort, offering me a pillow and rest when I needed it. She even noted my favourite music genre and had it for my relaxation. She was very professional with an easy going friendly manner. Her assistant ( Col ) deserves a special mention . I have no hesitation in fully recommending this gem of a woman in Ulverstone. We are lucky to have this calibre of a women in Ulverstone. She will do her very best for you. She cares. I thank her from the bottom of my heart for her sincere care. ♥️.

Fantastic experience: Rachelle was recommended to me by my functional medicine practitioner (FMP). I wanted to get to the bottom of some ongoing mouth issues. I had an oral microbiome test done with my FMP which showed some imbalances. I was surprised because I've always looked after my teeth. I was greeted by Rachelle who was friendly and welcoming and her beautiful assistance doggy. I have a vast history of orthodontic work and some trauma from childhood dental visits. Rachelle was very understanding of this and explained everything before and as she went along throughout the entire consultation. I didn't feel anxious at all. Rachelle was so knowledgeable and she showed me the micro-organisms on the big screen and explained them. My consultation included lots of discussion which was wonderfully informative but not overwhelming. Rachelle cleaned my teeth and helped me address what I'm missing in my cleaning routine to bring my gums back to optimum health. I was blown away by the mouth:system relationship and what happens with our oral health can have a massive flow on effect through our system. Since my visit Rachelle has checked in on me and even given me more information. She's also sent a letter back to my FMP and my GP. Rachelle is really passionate and knows her stuff. She is so genuine, You can tell she really wants to make a difference to her patient. I'm looking forward to working with Rachelle into the future to maintain great oral health and in turn, great overall health. 10/10 absolutely reccomend Rachelle and CoastalGlo

Fantastic experience: I’m absolutely scared of getting my teeth cleaned. But I decided to drive from Launceston to Ulverstone for my first oral hygiene appointment with Rachelle at Coastal Glo. Why? Two reasons: Col the therapy dog, and Rachelle who treated my son and did such a wonderful job in his care, i intuitively knew she was someone who could help me too. Rachelle was so calming, gentle, holistic in her approach, and actually took the time to understand me. No rushing, just really thoughtful, personalised care and lots of explaining at each step of the appointment. Col sat on my lap keeping me relaxed the whole appointment. I’m also keen to see how my oral health correlates to improving peak performance in my training which is something Rachelle knows a lot about. Cue the bacterial analysis and microbiological screening (wild stuff, honestly). After some testing and teeth cleaning, my appointment was wrapped up with a tailored oral care plan that I understood, lots of trust and the most positive experience I’ve ever had when it comes to sitting in the chair! And of course a goodbye cuddle with Col. Worth the trip to the coast. I have 4 more appointments already booked in to coincide with my long term oral health plan. I’m now confident I’ll do each appointment without the overwhelming fear and anxiety that was my previous experiences elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Prior to being referred to Coastal Glo a month or so ago, I was absolutely terrified at the thought of even booking an appointment for the dentist, let alone actually attending one. Rachelle's laid back personality and caring nature makes a normally overwhelming experience so much more pleasant. From the moment I spoke with Rachelle on the phone to book my first appointment it was clear how passionate she is about her clients and her profession! Her knowledge, equipment, communication, and before and after care is second to none. Col, her little therapy puppa is equally as good at his role, aswell, and certainly an added bonus! I cannot rate Rachelle highly enough, and am excited to book my children in to see her next.

She was also easy to contact when my work schedule changed and I needed to reschedule. The clinic environment was clean, and each step of the process was clearly explained. As a long-distance runner, I brought in the running gels I regularly use to check their impact on my dental health. Rachelle took the time to look into them, explain the potential risks, and suggest lower-risk alternatives. I felt well cared for and informed. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I have always struggled with my anxiety at the dentist due to past experiences and never having the greatest teeth, but I highly recommend coastal glo, within one appt which service wise may seem like a typical clean similar to what I’ve had in the past, this experience was completely different. I felt educated on the reasons behind my issues/ what we are going to do to fix it, rather than having a service and being sent out in to the world with somewhat average knowledge on how to better my oral care. I came away from the appt feeling like Rachelle was in my corner determined to do whatever it takes to get my smile to where it needs to be + being more excited for me than I am for me . Fantastic experience: As someone who has had a bad dentist experience in the past (haven't we all?) Rachelle was AMAZING at making sure I felt comfortable and cared for without any judgement. She constantly checked in with me and if at any time I wanted to stop we could. It was like I was spending time with a friend with some dental stuff thrown in there rather than being at the dentist. Her therapy doggo Col is the real VIP- he sits with you for most of the appointment if you wish to have him, and he has such a great personality (as does Rachelle!). Rachelle is really passionate about educating her patients on how to prevent dental problems, rather than fixing things when they get bad, which is so cool- I learnt so much. I highly recommend paying her a visit even if you have sworn off dentists in the past. Thanks Rachelle!

Rachelle gave me a thorough deep clean, oral hygiene exam, and used cutting-edge microscope technology for a Bacteriological and Microbiological Screening Test to analyse my oral microbiome. The results were so fascinating and, let’s be real, gross! She explained the good vs bad bacteria and how they impact overall health, providing me with personalised tips to improve my oral hygiene. Fantastic experience: Our 3 and 6 year old boys had an absolutely wonderful experience with Rachelle and her amazing therapy dog Col! They were both so welcoming calming and friendly, which made the boys (and us) feel so relaxed and engaged during their check.
