Fantastic experience: Dr. Cesar did a great job with our Lagotto. I was nervous at first, thinking our dog wouldn't let a stranger into our home—let alone allow anyone to touch his mouth and clean his teeth. He had some tartar buildup, but it's now completely gone. I'm very pleased with the results, and even happier that the procedure didn’t require anesthesia. Dr. Cesar also gave us helpful cleaning tips, which we'll be applying to all our pets moving forward.

Negative experience: I don't recommend this guy. The experience i received was very different to what the reviews stated. Firstly, he arrived at my place about 10 minutes before our scheduled appointment but sat in his car for almost an hour, I'm guessing on the phone, and ended up actually knocking on my door about 45 minutes late. Whatever, not a huge deal. He entered seeming a bit standoffish and frustrated, but soon started telling me his work history and "educating" me on canine dental health in an intense, low ley aggressive way. It didn't matter what i said, he was hell bent on giving me his opinion regardless of whether it applied to my dog. For example, him telling me that kibble was bad, i responded saying we don't feed my dog kibble, he brushed me off and continued lecturing me about kibble. This went on for a long time. I was starting to get quite uncomfortable but thankfully my husband came home which prompted the guy to actually get started. He did absolutely nothing to "make my dog feel comfortable" he simply grabbed my dog, flipped him over quite forcefully, pinned him down and banished my husband and myself from the room. I could hear my dog whimpering at times and when i once poked my head around to check if everything was ok i was met with a glare. When he had eventually finished and we were allowed to return we saw that our dog had peed himself (likely in fear, he is a young adult dog that has never peed in the house since being toilet trained). I regret putting my dog through this, and am quite upset that the man didn't so much as even pat my dog for a moment or do anything to make him feel comfortable and safe, or even allow me or my husband to be present. I'm assuming, by the many positive reviews, that he was having a "bad day" when he visited us Sure, everyone has off days, but maybe next time you have a bad day, just reschedule your appointment. It's taken me a while to actually post this review, but have finally decided to as the shock of this experience has stayed with me.

This is not only safer for Gracie, but also far less stressful for her. As we all know, anesthesia carries inherent risks, especially for our beloved pets, and I am so grateful to have found a safe alternative. The process is gentle and effective. I also appreciate how kind and patient Dr Cesar was with Gracie. Gracie can get a bit anxious at times, so doing it in the comfort of her home also made a big difference. Very happy with the results. Positive experience: CLEANING CATS TEETH. I have a mature cat who used to be a stray. He had a large tartar build up that completely covered his back teeth and in between the teeth preventing him from chewing. He was docile with bad breath that smelled like infection and his eyes had many dark mottled patches. Dr Cesar made a house-call to us. He obviously has "the vibe" because, as soon as he walked in for the first time, the cat came looking for him. Dr Cesar wrapped him in a towel, spoke to him firmly in Spanish and got started. I have to admit, it was no fun for the cat who loudly voiced his disapproval and squirmed, complaining all the way. There was blood as the tartar was removed though the Doctor tended it until it had completely stopped. At one point, I was wondering if this was the right thing to do but, before you know it, the job was done. No teeth extracted. The towel was removed. The cat didn't run but instead stalked off. We went through to the kitchen to talk about after-care. Within about 10 minutes, the cat was back! He walked right up to Dr Cesar, sat at his feet and stared up at him lovingly! It brought tears to my eyes. The cat was saying "Thank you." After a quick cuddle from the kind Doctor, the cat was straight to the food bowl. He wanted to crunch on cat biscuits instead of swallowing them whole, like before. Doctor Cesar told me to watch over 2 weeks to see how much the cat's health improves. The bacteria which gets in under the tartar goes into the bloodstream and causes all sorts of havoc. Two weeks have now passed. The cat is really happy, his face shape has changed, his eyes are more clear, clean breath, fur is glossy and full. It actually looks darker like perhaps when he was young. It is amazing. Dr Cesar's fee was about half what I was quoted by several vet clinics. It's not a fun experience at the time, but so very worth while in the end with a very short recovery period. I am thinking the cat will be a lot more relaxed next time we see Dr Cesar. Thank you so very much. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Fantastic experience: I'm so happy I came across Dr Cesar, after seeing a recommendation for him in a Facebook group I belong to. My dog was very calm throughout the entire procedure and her teeth were squeeky clean afterwards. I'm glad she got her teeth cleaned without needing anaesthetic and without putting her through unnecessary stress. I will follow Dr Cesar's advice, who is clearly very knowledgeable about dogs and cats, and won't hesitate to return should my dog need her teeth cleaned again in the future.

Fantastic experience: Cesare and Haidee were wonderful. We attended the dental clinic held at Paw Republic’s premises in Crows Nest, Sydney. George had a great dental clean and a residual baby tooth extraction. He came through it as if it were just another day in doggy day care. He wa so well taken care of. Communication from the team was superb. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous about having Tilly‘s teeth cleaned by Dr Cesar for the first time. Dr. Cesar put my mind at rest from the moment I met him and did the same with my much loved pooch Tilly. He cleaned her teeth without anaesthetic just as well as any vet who does it under an anaesthetic and in his dog whispering way does it without Tilly getting stressed. Fantastic experience: I recently had my dogs teeth cleaned with Dr Cesar with no anaesthetic. I found the technique he used to calm my dog was so quick and effective that my dog just surrendered to him to let him clean her teeth. Dr Cesar knows what he is doing and my dogs teeth are now looking fantastic. If you are like I am and are resistant to put your dog under anaesthetic to get their teeth cleaned then I would recommend that you try Dr Cesar’s services.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend getting your furry friends teeth cleaned with Dr Caesar. He is absolutely incredible. My little poodle is completely relaxed and not restrained at all while he gets his teeth cleaned. He is never stressed and always gives Dr Caesar a big lick afterwards. It is almost like he is thanking him for cleaning his teeth and giving him a fresh minty breath again. Dr Caesar is a qualified vet and performs the task of cleaning our fur babies teeth with such ease. When you think about it, as humans we don’t get put to sleep to get our teeth cleaned so we do we need to do this for our fur friends given it always involves risk for their general health.

Negative experience: DONT DO IT! I wanted to have my dogs teeth cleaned to avoid taking a toll on his body with anaesthetic. “Dr” Ceaser was able to get him lying on his back and I was actually quite surprised how he got my dog to cooperate as he’s very nervous. My partner and I sat near by, watching the TV in between glances over to our dog so as to not be those people who sit a stare at someone coming to the house to perform a trade. He made a passing comment that one my my dogs bottom teeth was wobbly and THANK GOD I glanced over when I did to see him pulling a PAIR OF PLIERS out of his bag. I immediately told him to stop. He looked at me funny and said, it’ll cost way more at the vet to have it pulled and he’ll have to be sedated. Damn right he’ll be sedated to have a tooth pulled!!! I was in total shock, I couldn’t do anything but will the time to go faster so he could leave my house. I wish I’d stopped the procedure right then and there. Not only would I never put my dog through that sort of pain, he had no X-rays to know what he was doing and what if he had gotten an infection? Every vet I have told this story to have been in utter disbelief and recommended I report the incident. It has now been around 2 years since this happened. My dog has since had 2 proper dentals at the vet and the tooth he wanted to pull still has not been removed, even under anaesthetic.

Fantastic experience: Dr Cesar did an amazing job cleaning Penny’s teeth. An even better clean than the vets have done under anesthetiser. Being a rescue dog who hates strangers and being handled, I was amazed how well Penny responded to this technique. Dr Cesar calmed her down and even managed to work around a large polyp. Will only use this method going forward.

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous at first because my dog is large and doesn’t sit still but once Dr Cesar calmed her down he was able to give her a beautiful teeth clean. Her teeth were originally brown and full of tartar. Her breath was terrible but as soon as Dr Cesar cleaned her teeth I couldn’t believe what I saw. Bright white teeth on my 14 year old Labrador. Thank you Dr Cesar. Her teeth look amazing.

It is almost sorcery, in the best way possible. My girl came out minty fresh and was still happy to go to him for love after her procedure. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was so impressed with the whole process. To not have to worry about anaesthesia (& all the stress/risks that go with that!!) and have Dr Cesar come to my home to treat Winston in his own environment was just brilliant. Winston appeared so comfortable, not at all distressed and even stayed on Dr Cesar's lap wagging his tail once the clean was completed. If you have any doubts I can honestly say there is absolutely nothing to worry about. The outcome is a happy dog with clean teeth - amazing!! Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: So folks I have two cats. One (Marlowe) has great teeth & the other one (jazzy) is the opposite. Genetics!!! So Jazzy has not done well in the past with the stress of the vet accompanied with the anaesthetic. She is 2-3 days to get back to normal. I was told about Caser & thought this sounds great. I was sceptical. This great man is academically brilliant but he has a gift you can't learn. I passed Jazzy to him & he established trust very quickly then wrapped her in a towel & cleaned her teeth. She didn't enjoy I'm sure but she barely made a peep. Her teeth had a lot of build up. They look fantastic now. So afterwards she just walked off & went for a sleep. Within 1.5 hours she was harassing me for food. If I didn't see this myself I wouldn't of believed it. Cesar is an intriguing man & I was basically learning the whole time he spoke. Really folks there is NO need to go for anaesthetic for a teeth clean. Great to meet you Cesar & may God bless you everyday. Thank you Joseph & Jazzy. These photos were 5 mins after the clean lol.

Fantastic experience: Dr Cesar did a really good job with cleaning my pet cats teeth. All tartar was removed and teeth are looking much better. Glad I didn’t have to sedate my boy to clean his teeth.

Negative experience: For dogs or cats who has cataract or spine issue or don’t like tummy up to the stranger, NOT recommended at all, this is my experience ONLY and you can always double check with your own Vet. However if anything happens later, once you have paid them, they will NEVER take responsibility after that, just blame on your side, so make sure you get ready for your future Vet bills and long way to recover. Worse customer service ever.

Fantastic experience: Dr Cesar and staff are AMAZING. My fur baby (Koco) gets stressed when I take him to the groomers or even dog park. DrCesar gently took him out of my arms with ease. After the treatment I expected Koco to try and run out the door, he was so relaxed he sat beside me while Dr Cesare explain the after care. AMAZING Koco has pearly white again. Highly recommend.

He also gave us good feedback on how to take care of his teeth on a daily basis. He made sure Kepler felt comfortable during the session. Negative experience: my little teacup maltese had her teeth cleaned with no anaesthetic in her own home! But I was told it would be gentle, she would be calmed, it wouldn’t hurt!? it was end of the day, Dentist was tired & a bit cranky, she wouldn’t stop squirming and screaming! So he just pined her down and forcibly cleaned her teeth. She spent the whole time screaming for me, I was hiding around the corner crying! Sure, she has nice clean teeth! But, so much for “gentle & calming!” It it was so traumatic for me and my little dog! Will never do that again! Took her ages to let me groom her or anything! I do not recommend him unless you have a very easy to handle & easy going laid back dog that will just lay there & let you do whatever!?

Fantastic experience: I was very hesitant to book my dog in for anaesthesia-free dental cleaning as he is very difficult to sit still, had very bad teeth and is partially deaf as he is quite old (14). However, Dr Cesar was able to calm him down naturally (I've never seen him sit so still!) and cleaned his teeth beautifully. He now has pearly white teeth, compared to extreme tartar build up from before the procedure. Could not recommend enough! My dog has been so happy ever since.

Negative experience: I’m afraid that after the experience that both my dog Pesky & my partner had with Cesar & Australian Animal Oral Care & my own experiences with the company I am compelled to let others know who may be considering these treatments. I’ll recount our experience which from start to finish was simply bad. To begin with Cesar was late for the appointment. 90 mins late in fact. My partner had to chase him up via his staff before he managed to touch base himself explaining his reasons. Since then we were told by Haidee at the office that he had been having a rough day. To be honest in that situation if that were the case it would have been best to just reschedule for him & for us. When Cesar eventually did arrive he took no time at all to get to know Pesky. Cesar himself if you’ve met him or seen his videos is a large somewhat intimidating man so putting our dog at ease with a large, strange visitor should be a given yet no time was taken to do so. It is advertised as an essential part of the treatment that Cesar uses relaxation techniques & acupressure to calm the patient for their clean but again he seemed in such a rush that it didn’t happen. Instead Cesar slapped down the mattress, cleared a space around him & roughly placed Pesky on his back. Had he taken proper time to introduce himself he would of learnt that our 14 year old dog gets regular treatment for arthritis in his shoulders & front legs including acupuncture & massage & therefore forcing him on his back was certainly not the best course of action. On the day my partner had a friend there with her & many times both felt concerned enough to consider asking that the treatment be stopped due to Pesky’s obvious distress & discomfort but in the interest of the procedure being done as well as possible left Cesar to his work. A 25 minutes after arriving the clean was done. Cesar also felt it necessary to somewhat blame Pesky’s dental health on his diet making my partner feel responsible although she brushes his teeth every other day with Cesar’s own products! I suppose he was just basing his opinion on past experience but it didn’t make my partner feel any better. Immediately following the procedure Cesar was in a hurry to leave & offered no helpful advice on after-care. After his clean Pesky was left very traumatised to the point where for the next 2 days he was violently ill & vomited several times. It’s a pattern we recognise whereby if he has been upset or scared it upsets his tummy & this was the case after Cesar’s visit. My partner & I were left upset & very concerned for him & hastily scheduled a massage from his regular therapist to counter the effects of the rough treatment. The next night when she visited Pesky was still affected & was nervous & shaken even though she has visited several times previously & he always enjoys her company. I contacted Haidee via AAOC & as calmly as I could recounted our experience. She admitted that Cesar had had a tough day & agreed that the treatment Pesky had received did not fully match up with what was offered & normally given. As Cesar was unwell on that day we were asked to wait until after the Easter weekend to hear back about our concerns. On the following Thursday I made contact again & was relayed much of a different story from Cesar’s point of view. I asked that Haidee contact my partner for her account of events & it seemed after that conversation that Cesar not only doesn’t like to hear criticism from customers or to even have his staff relay such feedback . Save for the fact of being very late & not asking about Pesky’s conditions he considered that everything else about his visit was fine & dandy & was completed as it should have been. In the end we were offered a $75 refund( a number I’m not even sure how they came to? ) & a handful of Cesar’s own products as compensation. If your pet is an anxious soul especially around strangers this really may not be the best option for him/her. Otherwise you never know it might be a better experience for you especially if Cesar is in a better frame of mind himself?

Fantastic experience: I was really nervous about Arlo getting his teeth done but there was nothing to worry about. It was a completely fine experience for him. His teeth are also very healthy. The at home routine is working SO well. Arlo loves the taste of the spray and toothpaste so cleaning his teeth is now a joy.

Fantastic experience: My 2yo Abyssinian cat (Valeria) had bad breath and irritated gums despite all our attempts to upkeep her dental hygiene. Our local vet provided unsatisfactory service or advice so I sought the knowledge of an expert. Cesar attended our home and took such great care of Valeria for her teeth cleaning. She was pretty sooky but he did a great job in keeping her calm. Cesar is friendly, has great energy and it is clear to see how much he cares for animals and how well they respond to him. It is no surprise to see dozens of reviews from happy owners. He did a full scale and clean of her teeth, but identified that something more serious was going on in her gums and referred us to see Dr Philip Sacks at Burwood Vet and Animal Hospital. Valeria was anesthetized by Dr Phil and unfortunately had to have five teeth extracted due to resorptive lesions (an unavoidable condition which caused her a lot of pain), but she has recovered well and the happiest she has been in months...with zero breath odor! I would never have picked up on this without Cesar's expert service and instinct to refer her when he did. I will definitely be booking in with Dr Cesar again over the coming years for a yearly clean, as I know he will always do as much as he can and refer us to Dr Phil for anything more serious. Big thanks again also to Haidee for her excellent customer service over email - swift, professional and kind!

Both are rescue dogs and can be funny around strangers, but he had them reclining in his lap being lavished with adoration and soft Spanish crooning. The end result was amazing. Fantastic experience: If I could put 10 stars on this man I would. I initially went elsewhere to a dental hygienist who advised me my dogs teeth/back molars most likely needed removal. As I did not want to go down this path I persisted and found Cesar. He was a vet but moved into doggy dental. I wanted to stay as I thought my dog would fret. The minute I placed my dog in Cesar’s arms he was relaxed. When Cesar worked on him, my dog was in a almost sleepy trans. I could not believe it. I was able to check his teeth after the visit and he was clean.... No tartar, white teeth, no bark, no anaesthetic and no pulling out of teeth. His breath smelt like coconut with s bit of mint...I don’t know how he did it but my dog was super relaxed. We sat for a photo and my dog did not want to leave. I can’t get over that Cesar was a stranger to my dog and my dog had this huge smile. We shared a joke and said ‘ I’ve lost my dog to you... he doesn’t want me anymore’... thank you so much.... Thank you to the groomer Steph who followed through with a pamper. They need this service for humans particularly the relaxed dentist part!! Fantastic experience: It was such a wonderful experience my dog Mocha have with Dr Cesar. He was able to calm my dog down, give him plenty of massages, taught him Spanish :) He handle my dog as through he was a dog whisperer. Most importantly the whole procedure, Mocha doesn’t need to be under local anaesthetic. I would definitely used Australia animal oral care in my near future for my dogs dental need, and would recommend all my family and friends. I was apprehensive to take my dog to a vet where she would be sedated and i wouldn't be around to see how she was handled, so i was happy to have found Cesar, who cleaned my dogs' teeth without her having to be sedated. Fantastic experience: I take the responsibility of caring for my little toy poodle Jake, very seriously. I prioritise his health and well-being, ensuring that if I am able to make a decision for him, that will allow for his comfort and happiness, then I do so. I didn’t want Jake under anaesthetic for a teeth clean and the idea of a home visit, where I could keep Jake in his familiar environment was very appealing. He entered my home so respectfully and immediately started working on developing a friendly rapport with Jake. Fantastic experience: Dr Cesar is amazing! I’m still amazed at how he is able to clean my fur babie’s (golden retriever, spoodle and cavoodle) teeth without the use of anaesthetic. All three were calm throughout the process, which is a miracle! It’s amazing this service is available as my boys are older and I don’t like the idea of putting them under for a teeth clean. This is the second time I have used Dr Cesar and am yet again very please with the results. All three had a lot of plaque and tartar build up but now have beautiful pearly whites again! Fantastic experience: My 10.5 yr old Labradoodle Duffy has occasional seizures, he had knocked loose some teeth during a seizure and had some plaque but it was not a good idea to have an anaesthetic to fix this. I was so pleased to find Dr Cesar who had a more holistic approach to fixing this AND he comes to my house !! No stress on Duffy and in fact he seemed to enjoy the experience..
