Fantastic experience: Have had quite a few visits at Matrix in Glenroy and Fawkner and always very happy. My husband recently had a CT guided steroid injection into the back. Could not have been happier from start to finish. Ease of booking, receptionist was very helpful. On the day the procedure was explained step by step. Dr Mack was very professional and did a great job. If anyone ever asks, I always refer them to Matrix. Thank you to all the staff.

Fantastic experience: I would suggest everyone to come to this Matrix clinic just for Sandra! She will welcome you as soon as you open the door with an incredible beautiful smile and lovely delicate voice. With her top professionality you will be 100% looked after. Her sweet manners will make forget your problems. She is gold!
Negative experience: Called several times on different days, they don’t answer or give me a call back. I attempted to send them an email and message on their website, nothing. How many breaks do you guys take? …. Trying to book for a pelvis scan… ridiculous.
Negative experience: one of the worst places i've been too, had an xray to get for my dentist referral went there wait for ages finally got in and got the xrays done stated clearly i have an appointment straight after with my dentist and was told it would be sen t straight how ever nothing sent got to my appointment at the dentist they received nothing serval times calling the no answer couldn't see my dentist in a lot of pain and has to re book with them until the got the results back Poor service, never again would i got back id rather travel else where absolutely shocking
Negative experience: Actually impossible to get through! What kind of practice are you running? Trying to call for over a week now to book an appointment. The phone just rings out and then hangs up. I've made online appointment requests and never receive call Or email for appointments. If i could give you zero stars i would. Very unprofessional.
Negative experience: The reception lady was extremely rude and swore at my children. She was that racist that I'd prefer not mention on-line. I was that offended I will definitely not go back here or recommend anyone with an accent to go to this place. She was a young lady in her mid 30s with black long hair.
Negative experience: If l could give less l would. If you don't take walk-ins take your sign off the window. We got there at 4.53 and their doors were closed. We are busy enough don't waste our time If you want to go home early inform GP's you don't close at 5.00pm you close earlier. And how rude when telling us whatever it was as we could not hear you you didn't even have the courtesy to open the door just yelling through closed doors.
Negative experience: I called Matrix Glenroy this morning 14mins and still on hold then called back again got through and was informed they wilkl send patient result to our practice fax number. Unfortunately didn't receive it and I am on hold automatically to try to get through. I have informed patient to follow up with Matrix in Glenroy. This is not right when a medical practice needs to call to get result faxed through.
Negative experience: Trying to call for 2 weeks now to book an appointment. The phone just rings out and then hangs up. Lodged 2 appointment requests and never receive call backs to book.
Negative experience: Horrible customer service, I called multiple times for them to keep hanging up on me, and when they did answer they were very impolite and rude, a woman named taliah picked up the phone, I told her my name and why I called she hung up on me. Their receptions are horrible and need to be changed.
Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic experience. I was in dire need of an ultrasound 2 days before my surgery and having called up other places with no luck until I was fortunate enough to have called Matrix Glenroy. They were able to give me an appointment on the same day which I was very grateful for. I was also lucky to get Kevin to do the ultrasound who is an absolute legend. I will strongly reccomend this to everyone!
Fantastic experience: very grateful to the lovely ladies at reception who managed to squeeze me in right before the clinic was closing, after i lost track of time and didn’t realise how close it was to 5 o clock! i have been here for scans a few times & have had a positive experience every visit
Negative experience: 10/01/2025 on this time 1:11 please check the lady who's was in reception. "I had a really frustrating experience with the receptionist at [Matrix medical imaging Glenroy]. She was unhelpful and seemed annoyed when I asked for assistance. It made my visit stressful, and I left feeling more confused than when I arrived. I hope they can improve their customer service."

Negative experience: Very bad service I never see before. Yes, I am wrong to went there late 15 minutes. And I am ok to wait but not for 1 hour to wait.
Negative experience: Why does no one answer the phone or email or voice mail !!! In the last 2 weeks, I've been trying to contact them by phone by email by voice mail by prying by begging.. but no one answered. Something wrong with them .
Negative experience: This is one of the horrible medical places i have been to. My partner was having severe chest pains and we went in for two x-rays which was marked urgent by the doctor, they said to us they would provide it the same day by night. We tried to call them but it was horrible since they didn’t answer it. The next day we rushed into the place to see what was happening and they’re excuse was “sorry we don’t have doctors working Saturday i understand that it was marked urgent but we can only give it on monday” this is so irresponsible, obviously it’s marked as urgent because the person is in critical condition. It was waste of time and waste of 180$ i will never go to these people again and i would never recommend it either.

We understand it can be difficult to remember your appointment time so we send SMS reminders to our booked patients the day prior to their appointment to help. If you were booked with us and did not receive an SMS reminder please phone us on 9953 6555 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, so we can investigate this.
Our team are highly skilled and experienced so our appointments fill up. Doctors also regularly rely on our expertise for same day, urgent scans requiring immediate diagnosis for patients with potential medical emergencies which we need to prioritise. So whilst we do our very best to fit in patients who arrive late and miss their appointment time, sometimes we have no option but to reschedule their appointments. We would be more than happy to assist you with your scan, please phone us anytime during operating hours.
Fantastic experience: Pretty painless experience here. The receptionist is pleasant. The radiographer outstanding. The radiographer took time to explain everything and gave very clear instructions. Don't worry about the outdated street looks. We all know this road needs a makeover.

Fantastic experience: The receptionist was pleasant but the care shown by the sonographer Vivienne was oustanding. She made the process painless and I felt comfortable and safe throughout my appointment. Vivienne explained prior what steps she would take, so i was informed throughout. She has a wonderful bedside manner also, very gentle.

Fantastic experience: I went there this morning just before lunch and the young lady at the reception booked me in for 2:30 pm. Same day. I don’t know her name but she was wonderful she is of Asian descent and she was very friendly,helpful and very well spoken. Once I got to get my ultrasound on my elbow Kevin was very professional and pleasant to deal with. I have been going there for the past couple of years now and would not go anywhere else. Keep up the great work.

Fantastic experience: Had my 20 week pregnancy scan here, had a very pleasant experience with my sonographer Vivienne, she was so kind and involved made the experience very special. Staff were very helpful too, wonderful experience on the whole.

Negative experience: They switch off incoming calls and won't answer phones. When told that all incoming calls are going to a recorded message they suddenly lost the ability to understand what I was trying to explain to them. I even dialled their number whilst standing at reception to show them that incoming calls were not ringing on their phones and were going straight to a recorded message. Neither staff member seemed interested.

Positive experience: These guys are always running late. Even for early appointments. The office is pretty grubby but on the plus side the staff are nice and the inaging service itself is good.
Negative experience: Very bad experience. I was fasting for six hours and running late to attend appointment due to traffics. I called 10 minutes earlier and told I am running late probably 10-15 minutes. Receptionist was rude and told me to reschedule due to I was running late. If I would have attended on time, as usual they always call half an hour late for any imaging. I highly not encourage to attend glenroy but I don’t know staffing wise in Fawkner clinic.
Hi Purna,
As we explained to you in the clinic, you missed almost your entire appointment. We couldn't fit you in immediately as that would mean the patients who were on time would be negatively affected. Our reception staff also offered you another appointment slot for later today and you declined. So we did, in fact make every attempt we could to accommodate both your fasting and your lateness.
As we are a medical clinic, we often accept urgent cases from local GPs. This means we unfortunately run behind. I'm sure you'd appreciate this if you were the patient about to go to the emergency department.
It is always disappointing to receive a negative review when we have done nothing wrong and have made every effort to assist a patient with their own mistakes.
We hope you are well, and manage to find an appointment at another clinic.

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter for xrays but was told the film machine was broken, I said "ok fine" and the receptionist said she'd email them (was going to hunt for the email address herself). When we went to our appt the Chiro had the films. I asked where they came from and she assumed I delivered them. The receptionist (Thuy I think?) called our Practice, found out they needed the films and DELIVERED them HERSELF!! Amazing Service. Far better than I have ever received. Amazing. Have been back since and will now be my go to imaging centre.

Fantastic experience: My 4 year old son needed an ultrasound And jazz the ultrasound technician knew the worry of a parent getting that done she was amazing and so comforting and reassuring. I walked in nervous and walked out without a worry. The reception staff were also friendly and welcoming. I can’t recommend this imaging place enough

Fantastic experience: The bad/terrible reviews appear to be when they were under previous ownership. The reception staff both in person and on the phone were lovely, attentive and polite, and answered all my questions no matter how basic. The ultrasound technician was incredibly kind, reassuring and professional.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for years. Kirsty has always booked me in ASAP not like other places where u have to wait a week or so to get in. They are always nice to me and very understanding as a have anziety. Fong is great as well always explaining this too me. I wish they did mammograms I would definately go here. Positive experience: I have seen other reviews as well where most of the written about rube and mannerless lady receptionist and actually she is very rude and mean. Doctors advise me this place with a urgent ultrasound as there is some issue with my pregnancy and i had sent them messages as well as tried to book appointment with her but she doesn’t have patience to listen to others problems, told me she will book me in the afternoon only. Since doctors told me about urgency I was quite scared about it so I tried to contact with other places where male receptionist try to help me squeeze me for appointment nearest and closest so recommended to go same place as he spoke with another receptionist from Glenroy. When I reached there it doesn’t look that busy but lady receptionist was shouting at another male receptionist as he tried to accommodate me. I can understand that she has work which need to be finished on time with tight schedule but there is something called ‘sense of urgency ‘, empathy and patience if she is working on healthcare sector. She has lack of all of these things and I would like to thank to other staff and specially phong who has accommodate my appointment.

Fantastic experience: Really nice and easy going staff. Can't understand why all the bad reviews. I called to ask if I needed to make an appointment, they told me "no, just come in anytime". I went in, was seen in 5 mins, and 10 mins later I was walking out with my x-rays. Hassle free and no fuss. Would recommend.

Negative experience: They are Horrible People. I was in very bad shoulder pain and I booked appointment with them but they gave my appointment to someone else without telling me and cancelled mine and told me you didn't book with us. Please avoid them.

Negative experience: Very unwelcoming female receptionist. Her phone manner was flat and impatient and her in-person manner was even worse; no eye contact, cold and short. My partner remained in the waiting room while I had my scan and observed her behaving in this manner toward multiple customers. The receptionist is first point of contact and the face you see when you first enter an establishment. As such, your interactions with that person often colour your experience with the business. I would highly recommend this receptionist takes on this feedback and re-evaluates their attitude toward customers. More importantly I'd hope that Inview Imaging considers hiring more professional staff if they don't want to lose business as a result of patient discomfort, seeing as many patients are entering the establishment at a sensitive time in their lives (pregnant, unwell or just nervous about their scans) and should feel welcome at the very least.

You're right when you say that the receptionist is the face of the establishment, which is why we now have Thuy, who is just as thoughtful and caring as the rest of our team. Negative experience: The recepcionist is the worse! Very rude, a 40/50 years old white lady. She yelled at me on the phone just for asking simple things. Made me cry (in another occassion made my sister in law cry too, who is also pregnant) and everytime I went for my appointments, her service and behaviour was the worse. Very bad experience. The sonographer was very nice person. But unfortunately, will never go back.

Negative experience: Sonographer seems good but they always forget to send the result to the doctor and everytime need to remind and request for the results. Sometimes because of that, need to get another appointment with doctor.
We're glad you 're pleased with our sonography team, Ajay. Unfortunately, the previous management had quite a few issues, one of which was delivery of results. Under the new management team, we now have automatic electronic report delivery, meaning your results are automatically sent to you referring doctor as soon as our radiologist has completed them. If you'd like to give the new team a try, we'd be happy to care for you.
Negative experience: Two females at reception were having a private conversation, as I walked in they gave me a dirty look and continued with their conversation, until it was convenient, one of them held out their hand for my referral without a greeting or eye contact as she was still fixated with her private conversation. She asked me what time my appointment was, I informed her I didn't have one and needed to make one, she told me to take a seat as she had a cancellation today. When I told her I didn't want to have the appointment today she replied with "What do you want then?" Absolutely appalled with this service, did not feel welcome the moment I walked in, even though it is my local, I will not be returning here.

They were not able to give an appointment because they were too busy (not even weeks/months down the track). It would have been fine if the receptionist was nice about it but she was definitely not. Very disappointing service.
Hi Avril, apologies for you poor experience but we're not a pathology service, maybe you mean Dorevitch up the road? A lot of people confuse us with the pathology. The majority of our services at Matrix are walk-in, and if you request an appointment, we'd never send you away without one.
