Negative experience: Unfortunately, i do not recommend this place especially for sensitive tests. No empathy, poor customer service and staff fail medical knowledge on how to prioritise urgent tests. There has not been a single instance where my attempts to schedule an appointment have been easy or satisfactory, due to staff being miserable and showing unhappiness to be at work! This decline in service has led me to advise my colleagues and my boss/doctor to reconsider any future engagements with Geoges River Imaging. It is disheartening to note that what used to be a reliable and efficient place has significantly fallen short of those standards.

Fantastic experience: I've had a number of tests done here in recent times and these guys make it so easy, everything from booking to the scans themselves were done very professionally. The staff are doing a great job

Negative experience: I have been coming to Georges River Medical imaging for years now and never had a problem the front reception desk is always very friendly and accommodating, however there was one instance where I came in for a renal ultrasound and I found it rushed and felt that maybe the scan had not been done correctly, I have had a turps done and my specialist does need these results to compare. I recently last week attended the GRMedical centre for another renal us, but I wanted to speak with a manager just to voice my concerns of last time, a woman came out and escorted me and my wife to one of the procedure rooms (MRI) her name was Lynn the rudest woman we had ever met i just wanted to get reassurance that all care would be taken as I wanted the results to be accurate she went on to praise her staff and did not care about my concerns (I was not complaining just making a comment about my experience of last time) any way said she was very busy sent me back to reception to wait for my scan. My wife then went to have a private word with lynne who said she had a headache and promptly threw my wife out of the room said she did not belong there, disgusting behaviour should not be a manager made matters really much worse than they had to be. I want a formal apology for myself and my wife and want to know she has been reprimanded for her behaviour I will be addressing these concerns with an ombudsman of health. Kind Regards John Nofal

Fantastic experience: It was a great experience to have an MRI done to my wife at Georges River Medical Imaging All the reception staff were very nice to us , smiling faces, hurrying to serve us and help directing us gently on the required steps Waiting time to have the scan was reasonably short With the biggest thanks to Lyn , the team leader and manager ,who, thanks to her directions , everything went smoothly Thanks Lyn to your great, enthusiastic help and support and your perfect management skills

Negative experience: The front desk is the first point of contact and sets the tone for the entire patient experience and impression of the clinic. Unfortunately, during my recent visit (Sat morning), the young receptionists (particularly darker skin, straight dark hair and glasses) showed a lack of compassion and professionalism. Their dismissive attitude and unprofessional tone, even while speaking on the phone with another client, were disappointing and negatively reflect the clinic's image. While the practitioner remains professional and respectful, the front desk experience brings down the overall impression and rating of the clinic. Improved customer service training is strongly recommended.

Negative experience: I made an appointment for my 90 year old mother on Tues 13th May at 1:00 pm. After the procedure (ultrasound) was completed we were told by the receptionist the results would be forwarded within 48 hrs to my mother's GP. Knowing how reliable and efficient the practitioners are I went ahead and made an appointment for Friday 16th May at 2:10 pm to go through the report, discuss recommendations or further procedures with my mother's GP. Upon arriving at the doctor's surgery we (my 90 year old mother and I )were told the report had not been forwarded as per required. Following the visit to the GP I called George's River Imaging and was told the report was still there along with many other reports and were waiting for a signature. My mother was confused, concerned and very upset as to why she could not get her results, 72 hours after her procedure. This is unacceptable, therefore we will be choosing another imaging/pathology service in the future.

Negative experience: I would give this place 0 stars if that was possible. I booked a prefnancy dating ultrasound a month ahead, and these guys call me 1/2 hour before the appointment that they have to move it to another date. On top of that, they are lying that they sent a voicemail which I never received. I know they are lying because I received a automated confirmation a day before my appointment.I’ve attached a photo of the message. Is that how customers should be treated? The lady on the phone was rude as well, wasn’t ready to answer any questions. I am so disappointed and would never recommend anyone to go to this imaging centre.

Negative experience: For the first time in years of coming here I had a bad experience today. My sonographer was a Russian woman who grew frustrated that she couldn't get clear images because of my fibroid (im aware of my fibroid and gave consulted with gynaecologists for it). I understand my fibroid can make images difficukt which is why i was there for 30-40 minutes. The sonographer was muttering frustratingly in russian and said my fibroid "was huge", something a sonographer should never say infront of a patient. She answered a phone call briefly and left the internal camera hanging out of me as she responding to the person on her phone. I called back and left a complaint with reception. A woman by the name of lynne, I'm assuming is the practice manager, called me back to give me alot of HR talk. "sorry if you feel this way" where she went on to defend the sonographer because of her "experience" but agreed the sonographer shouldn't of been on her phone. I didn't really feel heard, she more so kept defending the sonographer and her "experience as a doctor in russia" and i was made to feel like I was being sensitive. Lynne also commented on how "im young to have a fibroid that big" which i think was mighty unprofessional. I will be taking this further to the Healthcare Complaint Commision

Negative experience: I came to this practice religiously, recommended it to all family and friends due to the professionalism and care taken throughout my pregnancies and other medical issues. But something very serious happened in the hands of a sonographer employed by this practice that has left me with serious complications and injury. Upon calling the centre when this happened I was met with discussing accusations by Lyn the practice manager that what happened to me couldn’t have happened. I was then called by the owners and assured that I would have the support needed to overcome the horrific thing that happened to me. I have been left with life long injuries due to the lacking background checks and training that Georges River medical imaging did with “ fit in sonographers”.

Fantastic experience: I’ve visited the Revesby Medical Precinct twice this week for completely different procedures, and several times before. Every visit has been an outstanding experience. The reception staff are kind, professional, attentive, and friendly, setting the tone for the entire practice. From the doctors and nurses to the radiologists, every staff member goes above and beyond to make patients feel welcome—no matter their background or reason for visiting. A special mention to Dr. Bako , who is absolutely fabulous! Not only does he have an impeccable taste in bow ties and fashion, but he also performs procedures like cortisone injections completely pain-free. I had been anxious for weeks leading up to my appointment, but his presence instantly put me at ease. Brett street, Medical Precinct, suite 5 in Revesby is a 6-star establishment—10/10! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Front desk staff a awesome. The radiologist doing my MRI was a very caring lady she seen how I was struggling with pain and got the head dr of radiology come and drain fluid from my knees something Bankstown hospital wouldn't do. Negative experience: Very bad treatment by Lynne the manager. No decency with patients or bed side manner. Very rude behaviour when doing my child's scan. Do not recommend this place. They don't have a complaint form to report the incident in a formal way

Negative experience: Receptionist, Tarran, she was quite rude when I inquired about the name of the doctor I had previously seen for an X-ray. Initially, she struggled to find the doctor's name in your system and provided several excuses. However, she eventually located the information. Without any further communication, she abruptly hung up the phone. Oh she also kept correcting me by several times when I mistakenly called her by the wrong name by only one time, which made me very confused and gave the impression that it was a big deal." Other receptionist they are all very nice! Thanks them on going support for customers.

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much to the front desk ladies and radiologist for being so polite and helpful. Quickly assisted my wife who has a badly injured ankle by providing us with a wheel chair and even taking us back to the car. Negative experience: I was only 5 minutes late due to leaving my referral behind was simply on my way to get and proceed to only be 5 minutes late but the place knocked me back and found no way to resolve to help me but to reschedule me two weeks later while the place was empty and I was only 5 minutes what a joke will not be recommending to go to this place again

Negative experience: First of all the receptionist was not very welcoming and didn’t even had eye contact upon arrival. Secondly the radiographer was so unprofessional. Zero communication during CT scan procedures. Luckily I had CT done before so I knew the steps. She tried for venu puncture on my both cubicle fossa but she was unsuccessful and asked me to reschedule for another day. I requested to try once again as it was not easy to manage another day with little one and off at work. She was able to do it on her third attempt which showed she had been lazy or did not bother to try again. Even after procedure she made me wait for 15 min on Ct scanner and nil communication was done. I was busting to go to toilet after drinking more than 1 lt of contrast. Even after finishing no clear instruction was given where to place worn gown which comes to matter of risk of infection control at center. Very unprofessional lady working on Monday. Seems to be very racist. She really needs education.

Negative experience: Rude people no manners especially that greek dr reading all these comments about staff and doctors report them to the nsw department there's an app something needs to be done they all need training how to be polite and smile too. Negative experience: Receptionist with tattoos was rude straight off the bat. Not welcoming and greeted with attitude. She told us. we need to reschedule my wifes appointment becausewe were 7 mins late. We were late, because their lifts were very very slow and made us 7mins late. Even though we had driven 3 hrs for the appointment. They also booked the wrong the procedure. Receptionist did not care and was rude and blunt about it. Thank you to the other 2 Receptionist that step in and sorted it out in the matter of 2 mins. They where lovely and very helpful.

Negative experience: The Ultrasound technician, was very rude to me, when I asked him put tissue on the bed to place my hand on, as I noticed, it was not clean, where patients put their feet on ,suddenly, he turned against me and insulted me saying (it's cleaner than you) I told the administration, but they didn't apologise for the misconduct of the technician

Negative experience: I had my ultrasound at 3.40 Monday I arrived 8 mins late due to extra heavy traffic. I was turned away and told to reschedule even there was not a single sole in the practice. However I actually pleaded to be examined for my bladder was extremely full for the test. But still I was turned away I begged again to be seen and told them they're normally late anyway with I waited for 15mins in the past. But still they refused to see mee so I told them that I would go and die it would be best. And still I was ignored

Negative experience: The dr and one of the recipients are very rude and the hate foreigners there where laughing at over 80 years old man because he couldn’t speak English just because he wasn’t to know were to go I never seen anyone like this and arrogant people I suggest for patient to go somewhere else where they are welcome me and my wife will never go there again and I will tell all my friends the same to find a friendly staff

Negative experience: Crappy reports. Did a CT scan, the report didn't even address the problem even though the referral mentioned specifically to scan those specific areas. Not happy. Receptionists were nice though

Fantastic experience: This is the place to go for Ultrasounds, CT Scan and MRIs. There's free parking under Coles and a lift to the Medical Floor. The scan service is friendly and fast and I rarely have to wait longer than 5 minutes. The staff are very helpful. It's heaps better than that disorganised place in Bankstown with no parking.

Negative experience: Was not happy with my experience here. If you are pregnant and doing any type of anatomy scan, do not go here. What a waste of $200, I now have to go elsewhere to get another.

Negative experience: My wife and I had a terrible experience here. The absolute worst sonagrapher we have ever come across. Completely ruined the experience of the first scan for our new little one. She was rude and obnoxious throughout the entire process. Stayed quiet during the whole thing and gave zero info/feedback to re-assure us all was OK. When I enquired about the heartbeat, she said "I don't want to provide you with an answer because it would be too technical for you to understand". Some people obviously hate their job and this is reflected in their work. Find another place if you are looking at going here for a scan of your precious new child.. or anything else for that matter.

Fantastic experience: Just had my ultrasound with Sonographer Zoe; one of the best I’ve had. She took her time making sure everything was okay and explained to me everything she was doing which made me feel a lot more comfortable. Also their portal where I can see all my previous scans is really useful and convenient.

Positive experience: I've just had an awful experience here, but I'm trying to be fair as I've had so many great experiences here that I'd not reviewed over the last few years. The reception staff have always gone above and beyond, and until now I would have said the same about all the medical staff. But the doctor who performed my ultrasound injection this week was just awful. He was rude, didn't listen to anything I tried to say - literally said he wasn't listening to anything I said because he didn't care - and flat out said that my other doctors were just wasting my time and money if they'd suggested anything other than what he thought was the right solution to my problem. I had questions about the procedure that he just wasn't interested in listening to. Well, I wasn't coming to him for anything other than to perform the procedure, and I guess he did that smoothly and well. But I've never been spoken to like that by a medical "professional" and I'd be thoroughly anxious about the prospect of having to deal with him again.

Fantastic experience: I had such a fantastic experience here, the foreign body removal specialist doctor was just amazing! He was very considerate and compassionate and removed glass from my foot which 3 doctors before him hadn't been able to. I normally dread going to medical institutions, but I would come back here without any hesitation. Could not recommend their services more.

Negative experience: I was just here to try and get an MRI scan, and the staff person I spoke to was quite rude. I need scans for an appointment at the end of the week, and she treated me like I was stupid for confirming I just ring any other Imaging Center to try and find one that bulk bills for MRI and can do it expeditiously. To top it off, the number they have listed for the Bankstown Imaging Centre is INCORRECT. I called the number a dozen times and no one picked up. It wasn’t until I called the medical centre I have an appointment with that I need to bring the scans for, that they informed me it was the wrong number, and helpfully gave me the correct one. The staff there need to do better!

Fantastic experience: I had to bring my son who has special needs to complete an xray and he now must have a follow up. I must say the receptionist lady called Jess knew how to help my son as he was very stressed and agitated. Jess is an awesome and caring employee and I find all the staff there very helpful. Positive experience: The sonographers were great, however I had a strange interaction with one of the clerks from behind the counter. They were calling out my name but couldn’t pronounce it properly, and when I corrected them, she turned to the other clerks giggling and said “her name was spelt wrong”. Nothing huge but definitely think a little training around common courtesy is in order. My name really isn’t hard to pronounce and my name isn’t spelt wrong.

Fantastic experience: Had an nri booked for 7.30am. Had to wait maybe 5minutes as I was super early. The girls turned up with a smile and a good morning. When they were ready invited me in again with a smile. Had the mri done and then after another girl was courteous and seemed happy to he there helped with paperwork and the bill. Very happy.

Negative experience: This place has the rudest front counter staff. Today I had an appointment at GRMI in Revesby at 9am. Unfortunately I had forgotten my mask in the car, an easy mistake to make. The lifts were also out of service so I had to walk up the escalators and then all the way around the outside of the building to my appointment. Once I got to my appointment I apologised that I did not have a mask and explained the situation and requested if I could please have a spare mask. The woman on the front counter refused to give me a mask and said I would have to go back to my car and get it. I explained I was busting to go to the toilet because I was told to drink 1L of water for the appointment and was already late because I had to walk all the way around the building. She still refused. I explained all the lifts were out and I would have to walk all the way around the building and back in the rain. She still did not care at all. None of the other front counter staff who were listening offered me a mask either. I know they would have masks as it is a medical clinic and they need them for their staff! At any other work place masks are offered to customers who forget them. I had to walk to the Dr clinic and ask if I could please have a spare mask. Thank god the Dr clinic gave me one other wise I would have wet myself and had to reschedule the appointment. What a joke. Worst customer service I have ever had, do not go there.

The radiographers and receptionists have always been very welcoming and create such a positive environment. Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed by this imaging place, coming from a person who works in health care. Not only were the receptionists attitude disgusting in the way she spoke to patients and then to hear them talking poorly about aged care patients behind the desk not being able to find the place extremely disrespectful. But when I waited over a week for my GP appointment to talk about results of the ultrasound to then find out the results were not sent over to her, leaving the GP having to chase these up. Absolutely poor performance of everyone involved.

Negative experience: I've had two bad experiences here on seperate occasions, having ultrasounds. The second time, being given incorrect information both by the technician and on the report. I ended up going elsewhere to have the scan again.

Negative experience: GO TO A DIFFERENT IMAGING CENTER! This place did not even do my x-ray properly because they didn't have the proper attachments, even my doctor said this place never does their imaging correctly. They could only conduct my x-ray from one angle which was not even the angle requested by my doctor, so the x-ray that I had done was essentially useless. This is a very poorly equiped imaging center. Now I have to go to a different imagine centre to get another exposure to radiatian due to this centres negligence and lack of equipment.

Fantastic experience: I had a bad fall, thought I hurt my shoulder, referred to Georger River Imaging for shoulder X ray. While Lyn was taking my X ray she noticed a bruise on my neck, and being thorough decided to X ray my neck. Good thing she did because I had fractured vertebrate! Very grateful that Lyn picked it up, could have serious consequences if it wasn't. They organised an ambulance, were so helpful and showed genuine concern, which is nice when you recieve bad news like that. Highly reccommend them.

Negative experience: Young trainee (?) tried to straighten my small child's fractured arm to take an xray. I had to step in and ask if they needed help as my daughter looked in pain. She had my child sitting at an awkward level almost falling off the chair. When the radiologist came in, she berated the trainee for straightening the fractured arm. When I took the xrays to the fracture clinic, the surgeon had to order more xrays because the ones that were taken didn't show where the fracture ended. And none of the staff here were wearing masks! One doctor even had it under his chin! I'm giving two stars because at least they prioritised the report. But seriously, lift your game. You're a health facility, practice some hygiene!

Fantastic experience: So far nothing but excellent service from desk staff, xray and ultrasound even when I had to reschedule an appointment at short notice, I have another appointment this week but I'm not expecting any dramas edit.. as expected all good I had X-rays and an ultrasound and the service was great no problems at all

Negative experience: Was great now very slow, staff at counter polite the manager is not. In my opinion she is abrupt & rude. Talks over the top of you and then when it is done to her she says your talking over me and hangs up on you? Staff at the front counter told me that they were behind with work due to they had two radiologists off getting married when I said that to this manager she told me they had no one off getting married? We have been going there since they opened, not anymore we will go to the south terrace imaging in Bankstown where they at least know how to report on an scan or Xray in 24 hours & are not rude when you give feedback or a complaint. . This is not the first time this has happened, Somthing needs to be looked into before we ever go back there. The staff at the front desk are wonderful, the people who do the xrays and scans are great but the report time for results to get to your doctor and the managers attitude are not. Update: More mistakes by these people, Took my dad to his eye doctor for his results of his CT brain scan two weeks earlier only to find that no results were ever sent. The eye clinic receptionist got on the phone and asked them to fax over the results. Ten minutes later the fax arrived but they had sent over the results for Dads CT gall bladder scan not his brain scan done earlier. When the eye clinic receptionist phoned back to tell them of the mistake the lady in the background could be heard saying rudely and snappy I've sent them !! ...yes the wrong results. Never again will I or my family ever go near these peolpe again ever. Second update: I found out at my next GP apointment that they had sent the scans to him and the referring Doctor was still waiting on them. I had to take them from my GP. My GP asks why on earth did they deliver them to me when Im not the referring doctor?? With this place who knows?

Negative experience: Worst experience ever! Had been there for ultrasound for my brother. Next day i called them and they said the report is ready and has been sent to the GP. When we went to see the doctor they havent't sent the reports and when we tried to call it was already closed. Wasted my 2 days and 2 GP fees. Will never go there again.

Negative experience: Absolute rubbish, very untrained sonographers, the staff are rude, they keep me waiting for 1 hour when i come in time & last time i was late they refused to let me in although they were behind as usual!!!! Rubbish For being late 30 minutes & had other appointments & I’m 19 weeks pregnant, i was insulted by the centre manager & called rude!!!! Also the sonographer wasn’t free & i wasted their time as they said... they were behind as usual!!! But they wouldn’t be respectful & helpful they would rather insult customers instead....

Fantastic experience: An excellent service , great receptionist , great radiographers and sonographers , professional , caring and knowledgable , I'll be bringing all my family here in future , they were so helpful to my grandma and really put her at ease !

Fantastic experience: The lady who did my ultrasound was very lovely helpful and informative. She also made "the urgent" note so i could get the result on the same day due to my pain so i can see my doctor afterward. Great service.

Negative experience: Discusting service. First time parents and booked for first ultrasound....requested to have the sex of baby written on paper. They refused. They have a policy to not write the gender on paper??? What What policy!!!! Discusting

Thank you for taking the time to explain the issues you encountered recently and advising why our services did not meet your expectations.

The purpose of the Morphology scan is diagnostic, designed to check the wellbeing of the baby.

Notwithstanding we appreciate the sex of the baby is extremely important, the Morphology scan would only produce a result with respect to the sex of the baby that is 98% accurate - there is still a margin for uncertainty. As explained during the scan, we are happy to verbally advise the gender of the baby during the scan.
