Fantastic experience: Very professional and technical. They have deep experience and guessed what diagnosis I had, before it happened. They suggested additional screens, on the day, to identify and confirm. The diagnosis is very accurate and explained my chronic conditions. The radiologists are the best I've ever had. They take the time to look at every individual scan deeply, and found things that other radiologists at other locations have missed. It has changed my life for the better. Thank you team.

Fantastic experience: Berita, the Asian-looking girl (no offense & racist intended), helped me with my pelvic and abdominal ultrasound today. I had a warm and pleasant experience. Another girl did my abdominal X-ray. The entire team — from the reception staff to the professionals — made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. A strong team!

Fantastic experience: Jess and Dr Lam were amazing! I did my biopsy here and they were gentle, professional and understanding. Definitely will be coming back here for future procedures.

Negative experience: I had an unfortunate experience at Synergy Burwood on Saturday, 29th March. My appointment was delayed by over an hour, and when I finally saw the technician, everything felt rushed and impersonal. The technician was not only impatient but also physically moved my leg so roughly that it fell off the ultrasound chair, without verbally instructing me to do so first. When delivering the news of my miscarriage, her body language was cold, and she repeatedly mentioned that it's very common, apologizing without any real empathy. There was no follow-up or guidance on what steps to take next. I was left to wait two business days (so 4 days as my appointment was on a Saturday) before I could get clarity on how to proceed. The staff should at least have a leaflet or some kind of information on what to do next, especially when dealing with such a sensitive topic. I had previously visited Synergy Burwood and had a much more pleasant experience with a different staff member, which is why I returned. Unfortunately, this visit with the technician was deeply disappointing. I hope the staff is trained to be more compassionate and sensitive when delivering such difficult news to patients. Additionally, better organization is needed to avoid the rushed, impersonal atmosphere that can make these already difficult moments feel even more insensitive.
Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of having my recent ultrasound here. They were absolutely fantastic! I was in need of urgent appointment and they were able to fit me in quickly. Not only were they extremely knowledgeable and professional, but they also made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. The sonographer was right in time and was very gentle. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
Negative experience: An absolutely terrible place with highly inexperienced and incompetent staff. By way of contrast, Lumus Energy, pass Burwood Park is so much cleaner, more professional and provides a much better care and service.
Fantastic experience: Very impressed with the entire team from making an appointment to front desk to radiology staff. They are so professional and patient with everyone and made our entire appointment flow so smoothly.
Negative experience: I was only thinking of giving half star to this facility. I had my 1st morphology for my pregnancy, which gave the worst experience I had ever in any medical facility. The sonography was very impatient and had zero empathy with using the terms “turn your blood head up”, “what the hell”ect to my baby during the ultrasound procedure. Please do not come here or be careful with who you have for your procedure. I tried to find out the name of the practitioner with the front desk lady. His Good luck to everybody who is coming to this place for imaging.

Negative experience: The chinese lady at the reception was super rude, so uneducated♀️ If the owner checks reviews, please consider to hire other chinese receptionist. There are many candidates who are willing to work.. And other staff were fine.
Negative experience: Worst lady at the back of the reception with the mask on. Doesn’t know the patient situation and becoming rude to us like we came there for a free ultrasound, worst experience ever. I won’t recommend anyone if you have other option to go for ultrasound. Negative experience: Very rude, front desk staff doesn’t know how to speak with patient. Have waited for an hrs multiple times but when asked them to wait because forgot to bring referral unprofessionally treated by Carmen, was very rude, when requested to check if dr is happy to do it, not even asked Dr. Decision made by herself saying no one would like to do it. It was only 1630 hrs but said they have to prepare to close. Don’t wanna see her again will never go to this practice in future.
Negative experience: Had the worst experience here , from start to finish , firstly reception talk about clients , and have no respect for them. I waited 40 mins when i booked an appointment, on top of that the lady doing the ultrasound was cold and i had a family member with me who agreed the whole experience was horrible, would not reccomend
Negative experience: Beware they are always late with bookings. Book for 2pm and hope you get in by 2.45pm. They say to come in 10 mins early so you start on time, but what's the point if they are 30+ mins late? Otherwise decent service from the techs
Negative experience: Haven't been here for a while, had good impression before. But now it seems management is chaotic, receptions are cold and even a bit rude sometimes.
Fantastic experience: Much nicer than the Campsie location. The sonographer explained everything in a lot of detail which was much appreciated. No issues with booking or wait times.
Negative experience: Loads of workers not doing their jobs. The system to book and wait is joke. The system needs to be restructured for ppl that have health issues. Really, u have to line up and wait 30min to make and appointment and if u do online they don’t call u back. Joke.

Negative experience: If I could give it less than 1 star, I would. Why do these people take appointments, make one and an hour and a half later I'm still there waiting. Booked for 1:30pm, got up and walked out at 3pm. Now I have to go back to doctor and get another referral and going elsewhere cause this mob is pathetic.

Positive experience: A good Imagining Centre but very hard to to get hold of to book appointments on the phone. I had to go in person to book as I tried for 4 days on the phone with no reply to messages left on they're answering service.

Fantastic experience: Always a caring and professional experience here. Staff are always lovely, warm, and patient. Have had X-rays, scans and steroid injections in my spine here (injections with Dr Wing). The staff and doctor made the spinal injection as a stress and pain free as possible.

Negative experience: Synergy Imaging use a centralised phone booking system for appointments at any of their locations. Waited on phone for 30mins to make a booking at Burwood and Strathfield locations. Tried website and requested a booking form and I have yet to recieve an email. I also requested via phone the option to have someone call me back and 2hrs later I'm still waiting.

Negative experience: Today, Synergy Radiology management contacted me about this issue. Synergy Radiology acknowledged that the receptionist, Rebecca, behaved in an unacceptable manner and assured me that they will enhance their employee training. Although Rebecca's behavior was rude and unacceptable, we both agreed that there was no clear evidence of racism. However, it is worth noting that she repeatedly asked me to repeat myself even though I was speaking clearly, and she requested me to read the referral details line by line after I had already explained what I wanted to book. Moving forward, I hope that Synergy Radiology takes this incident seriously and implements the necessary changes to ensure better customer service experiences for all patients. Clear communication and respectful behavior should be the standard for their staff, and addressing issues promptly is crucial in maintaining a positive reputation. Especially considering Burwood and its surroundings are such a culturally diverse area. ------------- I am writing this review to express my profound disappointment and shock at the unprofessional and racist behavior I encountered while dealing with a phone receptionist at Synergy Burwood. From the moment I made the call to inquire about their services, it was evident that the receptionist had no regard for basic customer service etiquette and exhibited overt racism during our conversation. Not only did the receptionist display a rude and dismissive attitude, but they also made derogatory remarks based on my race, which left me feeling deeply offended and disrespected. Such behavior is utterly unacceptable and has no place in any organization, especially one that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction. I had hoped for a positive interaction, but instead, I was subjected to an experience that left me questioning the values and professionalism of Synergy Burwood as a whole. I strongly urge the management of Synergy Burwood to address this issue promptly. It is essential to conduct thorough training for all staff members to promote inclusivity and cultural sensitivity. Additionally, appropriate disciplinary action must be taken against the receptionist responsible for their behavior. Potential customers deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their race or background. I hope that Synergy Burwood takes this complaint seriously and works towards creating a more welcoming and respectful environment for all customers.

I had inadvertently booked with another imaging service, but they fitted me in and also gave me the scans straight away afterwards just in case the Dr didn’t receive them electronically. The radiologist was extremely competent and explained things very clearly.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE AS A PREGNANT WOMAN. 8.00am- Went here for a 8 week scan and discovered that my pregnancy was not viable. The technician was very kind, and said that they will put a rush on the report, and it should be available in 1-2 hours, and advised me to see my gp 1pm- gp visit- the report is not available. Gp calls and asks for a rush to be put on it. 4.30 pm- rpa emergency department call to chase up this report. 8am the next day- foetal medicine specialist has to call and chase up report. In my personal opinion, they are more interested in churning out images than properly managing patients. I want to manage my miscarriage, and this place is holding up the entire process, despite several medical professionals waiting on, and reminding them to just send a report. A 1-2 hour report rush should be just that. Nowhere does a 1-2 hour rush mean 24+ hours. What a joke.

Negative experience: Was told to drink 1l of water before ultrasound, I went there early just in case if I couldn't hold. And I waited extra 15 to 20 mins for it, I really needed to go toilet as my bladder was full. Asked the receptionist, they said already took your file in(with the unfriendly look) will call Ur name soon. And I waited for another 5 minutes, still haven't called my name so I asked if I could empty my bladder a little and they said no (with the deadly look). Fortunately, the reason why i would still give it two stars was because the lady sonographer was very nice, she instructed me to empty 1/3 of my bladder as it was too full and she won't be able to do the scan.

Negative experience: DO NOT RECOMMENDED to do your pregnancy ultrasound here. The sonographer refused to show the baby to me on the tv despite me asking for it couple time. She asked me to wait for her to finish her assessment. She did then show the baby on the other screen for 30 second for me to look and asked me to clean up. She claimed it's quicker for her this way. This is really a bummer for me as a first time mother. I was so excited to do my first ultrasound but I have to experience this and make me feel miserable.

Negative experience: Came here for a pelvic ultrasound specifically for my left ovary pain. The sonographer took ages for the scan and kept pressing my stomach and didn’t tell me what was going on. I asked her and she said there’s a lot of gas so she can’t see. She kept trying and I thought she got the pictures she needed because I was then sent home. Two days later, I get a call from my doctor that THERE WAS NO USEABLE SCANS ON MY LEFT. The communication was poor from the Burwood Medical Imaging’s sonographer and extremely disappointing. I would’ve appreciated you just being upfront, honest and transparent instead of me finding out from my doctor two days later?

Fantastic experience: Staff were excellent - first class. Clinic needs painting - walls and scanner a bit grubby. Back wall seat in waiting room is disgusting and stained by multiple spills - chairs aren’t comfortable. Some money needs to be spent on the premises. Looks tired and worn out. Your first class staff deserve a better working environment.

Negative experience: Never organised or on time, anytime you ask how long you’re told next but you then see others being called. If you have bookings don’t let walk-in ins but in. Very unprofessional clinic.

In response to your comment about waiting times, we can assure you that our goal is always to see patients in a timely manner, but sometimes emergencies happen, or there are other circumstances beyond our control which mean we need more time than expected with a patient.
Negative experience: Appalling service. Very unprofessional staff. I went for a dental scan and told me that it is not bulk billed nor covered by private insurance. When asked about the price they told me that it’s $150. I asked them when would I get the result because I already booked for an appointment with my dentist. Staff told me that the result will be ready by Friday. So I proceeded to do the scan, after the scan, upon paying, the staff told me that it’s $200! They said that they have increased price. I didn’t argue and just paid $200. Saturday came, I was collecting the result. They told me that it is not ready and that I should have waited for a txt message saying that it is ready to be collected. Nobody told me on my scan day that I needed to wait for a txt message. I asked for a refund but denied. I told them that my appointment with the dentist is on Monday and the result won’t be useable anymore because they failed to give me my result which was promised on Friday. Staff are very unapologetic about it. Poor communication and extremely unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: I have had many ultrasounds ! But today’s experience was different . This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had in my life ! Steven was amazing ! He kept me calm explained everything he was doing he explained every image infront of me and even asked me if there was anything I want to know or see several times thank you so much I will be booking all my scans here for now on . Fantastic experience: First time here to perform a cardiac CT Scan. The attentiveness of nurse Jessica is just excellent. Detailed explanation on full procedure n effects to ensure the 2hrs duration won’t be filled with anxiety or uncertainty. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Good public relations service of staff at front desk. Very helpful and are able to squeeze me in after X-ray and for ultrasound. The health professionals whom I saw were also very helpful and asked questions about me and why I have to see them. Overall that’s why I keep on coming back when I need them.

Fantastic experience: I have been to this centre many times and everyone is very friendly, caring and helpful. Steve the sonographer that did my ultrasound is awesome! Very friendly, caring and has a marvellous "bedside manner" Makes you feel very comfortable and at ease.

Fantastic experience: Efficient and friendly from start to finish. A busy place and I can see why. Would recommend Burwood Imaging for your ultrasound and cortisone injection. 2 out of 3 of the doctors I have seen there informed me very clearly of what was going on and why!

Fantastic experience: I have attended Burwood medical imaging multiple times throughout my 2 pregnancies. The services are superb there, especially all the imaging technicians, they are very professional, caring and warm. And you get an individual account with access to all your medial images, which in my case were my babies’ precious ultrasound photos. I did attend another imaging service due to moving, and the service was rushed. Therefore, I came back to Burwood medical imaging, highly recommended!

Positive experience: Quite busy in the reception however the specialist (Peggy) was on time and was kind and gentle with me. I would definitely visit again for my scans.

Fantastic experience: Steve is a gentleman and a scholar. He explained the procedure and made me feel comfortable explaining what he was doing and what he could see on ultrasound of the thyroid gland. The lady doctor that performed the aspiration of thyroid cyst for subsequent biopsy was professional and gentle. I was treated with kindness and felt at ease throughout the whole procedure. I have no hesitation in recommending Burwood Medical Imaging to anyone.
