Australian Laser & Skin - Brighton

Negative experience: I needed an appointment just few days before an important event and the only available time was at 1 pm, so I took the day off work. 30 minutes before the appointment they called to say their machine had broken. I understand things can happen and it wasn’t their fault and they rebooked me for the day of the event. But then again on the day of appointment they sent me a message saying I needed to reschedule, with no explanation. Now I can’t find an available appointment at any other clinic. I’m very disappointed and I will definitely not be going back there.

Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience at the Brighton clinic. I called ahead to confirm they offered TruSculpt and was told they did, so I proceeded to book the treatment, paying a $50 deposit. When I arrived to my appointment, the injector told me they don’t offer TruSculpt at this location. She apologised and asked me to write down my bank details for a refund of the deposit. Nearly a week passed with no refund, so I called to follow up. Since it was the day before Easter Friday, I was told to wait until the following Monday and to call again if I hadn’t received it. I waited until Wednesday, still nothing, so I went into the clinic in person. The receptionist remembered me and said she was actually going to call me that day to ask for my bank details—despite me already having provided them previously. I handed the card to another staff member, who said nothing, didn’t make eye contact, and just kept typing. I stood there in silence for a while, expecting at least an apology or confirmation that the refund was being processed—but got neither. Eventually I had to ask when I could expect the refund and I expressed that I was quite frustrated for having to follow up multiple times, and she said, “I’m doing it now,” still without looking at me or an apology for the delay. The whole experience felt disorganised, impersonal, and dismissive. I understand mistakes happen, but after following up multiple times and being met with poor communication and a lack of basic courtesy, I left very frustrated.

Fantastic experience: Monika is magnificent. She is so knowledgeable, and highly experienced in all aspects of skin and beauty. She has a lovely temperament, and puts you at ease to be around

Negative experience: I book an appointment for weeks for a very important event. I got all their confirmations and the day before I got cancelled. No explanation. The nurse went on holiday and I had to book with their oakleigh clinic and then I got cancelled again. I wouldn’t recommend them at all. Not professional how they manage my case and didn’t even reply to my emails. Worse experience ever

She always ensures I have a pain free, comfortable experience - and a good laugh while I’m there! I’ve had both fillers and anti-wrinkle with Seamus. Again, always pain free! I’ve never had so many compliments on my lips since after my filler with him, and I am so happy with all the results. I won’t go elsewhere for laser, injectables and skin treatments.

Definitely didn't expect to be so impressed by the service and care, and just general connection and enjoyment of the procedure which was with Brigitte. She made me feel comfortable, talked through everything and how it works - but then it was like just hanging out with a great friend! Left feeling wonderful, and look forward to my next appointment. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to my friends and family, in fact already have.

Fantastic experience: I've had photo rejuvenation and skin needling done with the beautiful Brigitte. I didn't believe I would get the amazing results achieved already, I actually didn't think it would be possible to repair the damage without serious intervention. Brigitte was honest, practical and very professional, and recommended and performed treatments that have given me the best skin of my life (well probably since pre-puberty!) Their care and professionalism is second to none and I always look forward to my next appointment. I highly recommend them.

Negative experience: If I could give this clinic negative stars I would. After the so called "manager" refused to give money back as they are not able to provide their services, she then thought it was appropriate to speak negatively of her clients. This is in no way acceptable or professional, and it is definitely not how a manager should behave or how a business is run.

Negative experience: Had the worst experience with this company last year. Accidentally bought $119 laser here instead of across the road at my normal place, only realised a month after when I went for an appointment so I walked across the road to request a refund and was given no straight answer. Later I was called by a manager who basically said 'too bad' and I told her I couldn't use the laser as I already have had everything I needed done and she said are you sure? what about your arms?... Most appalling and degrading experience, still rattled all this time later and no refund ever, just a waste of so much money that surely I should have been allowed to have back as it was an honest mistake :(

Negative experience: Had Appointment for botox , had to give a $50 deposit was told a dr will call me so i could get a script at 1:00pm still waiting at 1.30pm rang and spoke to guy telling him i was still waiting , got hung up on while waiting on phone ,tried ringing back and just keep getting answering service. There quick to take deposit but not answer phone or have some one ring the time you were told they would. Id rather lose $50 than trust getting any treatment done were they can't even do as they say and wasting my time waiting .unprofessional , Would not recommend paying deposit.

Fantastic experience: The best experience I’ve ever had in a clinic. I’ve been told lip filler is painful but for me a bit uncomfortable not painful at all. Shape is so natural and perfect. Young was the nurse. She was a perfectionist and conservative which exactly what I was looking for. I got so many complaints and many of my friends didn’t even realised. it’s been 10 days now and I’m loving my lips Thank you very much

Negative experience: Over 4 sessions paid, I've been treated for laser hair removal thoroughly only once. And one other time was sufficient. I love the machinery, it's very effective but when you get half of the benefits for your money... well it's just not worth it. I thought it could be a one time thing, considering the therapist was alone and she was running late for the following appointments.Trying to be understanding I didn't mention it at first but I could definitely see the different results on my body during several sessions with different laser therapists. Then it happened again. I was in and out in 8 minutes for full legs, brazilian, perianal and underarms (8 minutes including undressing, soothing gel application which I've been told to apply myself and dressing back). Therapist M. never wore gloves while the other therapists always did. She was also squirmish around my brazilian and perianal which was treated with only one "click", making me feel very uncomfortable and uneasy. When I gently and in a very easy chatty way enquired about the speed of the treatment I was told that her favourite laser treatment was skin problems and she was just covering the shift. I left speechless and with still treatments to complete I am now looking for other Clinics because this is humiliating and not acceptable. I hope this message will not be deleted and I hope it will be used as positive criticism to improve your service, not only for the people that are already happy with you but especially for the ones that are not.

Fantastic experience: Love all the girls here. They are so friendly, caring and give amazing advice. I have had laser hair removal, a micro and brought skincare. Each time I have been so impressed with the level of service. They have a fantastic customer focus. Will be back!
