Collaroy Skin Care and Beauty Retreat

Negative experience: I came in for a Brazilian wax with Jess earlier in the week. Pretty bad experience service wise. I told her it was my first time having a wax before, and she did not show much care to that fact. She did not explain anything or talk me through it at all. Just started putting on wax and ripping it off with no warning. She then claimed she was done with the waxing and just left the room. She didn't do the full Brazilian, I had to put my clothes on, meet her at the reception desk and then ask if she could finish the Brazilian properly. She said "she forgot to offer me the rest of the wax." I am not sure how you forget to finish/"offer" me what I actually booked? She also left a few clumps of wax on me. While the wax itself was fine, there was little to no care or customer service. I don't know if this was therapist specific or if this is how each client is handled, but I would not go back.

Fantastic experience: I was kindly gifted the Wind Down & Glow package at my baby shower nine months ago and it was hands down the best gift I’ve ever received. From the moment I walked into the salon yesterday Liana and Hailey made me feel so welcomed. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting setting the tone for a super relaxing experience. Liana was my therapist she was the perfect blend of professionalism and care. She took the time to walk me through my skin’s unique needs and customized my facial to suit me perfectly. Not only did she provide an amazing treatment, but she also taught me things about my skin that I never knew which will benefit me for years to come. Her gentle touch was so relaxing throughout the massage and scrub I wish it never ended. I highly reccomend Liana & this treatment, especially for first-time mummas postpartum. It was an absolute dream leaving me in a cloud and I look forward to booking in again. Thankyou for pampering me and making me feel human again!

Fantastic experience: One of the best spa experiences I’ve ever had! Zulpha is absolutely incredible! The time and effort put in to understand my skin type and educate me of better practices was amazing. The facial itself ( pomegranate enzyme peel) made an instant and very noticeable change to the health and radiance of my skin. I highly recommend seeing Zulpha and will be returning to Collaroy Skin and Beauty as often as I can. 11/10!!!!

Fantastic experience: I like to call this place my little sanctuary. I absolutely adore this place. From the moment you enter through the doors you instantly feel relaxed. I have had numerous appointments with Becky, Liana and Zulpha who are just wonderful. My most recent appointments have been with Zulpha and I can’t thank her enough for the most amazing skin peel facials (with the added extra - leg massage). I leave feeling so relaxed and my face looks so firm and beautiful. This is a must visit spa.

Fantastic experience: I was looked after by Lucy. Had a lovely full body scrub. It’s was perfect.

Negative experience: Booked for a pedicure and they cancelled as they will not treat you if you have had your nails done elsewhere with gel before. Ridiculous as it’s normally removed anyway before applying

Fantastic experience: I have just left Collaroy Skin and Beauty Retreat after a Relaxing back massage with scrub and O Cosmetics Pomegranate Peel with Liana. From the moment I entered the Salon I was greeted warmly by the receptionist. Liana guided me to my treatment room while I relaxed with a herbal tea and foot soak. Simply divine. The back massage with scrub was super relaxing and the facial with peel was absolutely Heavenly. My skin feels amazing and looks dewy and hydrated. I highly recommend Collaroy Skin and Beauty Retreat to anyone looking for a results driven facial with elements of relaxation. Can't wait for my next appointment.

As a mum of 2 I’m usually pretty exhausted and burnt out. But whenever I come to collaroy skin and beauty I always leave feeling rejuvenated and fresh. I came to the salon for the first time with really terrible skin a year ago, 6 weeks before I was going on a 2 month holiday, and got an appointment Sulpha who absolutely transformed my skin in those few weeks and it has just kept improving ever since. They genuinely care about your skin and progress and won’t just sell you products for the sake of a sale. Only place I trust with my skin and beauty!

Fantastic experience: Collaroy Skin and Beauty has been my go to beauty salon for years now. Becky and her team provide the most wonderful service and treatments. As a busy mum to 3 kids, the minute I step into the salon, I automatically melt into relaxation and zen mode and know I am going to be pampered with the highest quality of products. My eyebrows always get commented on and after having my favourite treatment "Wind down and glow" my skin feels and looks incredible for days. Can I also note, how much dedication and time goes into training new therapists, I can confidently book with any one of their therapists knowing I will get the same experience with each treatment. Fantastic experience: Euphoric. Divine. Sensational. This was, by far, the best salon experience I have ever had. The smells took me away to some exotic land, the massages had me floating off to a dream world and the facial has left me fresh and plump. I was walking on clouds the rest of the day. I am so happy I was given a gift certificate and introduced to this little slice of heaven on the northern beaches.

The girls provide expert skin care advice to continue skin care at home as well with their great products.

Positive experience: Nice staff and beautiful salon Only go to get my eyebrows waxed, and had a few different staff members, but they never really get all the hair waxed off even after going for almost a year. I wouldn't go back anymore but sure their other services are great.

Negative experience: Really patchy spray tan! Me and my friend had green underarms and skin by the end. Really disappointed, don’t come here if you want a good spray tan!
