Positive experience: I don’t think the cat eye is done well because my nails just look like dumb silver color, which are very different from the nail picture that I showed to the technician. And the ombré is not consistent on my right and left hand nails. I had a good impression of this nail salon before, but today I am bit disappointed because the final product doesn’t match the money that I paid.

Negative experience: I honestly don’t understand how this salon has so many good reviews. I went there early in the morning (around 11 a.m.) when there were no other clients, just to remove my old SNS and get a fresh set done. Two other people arrived after me, were served, and left — yet I ended up staying there for three hours for something that should’ve taken less than one. The result was honestly terrible. My nails look uneven, thick, and poorly shaped — nothing like what I asked for or what’s shown in their photos. I’ve attached pictures so people can see what I mean. I really wanted to like this place based on the reviews, but my experience was the complete opposite. Hopefully this helps others make an informed decision before booking.

Negative experience: Friendly greeting on arrival. Great conversations during treatment. 3 stars given as I lost a nail within 1 hour of leaving the salon. Within 4 hours, I have now lost 3 nails. Sad face. Edit: within 24hrs I now only have 1 nail remaining on one hand. Extra sad face

Fantastic experience: Choya did my nails and she is amazing, the amount of detail in her freehand nail art is unbelievable and I will 100% be going back again. Negative experience: 11am phoned for appointment, one given for 1pm. Arrived on time to have SNS infills and pedicure with shellac. Left at 4pm after being shuffled around and left waiting between walk in customers. Nails were stripped of previous services and tried to convince me to have a newer system. Have been having my nails done 3 - 4 weekly since 1986 1st with acrylic and last 5 years with SNS in many salons, I found the operators process of placing my HANDS in a bowl of acetone and saying rub nails with paper towel in there to remove polish quite archaic and gross. Will never return and definitely would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Lovely experience, staff were so caring and made the experience great. I normally go elsewhere so was a bit skeptical but loved the finished look. It did take about 2 hours which was a bit long for an infill and 2 replacements but I also went to the loo halfway. Would 100% come back, the time they took showed in quality

Negative experience: I spent over 2 hours with three different staff members working on my nails, and I specifically asked for ombré. This is the result. I will never go back. Dont waste your time and money

Negative experience: Booked an appointment with this business around a week or two ago for nails, I showed a photo and they got started on shaping after a short wait. Once all the powder was on my nails they left me to dry which ended up being around a 2 hour wait, they kept accepting walk ins and it seemed they were overbooking themselves. they then came back and began painting the nails but another client came in for a different service and the lady who was serving me had to work on them. Waited for around another hour or two before they completed my service which ended up taking around 40 minutes. The ladies were extremely friendly and kind whoever they're time management skills were poor and it would be nice to see improvement in the future.

Fantastic experience: I am so amazed with the nails that Choya created. It is the work or art. She is so talented and so creative. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: If you are seen by the owner she does a fantastic job however the other staff don’t seem to function at the same level. Had a full set done and a pedi, pedi was average and she forgot to do the scrub and massage on one of my legs but remembered the other. After 2 days my big toe polish was already off. Then my full set, one nail lifted off completely a day later and 3 nails polish came off a few days later. Not great for over $140 worth of services I won’t be back.

Fantastic experience: Omg!! Could not recommend this place enough! I wish you had a store in Melbourne and I will be back just for me to get my nails done by you! First time and most certainly not my last. Thank you I LOVE MY NAILS.

Negative experience: I arrived for my booked appointment and was left waiting - 20 minutes later my service still hadn’t begun, with no acknowledgement of the delay and no sign I’d be seen any time soon. I’ll be looking for somewhere else, which is a shame as I’ve been really happy with the quality and price of services.

Negative experience: Really average mani pedi! Expected more based on the other reviews. Mani was left really rough and I had to ask for them to remove the excess glue they’d left under my nails and each nail was a different shape. Pedicure was one of the worst I’ve ever had… they barely did anything and left me with loads of dry skin on my feet! Would not go back!

Fantastic experience: Amazing work in a nail emergency! I had my nails done in Sydney for a work christmas party, and the place had totally destroyed my nails. I never had acrylics before, so I thought pain in my nails was normal. One night I rolled over and my nail had bent backwards, leaving me in pain with an icepack for days. TNC explained to me what the other salon had done, how they were going to fix it and what they were doing. Very professional and did their best to restore my poor nails to both a usable and overall nice looking standard. I will be going there again for any further nail needs.

Negative experience: This place is absolutely horrible, first time going here, I got my nails done for my formal last week on Wednesday by Tuesday the week after I had 5 nails come off, considering I payed $70 for these I expected so much more. Other then that the customer service was good.

Fantastic experience: I am happy with the service and the staff are adorable and friendly and also very accommodating. Choya is amazing i love her nail design , I finally found a nail shop that is friendly environment as soon as you walk in.

Positive experience: I really like this place, even though it’s more expensive than others I’ve been to. I’ve visited a few times, but I’m not happy with the experience of starting my nails and then being left waiting while they start on someone else. Also I specifically asked for a certain shape and polish style because I don’t like sharp nails, but my request wasn’t followed. It also took over an hour to finish. I wasn’t in the mood to complain at the time, but I felt I needed to update my review. It’s really a shame because I had high hopes for this salon.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing first experience at Trending Nails & Co yesterday! The team did an incredible job with my nails, they are absolutely perfect and exactly what I was looking for. I’ve struggled to find a salon that can give me that flat, natural look, but they pulled it off flawlessly. The staff were so friendly and patient, especially when I was unsure of which color to choose. They let me try different shades on my nails before we started, which made the whole process stress-free. Their attention to detail is unmatched and I’m so appreciative of it, and my nails have never looked better. I’ll definitely be back!

Negative experience: Worst experience ever, got scammed. Paid $65 for cracks in nails within 2 weeks and they ask to pay more if you want to fix them. Would never recommend.

Negative experience: I had infills done on Tuesday. The 1st lady didn’t go over the tip of the nail. After I told her to do that she did. BUT why did I have to tell her to do that?? I had her boss do the polish. After leaving I noticed I had polish on 3 of my cuticles. I didn’t have time to go back. But I won’t ever go back.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic salon and talented staff. I’ve had my share of nails done, good and bad and my set here was absolutely gorgeous. Staff were lovely and extra attention was paid to shape and all the small details that usually get rushed over. Absolutely recommend to all.

Negative experience: My mum and I just had shellac pedicures and it was very painful!! Our nails were cut so short and uneven, and are now red and swollen. Very bad experience unfortunately.

Negative experience: Even though I booked an appointment (which you have to pay extra for) with a specific nail tech, I was seen by about 4 different nail techs and not one of them was the one who I booked with. I was also left waiting for periods of about 45 minutes multiple times because they forgot about me. The service took much longer than it should of. One of them also got angry at me because I asked if they could make the nails a shorter length. In the end the nails were uneven and lots of residue was all over my hands. I felt upset and had to take them off myself a couple days later. :(

Negative experience: Whenever I go to this place they take hours to finish the service this includes waiting time as well as service time, my nails ended up crooked and they didn’t have time to do my design so I left with plain French tips.

Negative experience: Worst nail experience. They rushed doing my nails and didn’t paint them nicely I had shellac on my fingers. After 2 days the shellac started to peel off and chip. Also never had this before, my nails have spilt in the middle.

Nothing is rushed and they truly care about their clients. Their booking system is so easy to use! This is officially my favourite salon and I’m so glad I found them! It just felt like the job was rushed and I thought my nails looked messy with all the dry products on my cuticle and fingers still. Overall, my expereince was okay.
