Negative experience: I had a shower 3 X hours after my tan was applied and there’s no difference in my skin. The last tan lasted for a week, but now I have no tan after 1 X shower. I felt the whole experience was different and am clearly disappointed

I received a gentle reminder of my appointment and arrived to a friendly and warm welcome. Sarah greeted me and took me through and not once did I feel uncomfortable or anxious about her seeing me naked. The attention to detail and application procedures were phenomenal. Negative experience: Awful experience! I was super excited about trying Beach St out as I have seen a lot of influencers/friends going there. My therapist spent most of the tanning session talking about how she dislikes uneven tans and tans on the palms of the hands. My palms ended up covered in a dark tan that was IMPOSSIBLE to remove for three days. My feet were three times darker than the rest of my body, and the overall tan made me look like I was covered in mud because it was too dark. I ended up not being in the shoot that I was scheduled for on the weekend as my hands and feet looked so awful. I would not recommend this place to anyone—there are so many better options in the eastern suburbs!

Fantastic experience: Love this place! Best tan I’ve ever had, so good that I’m there every week now. Tess is so great, lovely and efficient. The tan also comes off so naturally, never patchy, it’s amazing.

Fantastic experience: Jamie does an incredible job with my spray tans, I won’t go anywhere else now. I’m incredibly pale and usually suffer from patchy tans as it starts to come off, but these ones don’t go patchy and last much longer than others I’ve had.

Fantastic experience: Loved my Beach St experience! I went for an afternoon of pampering and it did not disappoint. The teeth whitening was amazing. A noticeable difference! The dermaplane treatment was so relaxing and my skin felt amazing afterwards. My skincare and make-up went on so much smoother. It felt divine! I finished it off with one of their signature tans and it was fabulous as usual. A custom colour later and I felt like a bronze goddess. Their wrap dresses for after your tan are so comfortable and you don't have to worry about getting colour on your clothes. Amazing! Love coming to Beach St to see the girls and the beautiful salon. It's a dreamy experience each and every time!

Positive experience: Incredibly friendly spray tan salon that make you feel at home. Unfortunately after my tan developed it is rather patchy and orange!! I said specifically I do not want a shade that goes orange. I was assured I wouldn’t. I only have this spray tan as I have a big event this weekend. I feel really disappointed!! But they are a lovely team. And I think have a good client base. I must be really unlucky. Patchy feet, hands that look like I have a disease and orange body that’s lighter and darker in some areas for $65 I was hoping for the perfect spray tan.

Fantastic experience: I have frequented a couple of other tanning places and had awful experiences. Beach St was recommended by a friend and she was right, they are fabulous! The colours are perfect and have recently accrued me a number of compliments. The salon is immaculate and the team always make me feel welcome. More recently, Ace, was impeccable! I mean all the girls are great, but tonight Ace was amazing! I used to only get tans for special event. But tonight Ace may have converted this to an addiction. Her attention to detail, sensitivity for my comfort and passion for good results. I left the place feeling amazing (and looking it too, because my tan was awesome!) All the girls are great!! Don’t book Ace alone because I need to make sure she still has slots open for my next tan...
