I had a plasma pen treatment for mole removal on my face, and laser treatment for pigmentation, sun/age spots, and keratosis. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Negative experience: Edit: Elly mentioned it would be fair to show pictures of two weeks later and how it won’t always work the same for everyone. First of all, scars can be easily covered with make up now but more than a year and a half later my dermatologist can still see the burns of this poor procedure underneath the first layers of my skin. I’ve been able to see that scaring with a special light my doctor is using and it is frustrating to think she didn’t even take accountability at all. PLEASE PLEASE LOOK FOR A PROFESSIONAL. I’ve been to Medic skincare clinic once and that was enough to bring my self esteem down to the bottom; I had RF Needling treatment and the numbing cream (not a comercial brand but one made by Elly) burned my face. As soon as she started putting in into my skin, I felt the burning sensation and l let her know, she proceed to remove the cream with a hot towel and try a different one. We moved to the RF procedure as Elly said it was safe to do so. As soon as she finished my skin was irritated (I was expecting that as part of the treatment) but with blemishes and burns turning into purple more than red ish. Not 24 hours after my face was full of bruises and burnt spots with pieces of skin falling apart. I called and sent her the pictures and she was very impressed as it was the very first time this happened to her. She asked me to go back to the clinic to give me “something” to help resolve this. I drove 35 min to be given a cream (the amount of cream was a joke, literally the size of Sephora containers for trials to take home, not bigger than a finger) and that was it! I keep thinking it was my skin and a bad luck, but after having a real and professional consultation with a DOCTOR and derma clinician I understood the bad practices and the terrible follow up from Elly! I had to stay with these marks weeks! Not being able to go out to protect from the sun and bcs I looked terrible! Elly wasn’t even apologetic nor offered a treatment to help the healing, let one a refund! I feel so fooled! So if you came here looking to see whether or not using this clinic DONT! Look for a professional and ALWAYS ALWAYS see their qualifications first, this industry is not regulated in Australia so a course can allow anyone to use such a high technology tools! It took me 7 months to decide whether or not posting a review, but after having an experience in a different clinic today, I thought it was my responsibility to share my experiences with others that come in here (as I did) to check if the reviews where good enough to give it a try. The pictures are from day 1 and 3 after RF and please note that although I had acne marks, my skin wasn’t this pigmented or marked with red burns.

Fantastic experience: So far I've had 1 x VPL treatment (for redness/spot treatment on my face) and 2 x RF Microneedling sessions with Elly for my neck in the second half of 2023 and had such great results from those treatments that I went back today to get RF Microneedling on both my face and neck this time. From the 2 previous treatments I had on my neck only, I've found that the bands/crease marks in my neck softened greatly (barely visible now) and the skin has become more a lot more taught and has much better elasticity (plus it just seems brighter and healthier in general). I found the session today to be relaxing and enjoyable, and was really happy that she was able to get closer to my eyes and it was still quite comfortable because it's an area I'd like to see improvement in. Ellie is exceptionally knowledgeable, has a really good range of services and gives good aftercare instructions and advise. I did a lot of research before starting at Medix last year because I wanted to move to a more trained and experienced person who had a good range of services that would address and target different/specific concerns. I felt I was at a stage where I needed more than what could be achieved at the 'shopping centre' clinics so I researched, found Medix had good reviews and decided to try it and it's pretty much become my go to place now for advanced skin treatments (and as it was google reviews that led me to it in the first place and I had a really good session today I thought I'd add one too :) ). Very much worth coming here and I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I’ve visited Medix 4 times so far for RF micro needling. I had lots of stretch marks (white stretch marks) all over my tummy due to my pregnancy. Ellie was honest and knowledgeable. She knows what she is doing. She told me that I would definitely need at least 5 treatments and she was right. After my 3rd treatment, I noticed that my stretch marks were started fading and my skin was tighter. Only thing no one said about micro needling was that it was quite painful even with numbing cream!!!! but It was only during the session and no downtime afterwards so I think it’s worth it. I can’t wait to see my 5th result soon.

Negative experience: I had laser on my forehead and unibrows 2 months ago and she burnt my face. after contacting them she did not tell me any solution to get rid of the burn marks. Instead she told me it will go away in few weeks. But when it does not disappears i went to Australian skin laser clinic in chadstone. They helped me a-lot and explained the situation what she did with me.They have given me brightening cream and told me for micro-needling to get rid of these marks faster Also they are very cheaper they only charge 69$ for full face but she charged me 100$ per session I am new to laser treatment so did not know how to react at that time but now i want to do a complaint and take actions against them.Can someone help me what are my options now, and what can i do against them so, that no one else has to suffer like me.

Fantastic experience: I have had two sessions as part of a RF/Hydrofacial package. Loving it! After the first Hydrofacial session I saw a visible difference in my pores. Very clean, professional and the location is fantastic for parking. I’ve been to other clinics where parking was tough and public transport was the best option - but that means going on with a fresh, red face after needling. With Medix no need to worry about that. My first time RF needling (have only done regular needling before), within a few days I could feel my skin tighten and texture improve. I am looking forward to seeing how subsequent RF needling treatments will go.

Fantastic experience: Ive only had two sessions at medix so far - more booked in :)) but the results already are like nothing i expected. Ive previously been to another laser hair removal place and i did ten consistent sessions with no visible results. However, after having even just 1 session at Medix i saw results straight away. It has been the best decision. Its a bit pricey but Elly is so professional and changes the settings to suit your hair and skin type perfectly. Ive genuinely already reccomended medix to 4 of my girlfriends. Keen for more sessions. Couldnt be more thankful!!
