Negative experience: I just wanted to share my frustration and disappointment with this provider. I had an initial consultation with one of their consultants to commence a course of laser hair removal. I advised that I have never had this done and can confirm that a patch test was never completed during the initial consult. After having the initial treatment, i found that the next day my legs looked like I had been bitten all over (photo 1), I called the clinic and was advised its a normal reaction and that the laser "worked really well". What followed is days of unexplainable itch and burning feeling, I could not sleep, it hurt putting clothes on, absolute anguish. I called the rooms again after a few days (it was a weekend in between) and was advised I could come to the clinic so they could do another form of treatment to "help it heal". Understandably after what had happened initially, I did not wish to take them up on their offer. The itching and burning (as well as the redness) lasted for weeks. I continue to have discoloration on my legs and I don't know whether this will ever go away. But apart from all of this, the lack of empathy shown by this place for something they caused is what really worried me. I had asked for a refund as I had paid for 4 sessions in advance, they only refunded me 3 and made a decision that the one I used they will not refund as this is an autoimmune illness and not something I or the consultant were aware of. Essentially it is not their fault they do not follow due diligence and patch test an area prior to the treatment. I have attached some photos of what this looked like for weeks after treatment, I have to still live with these scars potentially forever as they are still visible after 2 months following treatment.

Fantastic experience: I see Myni for my laser & she is a gem. Not only is she super friendly & makes you feel so comfortable, she handles you with care. I also see Jenny for my Botox treatments and I couldn’t recommend her enough!

Fantastic experience: The atmosphere and services are amazing. I highly recommend trying this place out! I have recently done 5 sessions so far and I've received amazing results. Additionally, the people working here are so kind and looks after you if you experience any discomfort or soreness. Consequently, for those who tend to forget about their appointments, the receptionist will either call or send a SMS to notify and confirm your appointment before-hand. Therefore, no late fees!

Negative experience: I am a customer since last year and I have always been served with amazing people. My last 2 sessions have left me not feeling the same. In April and yesterday again I was served by same girl Myni. Last time also I had to wait because I was double booked. Even yesterday I was called again and was rebooked which is ok. I still waited and there was no acknowledge of been late by her. She took me to a room and started treatment with the gun laser which I have never seen and has never been used on me. I wasn't informed it's a different machine rather her attitude was you should tell us which machine you prefer...she did my underarms and I refused to do my bikini as it was very uncomfortable.She said the machine I normally use is occupied. She was like oh you want to re book and when..later as I exited the room she said room is available do you want to do it..her service and attitude is 0..not just once but twice I have seen it. Very unpleasant, unprofessional and I don't care you are back or not attitude. She throws it back to you for everything without taking owners. I came home and saw my underarms still have hair left.even didn't do the job properly. She was asking me you need gel after session!! I was sold gel saying its important and here she was asking then she applied gel on cotton and was giving it to me to apply in bikini area!! Like what was she thinking?? That's what you do for customers after laser session..not hand it to customer!!!Definitely not coming back once my sessions are over. She needs to learn how to treat customers and not just make up stories. I don't think there was anyone in my normal room when she started my session. And even if there was she should have informed me of different machine.

Fantastic experience: I wasted a lot of money at a ‘laser’ clinic at my local shopping centre before I discovered that I had the most amazing Laser clinic 5 minutes from my house! Since going there my visits are less frequent as they are actually getting rid of my hair instead of making it worse as I had experienced at other places. If you want permanent hair removal with professional staff who take pride in their work and business, definitely see the wonderful staff at Australian Laser Clinics in Hillside!

Fantastic experience: Had laser hair removal with Annh. Honestly the best laser hair removal session I’ve ever had at any place. She’s so sweet, and super meticulous about getting every single hair. She made me feel super relaxed and kept checking in to make sure I was comfortable. She’s by far the best consultant I’ve had and I’ve been to several different laser places. I usually hate getting hair removal treatments and tend not to do another session for a long time, but I’ll be returning frequently to this place because of her.

My laser technician is Anh and I wouldn't see anyone else. Anh is very friendly and professional, she makes me feel very at ease. She explains things along the way and is constantly checking on my comfort level. Anh is always happy to help with any questions I have. I highly recommend her.

Negative experience: My wife had 1 laser treatment and it resulted in a very, very bad skin reaction. We requested a refund for the unused pre-paid treatments on Doctor's advice and Australian Laser will not provide this without a signed waiver releasing them of any responsibility. Once we advised we would not sign the waiver they have not returned multiple emails or calls. Read the fine print and do not pre-pay any treatments. In response to your comments regarding my last review and your comment that my wife refused to come into your clinic after you damaged her legs. A medical doctor advised my wife not to get any further treatment as she told you multiple times. It is negligent that you wanted her to come in for further treatment against a medical doctors advice. Your company is a disgrace by suggesting she must attend in order to gain a refund for services not rendered. Very, very poor response from you. You should be ashamed. Just for the record, this refund has still not been resolved and we have had to contact consumer affairs and have sent more than 5 emails asking for a refund for services not rendered. This is basically theft that you will not refund the money for work you have not completed. 18 Jan 2023 - We were forced to sign a smaller scope waiver in order to receive a refund for services not provided. Terrible experience dealing with this company. 24 Feb 2023 - Response to AL&S comment. She booked on the Hillside site and I believe the Hillside and Werribee site are owned by the same person.She still has scaring on her legs and was basically forced to agree to an agreement that makes you not liable for any damage so she could get a refund. Nice work AL&S, you obviously value a very strong legal presence, rather than caring about customers health.
