Fantastic experience: I recently had a facial and it was such a refreshing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and I felt instantly comfortable. Abbey took the time to assess my skin and tailored the treatment to what I needed most. The products felt soothing and lightweight, and the facial massage was such a highlight—it left me feeling both relaxed and rejuvenated. My skin looked brighter, more hydrated, and noticeably smoother straight after, and I feel like I look 5 years younger!! I walked away feeling pampered, refreshed, and with skin that’s never looked better. I’d definitely recommend SKIN Peninsula to anyone and I’ll definitely be back!

SKIN Peninsula is customer focused in all aspects of their business; Customised facial treatments, amazing brow shaping, latest technology in tattoo removal, LED, skin needling. When SKIN relocated to Mornington from Port Melbourne, I tried many local therapists but was not getting the results of the treatments I was from Abbey at SKIN. Negative experience: PLEASE do NOT come here for tattoo removal. It’s been 8 months since my last session and my skin is still so damaged! I would rather of just kept my tattoo if I knew they would have damaged my skin like this. I’ve been to 3 different clinics and they all refuse to work on my skin for at least another year! Due to how badly I’ve been burnt here. All I asked for was some of my money back to go else where to get scar treatment and got nothing. If I could I would give 0 stars. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go elsewhere for tattoo removal.

I started ILP in the winter months in preparation for summer and I was thrilled that by December I was bikini bald! So happy with results! Sue is a leader in this field and will get you bikini ready. Also the care and professionalism in helping my teens care for their skin is second to none. Abbey tailor made a skin care routine to help manage acne and breakouts. My teens can now look after their skin at home with salon quality products that are gentle and calming on their skin. Each school holidays they look forward to coming into the salon for a deep cleanse facial. My son included! They always come out with glowing skin and most importantly they feel good and more confident. Fantastic experience: Since I can remember I’ve dreaded getting any waxing done because I’m a total sook and unfortunately as I’ve gotten older there’s just more hair to take care of. I’ve finally found somewhere I actually look forward to going. Abbey is by far the best waxing experience I’ve ever had. It’s like a mini facial with hair removal with minimal pain. It’s not the cheapest option but I would rather pay a bit more for a great experience than suffer through a cheap one. Parking is also easy which is always fantastic.

Whilst there is no pressure to consider purchasing products Abbey had suggested, I am so glad that I changed up my cleansing and moisturing routine. The cosmedical products used by SKIN Peninsula are cruelty free, vegan, highly effective and economical to use. I think I’ve actually saved money based on use of fewer products that I know will care for my skin effectively, A regular facial is now a regular treat for me and I am thrilled with the noticeable improvement in my skin health and its appearance.

Negative experience: EDIT IN REPLY TO OWNER’S RESPONSE: The decision to write this review was mine and mine alone. It was posted to warn others of what can happen at this clinic as other negative reviews show. I have never disclosed to SKIN which clinic I am now attending or when I have attended, but after a recent text from Sue and the response below stating that they believe I’ve attended elsewhere “yesterday”, proves they’ve done some serious internet stalking! Do not spend $400+ here for your skin to be mangled. I had 1 session of laser tattoo removal here and my arm is ruined and horribly scarred. Every GP, plastic surgeon and laser therapist I have seen since have advised me that the original therapist at SKIN went too hard too early on the laser. I have spoken with multiple other clients of SKIN who have received the same treatment and now have terrible scarring. Please think twice before booking tattoo removal here and do your research. Photos are my skin post treatment at SKIN, which after consulting with medical professionals I am now aware was not meant to occur. If the laser was used at an appropriate setting this would not have happened.
