Negative experience: Got recommended a specific barber at this shop by a friend as my previous barber shop closed down and I was looking for a new barber somewhere local. Booked an appointment with that specific barber that was recommended. Show up on the day at the correct time and let them know I had a booking with that specific barber. Without any explanation or being asked, I got put with another barber who “didn’t have any bookings”. Obviously this was convenient for the shop. I wasn’t told why I wasn’t put with the barber I booked, nor was I offered to wait for him etc. it was just “take a seat in this chair”. Wasn’t offered a drink despite the customer next to me getting a beer, wasn’t asked if I liked my haircut (had to actually ask them to get a mirror to see the back). Wasn’t asked if I wanted it styled or any product in it. The young bloke cutting my hair actually did an alright job, especially considering (I assume) he’s fairly new to it. When I asked at payment why I wasn’t put with the barber I booked, I was told “I don’t know. Must’ve been a miscommunication. Maybe you should have said something”. Not sure what else a customer is meant to say other than “I’m here for my 12:30 booking with Sim”. Pretty self explanatory. They then offered to fix my haircut….cant exactly glue the hair back on. Edit: (added after owners response) I was never advised that the barber I booked couldn’t cut my hair. I wasn’t offered “you can either wait for the barber you booked or get your hair cut now by this available barber” like the owner is trying to state. I was told “take a seat in this chair”. You also said there were “2 barbers free” and then said “actually this one has bookings so take a seat there”. I’d never been to the shop before so I had no idea what the barber I booked looked like, or that he wasn’t available. Hearing it now for the first time in this response. As a business the onus is on you to provide the service your customers book/pay for and if there’s a reason you can’t provide it, you should explain it to the customer and give them the option like you’re trying to claim in your response. If you had asked me that question I would have happily waited. Don’t expect customers to be confrontational with you or have a crystal ball and know why they’re being told to sit in a certain chair. I actually spoke to the barber I booked when I made the payment and he is the one that said he “wasn’t sure” why he didn’t cut my hair and it “must’ve been a miscommunication”. He didn’t say he was unavailable or running behind. In fact he said the client after me came in early and that’s who’s hair he started cutting shortly after I arrived.

Positive experience: It was a good haircut but definitely not worth $55.

Fantastic experience: I came in with extremely long hair wanting to cut it short with a fade cut and I am extremely pleased with the haircut and overall service from Kamiran. Kamiran cut my hair exactly as I asked for and was very patient while taking his time to cut through a lot of long hair to achieve the cut I was looking for. 5 out of 5 Stars, I will definitely be coming back to World Class Barbers for my next haircut!

Kamiran was great and did a fantastic job with the fade, even asked if I wanted a drink during the cut which is something I had never been asked before! Will definitely be coming back!

Negative experience: I feel like they only like their own kind. I made an appointment 3 hours prior, when I arrived, they told me the person I booked was away. The guy was sarcastically telling me, ‘he’s not even here today, why did you even booked him.” Well I how was I supposed to know? I was cool at the time, and was fine leaving. Then, the group of them were discussing who wanted to cut my hair. It was obvious no one wanted to cut my hair, and they didn’t even try to be discreet. Eventually one of them settled and began cutting away. The entire time, he kept talking with the other barbers, chatting with the customers, and joking around with the randoms who would poke their heads into the shop. He had no interest in battering with me. So I just sat quietly and hoping he would cut faster. He didn’t. I was in the chair for 1 hour. All I asked was a fade, not even to trim the top. It wasn’t that great, and I could see those around had very neat, clean fades. Mine did not blend well at all. In the end, he ended up cutting the top, which I never asked for. It was obvious they didn’t want me to return. I struggled to find a decent barber, as I moved in the area not too long ago. I am very disappointed to have came here, as I would come to the area often for a kebab or a burger. Now every time I drive past here, I would always feel upset about the experience. I hope someone reading this could maybe be more considerate and equal to all customers.

After doing some research into fades I realised I wasn’t getting the best haircut at my local and was recommended to go to world class barbers Keilor. I was only x2 weeks out from my wedding and world class barbers fixed my fade as well as taking extra care and time with my haircut the day before my wedding. Great atmosphere in the shop as well, you never feel like you are getting rushed. The barbers really care about their work and it shows.

Positive experience: Seem like a good barbers, but I think they need to be a bit more considerate with the type of music they play when primary school age children are in the salon. Quite a few of the rap songs had swearing. I don’t think the elderly gentleman visiting the barber would appreciate it either.

I've had my hair cut 4 times here, every time by someone different and I've always been impressed. Negative experience: RipOff. I walked in and was assigned a barber who clearly was new, perhaps in training. I was fine with that, but he didn't cut properly. I had to remind him to cover all areas but still it was half finished job for which I was charged $50!

Negative experience: I walk in for a haircut and was told that one of the barbers had time. It became clear that he was new (which was ok with me). After a less than average haircut, I was charged $50! It was just a haircut with nothing extra at all!! Very disappointed and would not return there.

Fantastic experience: Today was our first time at World Class Barbers, Centreway East Keilor. My son, Zak had had a bad haircut at another barbers and after reading all the positive reviews on Facebook about World Class Barbers I knew that this was the only business I wanted to take Zak to fix it. Walking into this business we were greeted with a friendly welcome and smile and then Michael created magic. I cannot believe how awesome my sons hair looks. Better than I could imagine. Michael is truly a credit to the Barber industry. He spoke to Zak on his level and shared possibilities of future styles Zak could achieve. You have a client for life. Zak will be your regular number 1 client. May I also say while waiting for Zak to have his hair cut I was blown away by the the exceptional quality of workmanship from the other Barbers working. A true credit to your business.

Negative experience: Me and my 4yo son have had many haircuts in this salon before. They are normally good stylists. My 4 yo son has never ever cried or screamed or made any fuss while getting a haircut. I.e on a barbers chair. But today he was denied a haircut by one of the barber (just don’t want to name him) siting that he had a tough time cutting his hair last time and specifically said that “my son was not good at the chair” in front of my son. Which is untrue because my son has never had an haircut with this barber before. And for a 4 year old , he was pretty good and never made any fuss when he sits on the chair. As a responsible adult, I normally take him back home when I feel that he is not in a good mood or a bit grumpy. But that was never the case. I just felt the barber was very rude and said it direct to my son’s face. I just had to explain my son why he was denied a haircut. If there was any issue, he should have told me that when it happened. But there wasn’t any real issue. He just randomly denied haircut to us. If they don’t want to deal with young kids, then they should not offer services for kids. Just wanted to share our bad experience. Hope they learn to treat all their customers equally with empathy and respect.

Fantastic experience: I was desperate to find a barber due to recently moving into this area, as I’m considered someone who is very picky and cautious about the styling of my hair, always wary of new barbers who claim to be “the best barbers in Melbourne”. But I can tell you right now I’m lucky to have randomly stumbled on World Class Barbers. Upon entering this establishment, I was greeted warmly by Michael who offered to cut my hair. I don’t usually spark a conversation with my barbers although his kindness and calm manner allowed me to feel comfortable. Distracted by the nice conversation I was spun back around to the mirror and amazed by the great work and attention to detail Michael worked on my hair. I was overly impressed and amazed by Michael which has guaranteed me to return every fortnight. After many months of haircuts, the greeting is still welcoming and the work still precise. Michael is never shy to greet newcomers and will spark a lovely conversation, but an excellent barber who will win you over as a pleased customer.

Fantastic experience: Absolute Professionals. Having long hair as a guy your faced with a big dilemma. Most barbers cut s1k fades but can't use scissors & a comb to save their beards. I got absolutely butcherd by another local 'barber shop' and ended up looking like a elderly abandoned rag dog . Gave these guys a call and told them my problem, they hooked me up with Nico who took me in his arms and delivered an exceptional hairdressing experience. I felt like I was Danielson and he was the Mr. Miyagi I was looking for. Sorted me out and walked out of there feeling a million bucks. Over 2 weeks on now since the haircut and it somehow looks even better. Highly recommend this place.

The MOST important part of it all is they are there to listen to what you want and deliver on it. Its a must try.

If you tell him exactly what you want in detail he will deliver no doubt about it. His very passionate about his work and definitely loves putting a smile on people's faces even offering me a cold beverage mid service which I found thoughtful and different. He opens seven days a week which was awesome for me today on a Sunday, cause I had an engagement party and i needed a professional cutting my hair asap. The only downside was that I paid $65 for high taper fade and a beard trim/tidy up. A bit pricey but for a Sunday and a special occasion I thought it was worth it considering he done a fantastic job. Overall great service, really happy with my experience the place has got a 50s touch to it with a modern vibe, it's a tad expensive especially for a hair salon in the west, but would definitely would recommend to anyone on a special occasion and in need of a perfect haircut!
