Fantastic experience: I received a gift voucher for a pamper package which included a facial, Massage and a leg and foot scrub. Jamie the therapist was so professional, excellent with her hands & knowledge. I found her absolutely beautiful, very calming and so very sweet. Her massage technique was excellent and her facial was 10/10. As a previous day spa owner myself I do notice attention to detail. The electric blanket was on when I got into the bed which was so beautiful on a cool day. Everything was extremely clean & the beautiful relaxing music allowed you to completely relax. Congratulations to the owner Trudy for having such a beautiful salon space to be in & also choosing a staff member like Jamie she is definitely a keeper. In this industry there are many places that don't live up to the standards but About Face definitely did for me today which is why I took the time to do this without being asked.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now, and not once have I left disappointed. Every cut is better than the last. Glenn’s my go-to, but everyone there is incredibly skilled, friendly, and just great to be around. The attention to detail and care they put into their work is next level. Even if I didn’t live nearby, I’d still go out of my way to get my hair done here. Hands down, the best salon I’ve ever been to.

Positive experience: I saw this place specialises in Gray hair transitioning. I was asked by the hairdresser what my husband will think of my new look.she also advised me she loves working on colour changes . 4 hours later my hair was darker than when I first walked into the salon. The hairdresser had no idea how to handle my gold colour hair. It was a shame I was not advised this before I was charged $290 without a hair cut ! I am afraid I was a Guinea pig for the inexperienced colourist. The only grey is my colour grow out !

Fantastic experience: I found the facial extremely relaxing and hydrating and Jaime’s techniques were very good.. and the after service discussing my skin needs was outstanding

Negative experience: Don’t go here. When I was debating between getting the keratin treatment or nanoplasty for frizz management I had a consult with one of the hairdressers. I was told the nanoplasty removes 100% of frizz for all hair types guaranteed so I went with that one. Not even 3 weeks later and my hair is back to before. When I spoke to the owner/manager of the place she basically gaslighted me saying that I heard wrong. Absolute waste of time and money especially for a treatment I was told would last 6 - 8 months.

The lady on the phone was super polite and helpful and managed to squeeze me. I had a relaxing experience, Jamie was amazing she did an amazing job with my eyebrows as I had informed her about anxiety due to my past experiences with eyebrow treatments. She took her time, mapped my face, listened and educated me on how to maintain at home. I will be a returning client, next time booking my hair in. Thank you ladies.

Fantastic experience: I was booked in for a pedicure and eyebrow wax with Jaimie and upon arrival I asked if Jaimie had time to squeeze in a leg wax as well. She advised that she didn’t have the time but would see if she could get her boss to do it, which luckily she was. I had an absolutely amazing experience with both women that saw me, they were both incredibly understanding and accommodating as I had brought my baby with me. Initially coming into my appointment I was on edge as I was concerned at how my baby would be during the appointment but both ladies were so incredible about it and so helpful. This was my second appointment at about face and both times I have been there the customer service and atmosphere is like no other salon I’ve been to. This salon is truly an asset to the community and I cannot recommend about face enough, unlike any salon I’ve been to you can tell that they truly care about their customers.

I booked in a spa day for a close friend of mine; massage, facial, hair wash, blow dry and pedicure. I was probably a bit too pedantic as I called them multiple times over the coming week asking them general queries about their services and asking they please ensure my friends comfort. Each time I called they were polite and attentive. My friend said she had an amazing experience, she was pampered and made to feel very valued as a client. My friend is very sensitive to massages but she said her time with Jaimie felt so relaxing and her body felt better after it. Jaimie was very kind and eased her nerves. She left with gorgeous hair, and said her head massage from Glen actually helped the headache she initially had before her appointment. He was very professional and experienced in his craft. She couldn't have said more positive things! She left feeling great Thank you again! Would definitely recommend.

I came here initially with a few concerns with my hair colouring from a previous foiling elsewhere - from the get go Trudy was nothing short of amazing with her recommendations about setting about fixing it. Brooke has done my hair three times now, and it is nothing short of a pleasure coming in. The staff are amazing, professional and remember all the details. Brooke does an incredible job with the foiling, and I always end up LOVING the end result (plus she’s such a delight chatting to throughout the several hours it takes!). Negative experience: Zero star review I recently had a disappointing experience with the customer service at about face hair. I encountered several issues that left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. Firstly, asking for a deposit is completely fine however taking the $50 deposit from me due to needing to reschedule my appointment due to being pregnant in my eyes isn’t fair. The attitude was dismissive and unhelpful from the staff member, which I was also called mate. What is more important, trying to make a quick $50 or having a return customer for life. Overall, my interaction with the customer service team at was extremely disappointing and has left me with a negative impression of the company. I will never go to your company ever again !

Georgia is so knowledgeable, everyone was so pleasant, salon is gorgeous, it took about 4 hours to strip off my old colours & get full head of foils, cut & blowdry. Honestly, it didn’t seem that long & the whole process was not harsh on my hair/scalp. I whave already booked my next appointment & i higly recommend this saon. It wasn’t expensive either.
