Negative experience: I attempted to make a booking online for a spray tan with this business and an error message kept appearing. I phoned today to ask if they could assist with making this booking and the owner answered. I was told I had been blocked from booking online as I had repeatedly had to cancel the day before. The only time I hadn’t cancelled prior, I sent my daughter in my place. I explained to her that I have been extremely unwell, in and out of hospital to have surgery but evidently the owner is missing an empathy gene. I had also provided this information each time I contacted the salon. In addition to this, the owner stated that they have missed other bookings because of this, and that now I am only ‘allowed’ to book the day of. Then in the next sentence said they always have plenty of available time slots, which is a complete contradiction for the purpose of the blocking. This negative experience could have been avoided by reaching out to have a conversation with me. But likely this wouldn’t have helped as even after explaining my situation - there was no offer to retract my ‘ban’. If you like to support businesses who are focuses on the customer experience - avoid Complete Skin & Beauty at Springfield!

Negative experience: End of my eyebrow was waxed off and they don't match. For $44 I was expecting a better job. Staff were nice, maybe need some extra training.

Negative experience: I accidentally booked with this organisation after searching for a local business. Sneaky Google advertising led me to believe I had clicked on the business I was searching for. I was then told I needed to place a deposit to secure the appointment. Very strange. Once I realised I had booked with the wrong business I requested to cancel the booking and have the deposit refunded (I live hours away from this location). As a senior citizen, every dollar is important to me. I phoned the Springfield Complete Skin & Beauty store before my appointment time to cancel and request the refund. I was told they could not do that and I would need to be phoned by the manager. The manager did phone me only to let me know only the owner can issue a refund and that I would receive a call back from the owner to help. This never happened. I was never reimbursed.

Negative experience: I've been coming here for over 5 years to get my eyebrows waxed and I used to love it but within the past year I've been extremely disappointed with my treatments. I found out last year that I had seborrheic dermatitis that especially affects my eyebrow area. I made sure I updated my medical form at Complete so that they knew about my condition and the medications that I was taking just in case it affected my eyebrow wax. For the past year since I updated my form, the skin under my eyebrows has been ripped off after every wax. The workers asked me if I was on any new products (which you would think that they would be aware of given the fact that I had updated my form and was asked to complete a new form every single time I went in) and I told them what products I was using. It didn't matter what person was waxing my brows, the skin was ripped off every single time. When I came to the register to pay, it was as if my red eye brows and obviously damaged skin was a joke to the owner Rebecca. Every time without fail she would laugh about my red and ripped skin and would joke about how I was so red which is just plain rude and inappropriate for the salon OWNER to do. My last wax was on the 19th of April and my skin was so badly ripped underneath my brows that it was scabbed up and took over a week to heal (picture below). After that, I decided that enough was enough and I headed to Ella Bache for a wax and my experience was great, I had no skin under my brows ripped off and it didn't even look red an hour after I got it done. The salon owner Rebecca is the most uninformed owner that I have ever seen who clearly doesn't even know her own booking system. When making a double appointment, you can enter the name of the first person but the second person appears as 'Person 2' and it doesn't give you the option to change the name. Every time my mother and I would go in, Rebecca would make a big deal about the fact that I hadn't entered in my name as Person 2 when it doesn't even give you the option to! And every time we would go in, I would have to fill in a new form as if I was a new customer, even though I have been going to this salon every few months for FIVE YEARS. Not to mention that they make you wait almost 30 minutes AFTER the start of your appointment time before you actually get in. The fact that the skin under my eyebrows was ripped out every single time over the period of a year is just disgusting and plain negligence on the salon's part (pictures below). It makes you wonder if they even take a glance at your medical or prescription information. I won't be coming back here ever again.
