Positive experience: I finished my Invisalign over the course of a year and my teeth still aren’t straight. I was given a permanent retainer after I finished my trays to wear only at night but my teeth still aren’t straight, they constantly wobble and hurt. I’ve since been back to explain all of this and they didn’t really seem to care and said I would need to spend more money to fix the issue (after I’ve already spent thousands).

Fantastic experience: If you are contemplating braces or Invisalign and trying to decide if Fresh Smiles might be suitable for you or your child, please consider an appointment (you won’t be disappointed). I was hesitant to begin with as my son had a few sensory worries but throughout the whole journey the Fresh Smiles team have been understanding, supportive and kind. Today the braces journey came to an end - his confidence has already increased over these past two years from straighter teeth, corrected overbite and gaps gone (all thanks to the teams planning). They are still there for appointments and ongoing support with the retainer, we have not had one negative experience at all and only positive things to say. Highly recommend using this business.

Negative experience: Experienced great service and had a great relationship with Dr. Scott (the previous owner) of Fresh Smiles. But unfortunately I found Vanessa to be very hard to deal with. I had various problems with my dental treatment. Experiencing double jaw surgery (with a separate surgeon that worked alongside Fresh Smiles - He was a fantastic surgeon but Fresh Smiles was questionable in their approach.) I had to get re alignment done with Fresh Smiles because of their miscalculations with Invisalign. I was then put onto braces on my bottom teeth which was never discussed. As well as getting a tooth pulled out because of their miscalculations. I understand that things can not always go to plan with dental treatments but I found the way that Fresh Smiles handled this was not with professionalism and I would not recommend them.

Negative experience: I left this place feeling hurt and overwhelemed. the staff were quite disrespectful and rude. The staff were very inappropriate and in having their convosations, refrencing topics that are NOT child ppropriate. I am NEVER coming back! (and it smells funny)

Fantastic experience: Fresh Smiles has helped me throughout the years on my journey towards fixing my teeth and overbite. They always were happy to help when things went wrong like a broken wire or loose bracket and found time for me to come in at late notice. Vanessa has a wealth of knowledge and has been able to work with my jaw surgeon to guide my recovery and bite alignment perfectly. Definitely recommend!!

Negative experience: Go to AESTHETIC DENTAL. Fresh smiles only care about how much money they can make from you. I paid over $8,000 for treatment. For the same length of treatment my friend paid $3,000 with Aesthetic. I have been told my teeth are straight, there is nothing more they can do and my case is closed. My teeth are not straight and they can absolutely do more. I had a friend use Aesthetic dental and they have bent over backwards to ensure she is happy with the outcome. Aesthetic dental give extra retainers. I asked Fresh Smiles for another set of retainers, however would not. They are all about $$$$

Negative experience: I have been a patient of this practice for many years under Dr. Scott (old practice owner), during which my Invisalign resulted in an open bite on my front teeth (front teeth do not touch + inability to bite food and close my jaw comfortably). Under Dr. Scott, I had been continuing treatment in order to close this open bite. I was offered bite blocks and free continuation of my paid treatment (of either more Invisalign or traditional braces) to fix this bite issue. This is the plan I have been undergoing for the last few years. As of last year, the practice changed ownership from Dr. Scott to Dr. Hawkins. Dr. Hawkins, from the very first appointment, refused to acknowledge my ONGOING treatment already in place, and told me I must pay $500 for bite block replacements that I am currently using (which used to be provided to me as part of my treatment with Dr. Scott), and also asked for an additional payment of approx. $5000 for me to discard my old (currently ONGOING) treatment and begin a NEW treatment under Dr. Hawkins. My bite blocks (used daily) are broken and no longer in a safe condition; I was in the middle of my treatment hoping to advance to the next stage with either more Invisalign or traditional braces to finally close my bite, so have no normal retainers to return to. My old treatment is entirely discarded under this new management, and I am feeling very hopeless and worried for the state of my teeth. After almost 3 MONTHS of back and forth, there has been zero advancement of the issue. The lack of communication between Dr. Hawkins and Dr. Scott regarding my treatment case and the resulting issues this has caused has been pushed onto my shoulders as the patient. I am at an honest lost for words at the absurdity of this issue, and the way this practice is handling it. This practice’s values are clearly shown through this messy situation. Be wary coming here for your orthodontics treatment, who knows what may happen to your treatment plan when things get hairy in the management side of the practice.

But at Fresh Smiles the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The practice is one of the best and my experiences have and still are nothing short of amazing. Dr Craig Scott and all his staff are the most professional, knowledgeable, patient and friendliest people you'll come across. The office is clean, well run and organized and appointments are always on time. Although it's always SUPER BUSY, the staff take the time to explain things through properly and answer any questions and you never feel rushed. I highly recommend Fresh Smiles. 10/10 I couldn’t be happier with my service.

Positive experience: Fresh Smiles Orthodontist in Belmont are a GREAT Clinic (if u can afford them..) - My niece has Hypoplasia & TMJ & this was the 1st Clinic that could show us & explain Exactly how everything occurred/formed(or deformed) & walked us through from beginning 2 end of treatment)!! Really friendly understanding staff & Dr Craig is exceptionally easy 2 talk 2..!! REALLY liked dealing w/them! The only problem i had with Fresh Smiles was how does a "normal average" family afford an extra $220 - $300@mth over 24mths - as well as $1400- up front fee 4 Braces & then the upfront surgical fees for a separate Dentist to remove 4 teeth..?? Surely they could lower the fees a little or extend the repayment period..?? Would ❤ 2 be able 2 give them 5 's & stay with them throughout treatment but honestly can't afford 2 at the moment (& can't afford 2 put her treatment on hold either) we've had 3 other quotes that all were at least a $1000- cheaper. I understand they are a specialist clinic but all orthodontists "should" have the same program's & we should have found out all this year's ago... or at least 1 of the many orthodonists/orthodontic surgeons/or even a normal dentist or doctor "should" have picked up something more... but if u have the $$ 2 spare I highly recommend Dr.Craig (Fresh Smiles Orthodontics)
