Fantastic experience: I have had numerous Consultations and Procedures with Arthur over the years . I have found him very professional, personable , thorough and a good communicator. He has provided options when available and identified the pros and cons of intervention for various conditions. My surgery was tricky but it was a successful outcome. His team were also friendly and endeavoured to make my experience as stress free as possible.

Fantastic experience: Dr Arthur Bilski was an absolute pleasure. My son had to have 8 teeth removed due to overcrowding (4 wisdom not through the gums and 4 molars). He was kind, considerate of our requirements for surgery, supportive of both my son and myself and also gave great post op care. I cannot fault him. My son had a great outcome, minimal post op pain, and any questions or concerns we had were answered and listened too.

Fantastic experience: Dr Bilski and the team really looked after my son who had his 4 wisdom teeth out. Being a very nervous patient he was made to feel very relaxed and comfortable. Dr Bilski and the staff took the time to explain the procedure as did Dr Miller (the Anaesthetist). Everyone was so caring. The pain was managed very well with a good recovery. St Vincent’s hospital staff were great went over and above for us. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Dr Arthur Bilski is such a warm and kind human who practices with the highest level of professionalism. His ability to make you feel safe and confident in his care is shown through his calm manner and does not rush through the appointment. He takes the time to provide a very clearly explanation of what is happening during your visit. A professional at this high level can often forget how to connect to their patients, but this is not the case in his practice. The other staff members were always smiling and warm on both occasions during my visits, which to me shows a practice that is functioning on respect and professionalism as a whole. Fantastic experience: Dr Bilski showed the utmost care at all levels of my dealings with him. He explained things in detail and was patient with any questions I had. The operation itself was over before I knew it - really! This my family's second procedure with Dr Bilksi, he took out 3 of my 17 year old son's wisdom teeth a few years ago and the care and professionalism he showed my son at that time made the choice easy when it came to a tricky extraction for myself. I cannot recommend Dr Bilski highly enough, he inspires confidence, is precise and highly skilled and if you're nervous at all, his easy going manner will put you at ease in no time. And thanks also to Sarah who assisted on the day and the reception team for your help and calm efficiency. All in all, a wonderful team!

Fantastic experience: A number of my friends had previously visited Dr Bilski, and they all gave glowing accounts of their experiences with him and his work. However, none of that could measure up to my experience. He is so professional and explained my situation in a manner that was easy for me to comprehend. Apart from his professional approach, he is one of the loveliest people you could ever meet. He radiates a level of personal charm that is indeed rare. He made me feel that he deeply cared about me and the issue for which I was referred. His staff also radiate joy and goodwill and together with Dr Bilski they made me feel very much at ease at a time when I was feeling very anxious.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this practice some years ago now for review of a long-standing problem and subsequently by my Dentist for a necessary and urgent surgical intervention carried out by Dr Arthur Bilski. The review of the long-standing problem was thorough and included appropriate physical examination and history-taking and use of contemporary technology to define the problem and record baseline for future review. Clear options for management were discussed with pros and cons and while surgical intervention was a possibility there was no push from Dr Bilski to pursue this option. It was clear from the outset that he took a 'conservative' approach to patient management consistent with my own philosophy with regard to the way medicine should be practiced: do no harm. That approach to my long-standing problem has proven its worth and I am very satisfied with my management and outcomes. With regard to the separate, urgent, surgical intervention Dr Bilski saw me at the request of my dentist on the same day and again gave me carefully-explained options for treatment. I was awake for the procedure which was handled with great skill and quick resolution. I remain impressed to this day with his surgical skill and 'bedside' manner. I have always found Dr Bilski and his staff approachable and friendly and my experience of his surgery and the consultation process has always been very positive and without apprehension on my part. Setting patients at ease would seem to be an important feature of this practice. Dr Bilski provides reports to the referring doctor in a timely fashion and I know that he consults well with them if required. I have recommended him to others requiring his specialist knowledge and expertise who have also been very pleased with his treatment and management of their problems.

Fantastic experience: I had a wisdom tooth removed under Local and this was an elegant and professional procedure from making the appointment to receiving the tooth in a small container. Dr Bilski not only has a huge experience with maxillo-facial and dental surgery but he is also gentle and careful in his work. I'm very grateful to him and his team for their help!

Fantastic experience: I recently had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed as well as 2 jaw cysts on both sides of my lower jaw 1 month ago. Prior to the operation I was extremely nervous that I could end up with a broken jaw, bits of bone still left in my gums, loss of sensation due to nerve damage in the delicate parts of the jaw, and or dying under anaesthesia, quite paranoid, I know! I was absolutely pleased with my recovery and post operative care I was given. Pre surgery 20 minutes before Dr Bilski calmed my mind with his sense of humour and sincerely professionally driven ethos to do the best he can. I never write google reviews, but I think it's really important that for anyone else who is getting their wisdom teeth out to see Dr Bilski as there are many other dentists in the Northern Rivers that are not as qualified as him and risk doing a lot of damage to their patients. I mean for crying out loud, for example, the man works on major reconstructive operations for people in really awful automobile accidents, so wisdom teeth removal is a walk in the park for him. Negative experience: My experience with Dr A. Bilski and Northern Rivers Oral & Maxillo-Facial Surgery was absolutely disgusting!!! I had 4 wisdom teeth removed under general anaesthetic at St Vincent's Hospital come out of the operation my care was from the nurses was appalling, 4 days later I had a staph infection come up on my leg. I had to see my gp everyday after my surgery because I experienced Extreme nerve damage and the pain was unbearable.... my gp was mortified by the surgeons request not to see my for 3 weeks after my surgery, I now have a massive infection in my month..... and they wanted to ship the blame to my gp and said maybe he should of referred me back to them. Close $5000 I spent to be treated with so much disrespect and to come out worse than before I went in!!!! I do STRONGLY advise to stay away from this surgery take your self to QLD OR SYDNEY! No one deserves to be treated like this. Absolutely disgusting care!!
