Negative experience: Went to Class 1 as they were considered at the time a top provider of invisalign, my original orthodontist was Dr Naomi and she was amazing you could tell she cared about your treatment and always addressed any concerns, but I was changed to a different doctor half way through my treatment and from there found to be rushed and without much care. My last appointment wasn’t a chance to consider further trays or even a suitable form of retainer but more so a wrap it up and goodbye. I did give feedback about this and was scheduled for another appointment but left again still unsatisfied as even concerns in my feedback weren’t addressed, not usually a complainer but the financial commitment that invisalign is, you would hope for a high standard even if it isn’t the “perfectionist” standard as claimed on the website.

Fantastic experience: Always great service and results for my three kids at Class1 Orthodontics

Negative experience: I needed braces for my kid but was offered an expensive mouthguard to wear for a year, which was useless, and, in the end, the dentist said the kid needed braces. waste of time and money.

Fantastic experience: I got recommended to this Orthodontist from Michelle Gale. I haven't looked back. It has been 3 years going to Class 1 Orthodontics with my grandson. They have done an excellent job with his upper teeth. My grandson had a great smile but, now, it just glimmers. Those straight pearly whites have done wonders for his self esteem. All the Orthodontists that have seen my grandson have been awesome. I'd like to thank them for the great work they have done.

Positive experience: Overall, it is a good experience with Class 1. I am happy with the result and the fact that the process to get my teeth straightened is faster than what they promised. However, sometimes I feel a bit frustrated with the fact that it is very hard to reschedule or even schedule appointments in the first place. It seems like whatever time they suggested is the only time available. If i need to reschedule an appointment, I have to wait for another month or two, which I find not a good enough option. So as a customer, you ended up being the one providing class1 to choose whatever time they can do it even if you have to compromise with your work commitments. There are times when it is difficult to be in touch with the clinics too because no one would pick up the call. They just put you in the waiting line and then in the end asked you to leave a voicemail. What if this is for a cancellation of my appointment in the next 20mins?

Fantastic experience: We’ve recently started orthodontic treatment with Class1 and are already so impressed with the service. All the staff are so kind and sweet to my 7 year old. We are regional customers and have been told most of our treatment can be done remotely via an app which is great given we live 450km away. So far, cannot fault the impeccable service.

Positive experience: Its easy to send scans of invisalign on the app but the down side is you won't see the orthodentist through out the treatment course which is not good as other staff are not expert in what they do

Fantastic experience: Two of my children have had braces through Class 1 orthodontics and I couldn’t fault anything. Appointments are always on time, staff and orthodontists lovely, treatment plans and results have been amazing. Both my children have needed a lot of correction with jaw shape and teeth position. We travel from northern suburbs into Perth just to attend Class 1 as they’ve been so good.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting customer service had my treatment suddenly cancelled with no prior warning because my orthodontist Dr Nida did not value finishing my treatment and had gotten most of my money already. Spent $8000 and had my treatment cancelled and told my options were 1. keep my teeth as is or 2. see another orthodontist at new cost. Completely impossible to book an appointment as no one answers the phone. Press 1 if you are an existing patient press 3 for west perth and then wait to be hung up on every time. Dealing with multiple orthodontists who are telling me different things. Have had appointments mistakenly booked where I’ve come in and had nothing done then been told to come again days later with no apology or explanation. Was told by my treatment coordinator that they’d asked for extractions back in July which is a complete lie as I was only told two weeks ago. Absolute joke of a clinic that does not value its patients whatsoever besides fleecing them of their money. I’m left with unfinished treatment and the options of paying thousands again to a new orthodontist or keeping my teeth crooked. Horrible and shameless extremely unprofessional did not feel like I was valued during my whole treatment.

Dr. Orloff and his team did everything in their power to accommodate me and allow me to carry on with my treatment. Fantastic experience: Friendly and helpful staff, made the whole process of getting braces really simple and painless for my daughter. Even with lockdowns and closures due to Covid, we still managed to get our treatment done in our original timeframe.

Negative experience: Had to pickup new retainers for my girlfriend. Open until 17 which is great, and turn up at 01:20 and get the reply that we are at lunch until 02:00 in person. But you can have a seat and wait.... Seriously...... Either you are open or closed and not let your customers hang out to dry.

Negative experience: For anybody reading Google reviews, don’t make the same mistake I made. Maybe times have changed for this organisation. This would be without doubt my worst orthodontist experience. Customer service is zero, phone rings out, nobody responds to messages. If you have an emergency you are on your own. Like someone here wrote once they have your money, you are on your own. A overpriced service. At least 50% mark up on a service and when you ask why you get an arrogant response (because we can approach without any comparative analysis information to justify). Don’t expect for your clinical questions to be answered, all they are interested in is discussing the quote. Recommend you get a second opinion.

Positive experience: Dr Naomi and the entire team at Thelma Street West Perth are exceptional. My whole experience in the last year that I have been here has been nothing but excellent. Their customer service and customer care is warm, genuine and professional. Every member on staff goes out of their way to ensure you are taken care of, comfortable and satisfied. I am blind, and they have made sure that I am safely supported from my taxi cab to their clinic and back to my taxi cab. I was switched from invisalign to traditional braces due to a tooth falling out from an accidental break for only a small one-off fee easy done! They are honest and kind and Dr Naomi and her team even saved my finger by removing my ring with a drill!! Long story. And I wasn’t charged for that or lost my appointment! Huge thank you to everyone at class one orthodontics and I highly recommend this dental clinic. They truly care about your goals, journey and results with affordable options.

My older son had a palatal expander, 3 years ago, which went well and now we are back for our younger son. Cannot fault the service, yet again. Professional and friendly. Everything was explained clearly

The doctor and her assistant were brilliant in examining my daughter's case and explaining all the options, pros and cons. Very honest, professional and caring professionals.

Negative experience: Every appointment I have had to take my daughter to has been at a time when I have had to take time off work and pull my daughter out of school. Not once, for our monthly or by-monthly appointments in a year and a half have they had an appointment available before or after school hours. They don't tell you this when you pay upfront and are then locked in.....

Negative experience: Horrible customer service, the receptionist needs to get fired. Had a consultation booked for 9am, arrived and was rejected for the consultation as she told us we NEEDED an x ray done for a QUOTE. We had just moved from Sydney and did not have time in the 2 days to book an xray. She did not apologize and gave us attitude and was extremely rude.

Fantastic experience: Both my boys have been to Class 1 Orthodontics in West Perth. My eldest for braces and my youngest for a palette expander. We have always found the service to be excellent, right from the Dentist, Dental nurses/assistances to Reception. Everyone is so friendly. My youngest son has Down syndrome, so dental can be challenging for him, but he is so relaxed & at ease at Class 1 Orthodondics. We are very happy with the service

Fantastic experience: Having not received orthodontics as a young person my teeth gradually became very tightly jammed together, some moving forward and others back. I found it difficult to floss and was concerned about developing gum disease. I thought I was too old to have orthodontics ( past 50) but they reassured me they could fix my problem. I now have just completed my treatment and my mouth feels so much more comfortable and looks amazing. I can now floss easily as well.

Always professional, and very accommodating. Dr.Chris Orloff is also a funny character; him together with all of his lovely teams actually makes going to the appointments fun. PS.
