Fantastic experience: I’m so glad I went here for my gum graft. I was really nervous about getting the procedure done and was shopping around for my options. I almost went overseas to save money! But after reading the reviews of Lumiere, and how they’ve fixed dodgy work from overseas I decided to come here. The team were lovely, attentive and really passionate about their work. They assured my anxieties and made me comfortable with numbing needles and oral sedation. I’m not going to require a second surgery that I was quoted on my other clinics because of the excellence done! The aftercare instructions were really clear and is key to a successful recovery for my gum graft. They’re not magicians you still need to put in the work to take care of your smile afterwards :)

Fantastic experience: I had all four of my wisdom teeth extracted with oral sedation where I was treated to the best possible care and assurance which had definitely helped ease with my anxiety going into the procedure. Throughout the procedure Dr Ahmed and his team would check in and assure me so that I wasn’t in any discomfort or pain. The whole entire procedure was quick and I was given the best post-op care from him and the entire team. Dr Ahmed and his team even made sure to contact me the next day to check in on my condition and check that everything was healing ok Over all my wisdom teeth extraction was quick and with little to no pain or discomfort where there care prior, during and post was amazing! Fantastic experience: I’ve been referred to Dr Ahmed for a full mouth rehabilitation . I had previously 4 implants which caused me a lot of infection and pain and needed to come out . Dr Ahmed planed to take them out and restore the full top and bottom set of teeth on implants . He placed 13 implants in total and I am really happy with the whole process from start to finish . The surgery was done all in one go and was suprised how easy the planning and surgery went . He used top technology to help make it very straightforward and simplified. I now have all my teeth and can’t thank Dr Ahmed and his team enough for there efforts and excellent work ! Couldn’t recommend them enough .

Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Ahmed for an infected tooth that was unfortunately close to my sinus. After being referred to him from another dentist for the management of this issue, I was impressed by his thorough approach. Fantastic experience: I had problem with a couple of teeth that were going on to the point where I had very serious infections and damage to my upper jaw. Dr Ahmed and his team took me through what was happening and also how it was possible to fix the problems with grafts and dental implants. Despite the infections and damage, the treatment was a complete success. Dr Ahmed is of the highest quality and I'd definitely recommend him and his team.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Ahmad yesterday. I was in so much pain the night before and he managed to fit me into his busy day! He diagnosed the very unusal issue and performed a tricky root canal on my front tooth. Today I woke up with no pain. Credit to Dr Ahmad for his work and also his bedside manner to make sure I was comfortable and wasn’t in pain during the procedure. I would recommend him to everyone I know for their dental work.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ahmed and the team have been awesome. I’ve been visiting this practice for the last few years and with his expertise and following his advice I’ve avoided any dental surgery. I can’t speak highly enough of this practice. The fact that I travel from Canberra because the quality and care provided is second to none is a testament to level of service provided. Fantastic experience: Dr Ahmad is a consummate professional who is an expert in his field. He is a skilful and intelligent dentist who is very thorough, clean and neat in the work he does. With myself being a very anxious and nervous patient I was well taken care of with continuous reassurance that I was okay in addition to providing stories to distract me to make me feel more comfortable. Within minutes, 27 to be exact and two of my wisdom teeth being a surgical extraction 4 wisdom teeth were extracted and I had never felt more relieved. In record time my teeth were out and stitched up ready for a speedy recovery. With his lovely staff assisting me in the after care following the surgery, they made sure I understood what I had to do to limit and manage the pain afterwards. Overall what I thought would be a terrifying procedure was made comfortable and easy and I couldn't recommend anyone better than doctor Ahmad and his lovely staff who look after their patients with their sincere care as much as they do. Thank you for a stress less experience. You guys are truely the best of the best :)

Fantastic experience: Had serious gum disease, doctor Ahmed looked after me very well and also helped looked after my wisdom teeth extraction !! Very good behavior too

Negative experience: Went to Ahmed to complete dental work on several occasions. Have had to re-do all the dental work including 1 implant and 2 root canals as they were completed incorrectly. Mr Ahmed refused to acknowlege the issues or redo the work or provide a refund i have been completely out of pocket re-doing everything. Further to that when approached about the pain on the dental implant Ahmed tried to convince me it was the tooth behind it and we had to book in an urgent surgery to fix it and he needed a deposit that day or he couldn't secure my booking. After seeking several other opinions the issue was infact from the initial implant. Be very cautious attending this clinic and the 5 star reviews with im detailed dental rhetoric written by "patients".

Fantastic experience: I recently had a gum graft procedure performed by Dr. Elkhatib at Lumiere Dental and Implants Centre, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care I received. I was about to embark on five months of travel when I urgently needed the procedure, and Dr. Elkhatib got me in just in time, which was a huge relief. Throughout the procedure, Dr. Elkhatib was extremely reassuring and professional. He clearly explained what to expect and made me feel confident that everything would go smoothly. The procedure itself went well, and I believe it has saved my front four teeth from encountering significant issues in the future. Even while I was traveling, Dr. Elkhatib maintained excellent communication. He allowed me to send regular photo updates of the healing process, and he was always prompt in his feedback, which really helped me stay on top of my recovery. While the cost of the procedure was on the higher side for me at 25, it’s understandable given the technical skill and expertise required for such a complex treatment. I feel it was a worthwhile investment in the long-term health of my teeth and gums. There is still a small amount of room for the graft to rise a bit more for full symmetry, but overall, I’m satisfied the with the outcome. Fantastic experience: I found Dr Ahmed through google research and have had over 10 procedures done with him including gum and bone grafts and implants to fix 9 teeth. He and his team have been exceptionally professional in their patient care. Their treatment was planned well with the order of operations, risks and benefits well communicated. Throughout this process Dr Ahmed and his team were patient and understanding, allowing me to feel very supported through the whole process. Each detail was explained well and even had comprehensive care after hours in case I had any issues. After each operation he followed up with me, ensuring to call me in case of any complications and checking in on how I was going. I would definitely recommend him to other patients. I would also like to include some tips for others prior and after operations. Before the operation: I would take vitamin D, fish oil and multivitamins for a few days before. I also found it helpful to maintain an exercise routine and good diet prior to each operation to ensure enough protein and nutrition. On the day it was also helpful to have a large cup of warm water and a big nutritious breakfast to maintain energy through the day. After the operation: I prioritised rest rather than device use for the first 2 days. After 2 days, gentle massage with fingers helped promote blood flow. By chopping foods finely this helped me maintain my vegetable and nutrition intake. I also continued exercise as normal shortly after. To treat the stomach upset from taking antibiotics, I consulted my GP who recommended Esomeprazole which greatly helped with the side effects. Thank you to Dr Ahmed and his team for all their help and care!

Fantastic experience: My journey with Dr Ahmed started one year ago after having two fractured teeth leading to major infections and bone loss. I was quite distressed because I was mistreated by previous dentists and it was extremely painful and the infection was spreading. Fantastic experience: I came to Dr Elkhatib with my top teeth suffeting from a gum disease and falling teeth. Ahmed suggested a full mouth reconstruction by installing 6 implants.and also needed a bone graft and nasal sinus lift. Dr Elkhatib explained the treatment in details and was very professional in his approach. Ahmed was able ro put my mind in ease despite how complex the job is as i required advanced surgery. Fantastic experience: One of the best dental experiences i had was with Dr Ahmed I had a missing botton left tooth which requited an advanced bone and gum reconstruction before installing a dental implant, the surgery went great and healing was uneventful, The doctor managed to place the dental implant, the bone and gum graft in one procedure which I?? I referred my mum to have a large reconstructive surgery done and my father to have implants placed in an area of barely any bone . Fantastic experience: After attending my yearly Dental clean, the Dentist recommended I get an X-ray as my wisdom teeth are growing in the wrong Direction. It was soon identified it would be best to extract all 4 wisdom teeth. I was recommended Dr Ahmed at Lumiere Dental as a surgeon to extract my wisdom teeth, given the complexity. He explained the process step by step and was able to extract all 4 wisdom teeth in the chair at his surgery. He re-assured me ease and peace of mind. Fantastic experience: I came to Dr Elkhatib complaining of pain in of my teeth. I have had multiple cavities and old root canal done in past and unfortunately the treatment done previously didn’t last. Dr Elkhatib formulated a treatment plan which included removing bad teeth and restoring with crowns. He made sure I kept most of my teeth for crown and bridge rehabilitation. Dr Elkhatib was very professional and explained every step in details. I now have the final crowns and very happy with the work by Dr Elkhatib I highly recommend for anyone who is looking for best quality and great team delivering excellent service.

Fantastic experience: Extremely pleasant experience with Dr. Ahmed for my partner’s root canal, crown fitting and periodontal therapy. Her posterior teeth was damaged with two pins many years ago and started to ache recently. Dr. Ahmed did a perfect root canal to save the teeth, and a crown was fitted beautifully afterwards, without any complications. Dr. Ahmed also performed an incredible periodontal therapy for my partner to treat her gums, which have been bleeding for many many years. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr ahmed in regards to my 6 year old brother tooth rotated inside in the upper jaw . The tooth was not out yet and rotated my brothers front tooth almost 270 degrees . With the consultation , Dr Ahmed explained the rare positioning of this extra tooth and the surgery required to go ahead to take it out . My brother had gas and felt so comfortable during the surgery despite his age . He removed the tooth so quickly and effortlessly despite it being in the jaw completely and reassured my mum and brother the entire time . Fantastic experience: I am just so pleased to give my review for Dr Ahmed Elkhatib. I have been his patient since 2013 when he commenced his practice in Park Street. Like most of us I have been a nervous wreck when visiting my dentist in the past however Dr Ahmed's skill with technology, his caring manner and high level of professionalism soon put me at ease. He is above all a delightful human being. His assistants Sam and Andrea add to the mix with their expertise and friendly manner. The dental suite is well set up and a view over Hyde Park aids in relaxation. My first major work involved necessary preparationy work for six upper mouth implants including scans, root work and the final job completed around June 2014. Dr Ahmed's follow up calls at home to check on progress eased the stress and the final result of a beaming smile says it all! I have routine oral examinations but in 2020 snapped part of an upper back tooth necessitating surgery for removal of tooth fragment and removal of bone and tooth division. Again success and a job well done. Dr Ahmed is a master clinician in Implantology and I can sure vouch for that! I have a further appointment in a few months for removal of amalgam which has caused issues and again Dr Ahmed to the rescue. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Dr Ahmed. Such wonderful expertise and care.

Fantastic experience: I came to see Dr Ahmed after seeing several dental specialists in Queensland that could not fix the issue I had with my gum behind my front teeth. After having a terrible experience with multiple VERY well known orthodontists & cosmetic dentists in Sydney and Brisbane, I was desperate for help and met with Dr. Elkatihb in his humble Sydney clinic. After going through so many hoops and being lied and manipulated to by money hungry people (who’s names can’t be mentioned) Dr Elkhatib was a breath of fresh air. He was clear, caring and to the point. On day 1, He intentified my issues & did exactly why needed to be done, which 3 doctors before him failed to do over months. He gave me a very reasonable price, with no stupid extras that I didn’t need. Not to mention the results were almost instant and exactly as promised. He is so knowledgeable in his field. In my whole life I have never experienced such amazing service from any business. He truly went above and beyond even helping me with a legal case against previous drs work, out of his work hours, for no extra charge. Not to mention all the other staff are so friendly and inviting. Make sure you do your research and don’t fall for the glamour and promise of celebrity dentists and ‘COSMETIC DENTISTS.’ Orthodontics is the only way to go. And although he may not be Instagram famous, Dr Elkhatib is the very BEST. Veneers are a forever commitment and overall mouth health is so much more important than people realise. I learned that the hard way but I am forever greatful to have had his help, and now have the best orthodontist I can rely on going foward.

Fantastic experience: I did 3 bone grafts in August 2021 with Dr. Ahmed after reading a lot of positive reviews in Google. My dentist had actually referred me to different Dental Surgeon, but I decided to do my own research to find the best Dental Surgeon in Sydney. Three months after bone grafting with Dr Ahmed, the gum and bones are in extremely good condition, and I have 2 of the new crown put in place. One of the tooth was really in infected condition, and Dr Ahmed identified and treated it really well. Fantastic experience: I had my implants done overseas which was a failure and had to redo the implants and gum graft which was a very complicated treatment. Fantastic experience: Dr Ahmed was recommended to me by a friend. From the first visit, i felt he was knowledgeable, experienced and most of all honest. He explained my dental issues and possible options. Once I decided what is the right option for me, he was very thorough in explaining details of the surgery, recovery, follow ups and cost. The lovely staff at the dental centre were caring and approachable, which made it easy. I had to have dental implants surgery including bone grafting, sinus grafting and gum surgery. Fantastic experience: I came to Dr Ahmed as I was recommended to go and see him by my friend. Since I got in the centre all stuff (assistant & receptionist) were very nice and warmly. I had an infected tooth which is affecting my sinus and caused me to have blocked right side of my nose. Dr Ahmed explained in details my current situation via pictures and three dimensional X-ray.. and I was explained what I would need to get done and been given all options to remove the infection and restore the tooth. It was very important to me to be fully aware of all my options and the details of the procedures. I chose to get the tooth taken out and get a dental implant. So This option entailed a tooth extraction, dental implant ,sinus graft/bone graft and a gum graft as tooth shows when I smile. Surgery went excellent and I didn’t have any complications.(minimal to no discomfort and minimal swelling )Dr Ahmed avoided doing a full on sinus surgery (which would require many other following steps )by doing a key hole surgery through the extracted tooth ,managed to remove the infection and placed the implant and all grafts successfully all in same session! Dr Ahmed made sure I was always ok during the whole process specially after the surgery and was a phone call away. The whole staff are very friendly and always felt at ease and well looked after at all the stages of the procedure. I have now received my final implant crown and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Being someone who scared of dentists and gone through a complex implant surgery I would highly recommend Dr Ahmed for any complex dental and restoration work. He managed to deliver what he promised. Fantastic experience: Having over crowded teeth I had an impacted curved root wisdom tooth that ran along a nerve. Dr Ahmed was able to remove the tooth easily in under ten minutes with very minimal cuts involved. Was a much better experience in comparison to other dentists I’ve been to who took over an hour to take out a similar tooth. I had very short healing time afterwards and much less pain involved. He also handled my Invisalign case and put me on a flexible package with unlimited modifications to make sure I was happy with the end result.

Fantastic experience: I had 3 infected implants and was desperately looking for the right dentist to see. After doing an extensive research and reading a lot of reviews about many other dentists I decided to see Dr Ahmed and I couldn’t be any happier with my decision. It’s been a long journey(around 18 months to be more precise) because there were a lot of problems needed to be fixed first like cleaning up the infection and bone grafting and gum reconstruction etc etc. And we haven’t finished yet as I’ve got one last old implant to be fixed but the 3 he’s fixed and replaced with new ones are doing great ! Fantastic experience: Dr Ahmed is by far the best dentist in Sydney. I had fantastic results with teeth whitening where I get compliments even months after the treatment over how white my teeth are. Dr Ahmed also performed gum surgery with a laser to help reduce the appearance of a 'gummy smile' and the results are astonishing. It's like a complete smile makeover, but with only one simple procedure that was pretty painless and hardly any downtime. The staff there are also so friendly and care about all their patients. Fantastic experience: I have come across Dr Ahmed Elkhatib and "Lumiere Dental Centre" while looking and researching to resolve an ongoing gum recession issue, which I have suffered from for a long time. It started to cause me pain and severe sensitivity and I could no longer ignore the issue I had at hand. On my first consultation, Dr Elkhatib did a thorough exam and explained my case really well, so I could make my own decision and which way I should go. I decided to have a gum graft surgery to cover my exposed roots. My case was very complicated due to spacing and problems with my teeth alignment. Surgery went as planned and the gum graft was taken from the roof of my mouth and had been used to cover the exposed root area on my bottom front teeth. I’m beyond happy with the results of my gum graft surgery despite the difficulty of my case. I believe Dr Ahmed Elkhatib delivered what he promised and I really appreciate his chair side manners and professionalism from the day of the surgery, during recovery and aftercare. Fantastic experience: We chose Dr Ahmed after reading those positive reviews on google and this is a best decision ever! My dad has an existing implant tooth which has completed overseas. The job was not done properly so we need to take it out and put a replacement in. There are a lot of issues on taking the old implant tooth out. One of them was none of the tool matched with the screw. Dr Ahmed and his team tried every possible way and worked for 7 hrs (from 4:30p.m. to 11p.m.) to take the old screw out! We cannot imagine what would happen if we didn’t choose him. Now my dad has got a new replacement from Dr Ahmed. We just need a few follow up appointments to finish the job. We just want to say big thank you to Dr Ahmed and his team. We really appreciate your help and patience. Guys, If you need help with your implant, don’t waste your time, just go to Dr Ahmed.

Fantastic experience: Before visiting Lumiere, I went to my partner's regular dentist in the city, but after the first consultation I didn't feel right about having such a complex procedure done with them. I came across Lumiere Dental Centre and went to them for a second opinion. After my first meeting with Dr Ahmed and his awesome team (thanks Sam and Andrea!) I immediately felt at ease with them - and bonus points for being gay-friendly and judgement-free too! ️‍️‍ Dr Ahmed took his time to explain my complex problem, as well as a few possible solutions we could take, the potential risks we might face, and a plan for my future dental care. The attentive and caring service provided by Dr Ahmed and his team felt above and beyond - definitely next level dental care! ✨ During my surgery, I had two difficult teeth removed, a bone graft to fill the holes, and they used plasma from my blood to cover the surgery area for a faster recovery. The day after surgery, there was only the smallest amount of swelling and almost no pain at all - It was crazy! Fantastic experience: Words cannot describe how happy I am after my dental transformation with Dr Ahmed and the amazing Sam & Andrea at Lumiere dental. Through every step of the process, Dr Ahmed has been open, warm, friendly and reassured me and my worries. Dr Ahmed is a perfectionist and leading expert in his field, who above all, wants his patients to be happy. I had to get a dental implant to replace an extra baby tooth that had fallen out and that I had been saving up to replace. This process required a screw to be inserted into my jaw. Dr Ahmed also encouraged me to get a gum graft to support the depreciation of my gum in the surrounding area. I was nervous about this, however it healed very well and quickly and I am incredibly thrilled with the results. I also had veneer caps put on to cover my existing font seven teeth as the two front teeth were slightly crossed over, miscoloured and jaggered at the bottom. Dr Ahmed regularly checked in on me with regards to aftercare to ensure that I was recovering well and was available for any concerns or issues that I had. I am extremely happy that Dr Ahmed offers another alternative that does NOT destroy your teeth, remove them or grind them down to tooth picks and ensures that the covers are natural looking and are individually perfectly hand crafted to reflect your natural tooth shape. After one of my covers was cemented on, Dr Ahmed noticed that it was cracked and showed his incredibly high level of integrity by ensuring that the cover was taken off, remade and replaced instead of just covering it up. Fantastic experience: My GP referred my father to Dr Ahmed regarding the removal of all his upper teeth and insertion of implants. Dr Ahmed and his lovely reception and nurses were very comforting throughout the whole surgery process.
