Negative experience: Yes the staff are lovely however if your looking for value for money or an alternative to an expensive procedure this isn't it. Like most Dental Centres it's pricing seems reasonable until your told you need to see their specialist's which are at the over priced end of the scale. Not worth the time and effort of paying for all the ex-rays and the $3000 cleaning cost plus the push to have cosmetic procedures done.

Negative experience: I had an implant placed by this company. They ended up having "delays" for the crown to be made and the dentist who placed my implant resigned the next day. I decided to get a second opinion by 2 dental specialist. My implant was placed incorrectly, on an angle rather than in the centre and said this will cause me issues in the future. I was also coming interstate for an appointment and on the day of the appointment after arriving they told me the doctor/dentsit was sick. I asked for a referral because of the issues I was having with this company - it took them 10 days to write me a 2 sentence email with me calling everyday requesting it. Initially they refused to even write the referral because the original dentist I saw had resigned. Extremely unprofessional. Very disappointed with this service. Let's just say, you get what you pay for.

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience with Dr Lokkey. Multiple issues. He left me with no direction other than to see my family dentist which was left scratching his head. Paid $80 for the scan to take home on cd, which did not work when two other clinics tried to look at it. Dr L made me feel uneasy and rushed when having the scan. I had the same one today with a a patient provider and no issues. I was left so completely confused after his recommendations, that I went to see two other smile clinics that absolutely 100% disagreed with his advice and actually said that was impossible! Front desk staff should be more caring also.

He did a excellent job for a reasonable cost. He was very confident doing his job and he wanted make sure everything is done perfectly. Fantastic experience: Having been quoted $40,000 on Collins Street for a full set of crowns on my lower jaw (12 teeth) my husband found Value Dental online and we were very impressed with the online reviews. We scheduled an initial consultation with Dr Lokkey which was brilliant and proceeded with the same work but for $17,000 including gum surgery. This was a lot of work and I was quite apprehensive but the whole team looked after me so well. Dr Samir is a very friendly approachable man who is also incredibly professional, serious and he is most excellent at his work with veneers and other cosmetic dentistry. He was happy to take the time to talk me through things and explain results and pit falls due to doing things the wrong way. Dr Samir wasn’t in a rush to help me achieve my perfect shape and he was happy to work with me to make it achievable. I felt comfortable with him doing his work entirely for the whole procedure. The procedure itself was faultless- the dentist was caring and made the procedure as comfortable as possible. Negative experience: My partner had surgery booked 8 weeks in advance, we both took significant time off work and missed my great aunts funeral in New Zealand just to have the appointment postponed a week today because the administrator failed to provide necessary documentation until the day before. Can’t speak to their dental work but furious with their administration, doesn’t inspire trust or confidence which I would expect to be paramount for a medical office. Absolutely unacceptable time wasting, lost thousands of dollars due to amateur oversight.

Positive experience: excellent clinic, would have given 5 stars but they failed to inform me of the compulsory membership fee in any of the many communications until I came to pay. Apart from this I would recommend them.

Only 1 more procedure to go but the results are truly amazing. I honestly cannot recommend Value Dental highly enough. From the wonderfully friendly reception staff, the Dental assistants and Dr Paul himself, the care you receive here is like no other dentist I’ve ever visited. My treatment plan was very carefully constructed And Dr. Paul explained everything so clearly. I immediately felt at ease with him and the staff, and even though I had lot of work to be done, I faced it with confidence because of the care I was given. This was a life changing result for me and I’m extremely grateful. Dr Paul, you are a legend!!

Fantastic experience: I found all the staff very polite and friendly. The procedures for my treatment were explained clearly to me. It was great to have the convenience to have my crown done over two appointments in the one day, instead of waiting for 2 or 3 weeks for a second appointment to complete the treatment. The prices are the lowest in Melbourne, and the equipment is of amazing quality. I had one crown done which I am very happy with, and am now awaiting for my second crown. 10/10

Both Dr. Paul and Dr. Scarlett are not only incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, but they take the time to explain every step of the process, ensuring I felt comfortable and informed throughout my procedures. I had been dreading going through the pain and awkwardness to get the dental implant completed but Dr. Paul and this clinics team made the entire experience more comfortable. Fantastic experience: I was sceptical with these guys having by far the lowest quote I'd had of the 3 consultations I had. But honestly I couldn't be happier with the results. I had 4 crowns at the front and it's completely changed my entire look for the better. Now finally I can learn to smile at aged 35.

Fantastic experience: Great place, 10/10. I got an implant ($3k) and 3 crowns ($900 each) because they are the best prices in Australia and competitive with overseas. The result is that it is far better to get implants and crowns done here than overseas. Value are highly professional, high on service, and high-tech, with their own lab and 3D cameras to cut the zirconia crowns into a perfect fit. If you can't keep up with your dental work because you can't afford the prices for crowns, then go to Value for a free consultation and get a plan for keeping your teeth. Aim to keep 12 pairs, if you get the vulnerable teeth crowned soon enough!
