Fantastic experience: Polite receptionist. On time call into dentist to have clean. This lady was very gentle and explained every step. Then to dentist who again explained every step he performed. Both easy to talk to and made the "going to dentist" experience a pleasant one. Thank You.

Positive experience: Sundial dental was my first choice when I moved to Laurieton a year ago. They are well organised with appointment times and reminders. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere at the Wauchope clinic is lovely with gorgeous aquariums and colourful fish. The procedure went well and was at the standard I expected. Fantastic experience: Dr Peter Elfar is the most accomplished dentist I’ve encountered in over 65 years of going to the dentist. He also happens to be a really nice person! My most recent work included 2 implants & a fixed bridge plus 2 crowns, all on my lower jaw. All work was done in-house in a timely manner. A couple of minor issues were corrected promptly at no charge. Sundial Dental dentists have access to amazing modern technology which allows for high quality accurate restoration & repair. We are fortunate to have this level of dentistry available locally. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Elfar for your most complex dental work.

Negative experience: I used this dentist recently to check on a tooth which had been hurting upon eating. I was leaving for an Asian destination and didn't want any dramas.The dentist checked my tooth, took an xray ( the machine wasn't working properly and didn't produce pictures in time, but I was assured I would be advised if anything showed up), I was charged $150 and provided with lots of expensive recommendations for other teeth. 2 days later, the same tooth broke in half at the airport over a croissant. I had my tooth fixed ( temp. Filling and crown)overseas for $700. Professional, clean, honest. Would not recommend this dentist surgery after my experience. Should have asked for money back.

Fantastic experience: The staff were very professional. My questions werr all addressed and answered so that i understood clearly what procedures were happening. I felt very relaxed and comfortable with my dentist. This has been the first dentist i have been to that time went by very quickly and i wasnt in any pain or discomfort which i was very suprised about as i have VERY sensitive teeth. Negative experience: I had to use this dentist when there were no bookings available for my regular dentist in Port Macquarie, the woman informed me I had 12 holes in my teeth, she filled one that day. I make it back to my regular dentist who checks my teeth and does a x-ray, zero holes, sundial filled a healthy tooth and was going to do 11 more. I have no idea if it was profiteering at my expense or the staff are just incompetent. Either way, always get a second opinion if you use the Wauchope Sundial.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr. Peter. Recently had a filling touched up and he did an excellent job, can hardly even tell its been done and my teeth/bite sit perfectly. Have had various hygienists do cleanings at the practice (can't recall all the names) but all have done a great job. I am extremely picky with my dentists, but will happily be continuing to see Dr. Peter for all my dental needs.

Spent a long time in the chair last week resolving a cracked and painful tooth. Nothing was too much trouble and each step was very well explained. The technology available is amazing, meaning that I was able to get a crown that afternoon and eat dinner pain free that night! Cannot recommend the Sundial Team highly enough!
