Fantastic experience: I wanted to take the time to express my deepest gratitude to the team at North Shore Paediatric Dentistry. I have truly never experienced care like this before, both for myself as a parent and for my child. I came to your clinic feeling extremely anxious after an appointment with a general dentist, where I felt my child’s condition was treated as just another job. The contrast could not have been more profound. From the very first phone call, the reception team was warm, empathetic, and incredibly kind. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly and patiently answered my many (and likely repetitive) questions. They genuinely understood how I was feeling and gave me the clarity I needed to communicate confidently with my partner and prepare my child for the appointment. On the day of the appointment, the receptionists were so welcoming and engaging with my child, and the clinic environment itself was perfectly designed to distract and comfort anxious children. In the treatment room, every staff member was absolutely lovely. The dentist connected with my child in a way I have never seen and never once made me feel judged or embarrassed about my child’s condition. The nurses were both fun and highly professional, which immediately put me at ease. I also want to acknowledge the front desk team, who showed such genuine care and understanding toward me as a highly anxious parent experiencing a lot of guilt and embarrassment. Not once did they make me feel bad. Instead, they reassured me with kindness, explaining that this is something they see and manage all the time. A special mention must go to Jessica, Ami, and Zhalika, who so patiently responded to my many calls and emails, often filled with questions that, in hindsight, turned out to be unnecessary. Every single interaction was met with kindness, reassurance, and a willingness to explain things as many times as I needed, without ever making me feel like a burden. My child is doing so much better now, and I am genuinely looking forward to many more appointments with this incredible team. And when you start seeing adult patients, I will absolutely be first in line. Thank you for the exceptional care, empathy, and professionalism you provide. It has made a world of difference to our family.

Fantastic experience: We were anxious about taking our little fella to the dentist , but as soon as we met Dr Dhanpol and the team we were put at ease. Everyone in the clinic has a calming positive nature and the service and unprofessional we received was top notch. Our 3 year old Jose’ didn’t want to leave.

Fantastic experience: We just had our first appointment with Dr Prashanth today, he was so wonderful with my 5yo, a natural with kids! The whole appointment was over before she even knew it and she thought it was the most fun dental appointment she has ever had :-) Reception staff were very welcoming, the whole process from booking our appointment to finish was great. Dr Prashanth and team are so good with children, we would recommend to all our family and friends.

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank Dr Prashanth and his team for fitting in my niece at such short notice. She had an emergency over the weekend where she severely damaged her two front teeth, and to make things more complex, she was flying out of Australia with her parents the next day. We knew getting them fixed as soon as possible would give her the best outcome. Dr Prashanth fit us in, and was able to treat her in the most gentle and calm manner. Truly an exceptional clinician and a wonderful human being.

Fantastic experience: Wow wow and an extra wow. We are world travelers and the worst case scenario happened: Our son needed a teeth extraction. BUT… We are still excited about the experience and how good a team can give a kid a positive feeling although it was a tough time for him. The entire team from reception till doctors and support team did an excellent job. German doctors should visit this practice and learn how good a dentist visit can be for a little boy in the age of 7 years! We would like to thank NSPD for this experience. Fantastic experience: Our family has had the best experience with NSPD. Dr Dhanpal and his team have been incredible with our kids, making them feel safe, included and happy throughout the process. Dr Dhanpal is magic. As a parent Ive found that he is very thoughtful in the whole experience, he is thorough and also efficient, provides detailed information all without the kids getting restless!

Fantastic experience: Dr Dhanpal is absolutely amazing, my 8 year old daughter gets anxiety about anything medical and he had her relaxed and laughing within minutes and through the entire process. Dr Dhanpal made it such a simply and easy process to do all her dental treatment under General anesthetic (explained everything so well and we felt really comfortable and happy.) Was the best thing for my daughter and now all her teeth are all sorted. She bounced back so fast from the general she was back to playing and dancing that afternoon of her treatment. Putting my daughter in the chair to fix her teeth would have been torture for her. I know putting our children to sleep under general is a scary thought but honestly it was the best choice I made about her teeth as we did try the sliver fluoride treatment which was pretty torturous for her and didn’t even work. I would say to parents to not put off dental treatment that requires general anesthetic. It’s the best thing to have everything fixed for your child in the one go and not dental visits upon dental visits to see if you can get them to work their way up to the treatment they need. Could not recommend Dr Dhanpal more, he is one of the best specialist pediatric dentist we have come across. Thank you for helping my daughter

Fantastic experience: My daughter required extensive dental treatment and Dr Dhanpal made my daughter feel so much more at ease and explained everything so clearly every step of the way. I felt apprehensive about the process initially however after attending this clinic I felt my daughter was under the best care and I plan on continuing with them. The admin staff were so helpful.

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Dr Dhanpal. From our very first meeting he was incredibly friendly and he was able to make my daughter feel completely at ease about having two teeth extracted in the chair. The procedure was very successful and it was a great experience for my daughter, who was very relaxed due to the excellent care and professionalism from Dr Dhanpal. He is highly skilled, excellent at his work and amazing at connecting with children and making them feel relaxed. I can’t recommend him highly enough. There is nowhere else I would take my daughters and I have happily recommend him to many friends and colleagues.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dhanpal is an excellent clinician who is ever so ready to help. I rang him after hours to see if he could provide pediatric dental treatment for my young patient. He went above and beyond from professional advice to managing my patient with the utmost care. Fantastic experience: The treatment plan was fairly extensive for our little one (3 years), but showed the worst case scenario. We were worried our little one would have to lose at least one of the front teeth. In the end, Dr. Dhanpal was able to cap the teeth and we were overwhelmed by the positive outcome. Our little one started talking a lot more and was a lot more confident after the procedure from day 1. The anesthetist and nurses at Tamara private hospital in Tamworth were also great. We highly recommend NSPD. They did a great job and provided support all along the way.

Fantastic experience: We were referred to Dr Dhanpal by our sons paediatric dentist. Our son (5yr old) initially had 2 decayed teeth, but with further examination it was discovered he had an extra tooth that also needed extraction. From the get go we were extremely comfortable with Dr, he took the time to thoroughly explain the whole process to extremely anxious parents. We were booked in sooner then expected and the whole process was a smooth process. Numerous after care questions, outside of work hours were never an issue for Dr who always promptly replied. We will always be very grateful for the time, compassion and experience from Dr Dhanpal. And we highly recommend him and his team.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend My journey with Dr Dhanpal started 7 years ago in his Tamworth practice with my one year old daughter who’s teeth were not great and she need her top 4 of them capped it was that or get them pulled with much consideration we new which way we had to go especially with regards to eating and speech etc. With Dr Dhanpal by her side he did an amazing job since then with 6 month checks we finally have it under control. My youngest daughter also sees Dr Dhanpal as well and also had to go into hospital for surgery on teeth but he certainly has their best interest at heart my youngest also had to have her adenoids which he picked up. Last but not least my son who has seen dentist regularly all his life went and saw Dr Dhanpal at 17 as I was concerned about his lisp getting worse as it turned out he was tounge tied and he fixed it. We go back and see Dr Dhanpal and his wonderful team in Pymble every 6 months now to keep on top of things as we live in Newcastle. I can’t say enough great words about him and his wonderful team as they go above and beyond what they need to do to help. My children I will be forever grateful I will travel anywhere to see him and my girls love him he makes them feel more like family than a patient . Fantastic experience: We did some research and decided to attend North Shore Paediatric Dentistry (with Dr Dhanpal) for my little girl. She needed one extraction (decay in one of her teeth) plus she needed two fillings in two different teeth (related to the tooth decay). My little girl did not feel pain, and was able to get all her treatments done over two separate appointments. His friendliness made us feel very comfortable, he also has a great sense of humour :) Dr Dhanpal was wonderful and calm and friendly. He was very knowledgable and informative which I appreciated. He has a great way with kids (and parents). The service here from the reception staff, dental assistant and Dr Dhanpal himself was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr Dhanpal saw my 3 year old for consult as well as some dental surgery. He was kind, patient, and excellent professional. We will be continuing to visit this dental practice and highly recommend him!

Fantastic experience: Dr Dhanpal couldn't possibly be more patient and genuine with the kids. Really positive experience. We needed some fairly extensive work for one of our children. The service was clear, well explained and friendly. Our daughter was never panicked, always listened to and made to feel safe. The admin staff were helpful and thorough. Strong recommend by parents and patient (who announced she doesn't want to see any other dentist).

Fantastic experience: Dr Dhanpal is so wonderful. My child, 7, had some molars that had “mineral deficiency” at some stage in growth, which is always awesome to know we hadn’t fed our child correctly and we thank him for that. We were referred by our lovely dentist, to Dhanpal to do the work on the molars and my wife had a reassuring chat with the doc and he was confident he’ll remove at least 2 molars and cap one or two, we were so happy this was getting done. The paediatric dentist said he’d also “flick out” the bottom front tooth for free, while he was there, as the new tooth was already through, how awesome. Dr Dhanpals secretary then sent the bill to be paid in advance, all looked in order so we paid, as that’s the only way to get it done, so happy about that. Our son goes into surgery under general anaesthetic, no parents allowed and what success! We have 3 molars taken out, a crown on one, we had a feeling this might happen, all good, bottom front tooth “flicked out”, nice.......aaaaand HIS TWO TOP FRONT TEETH WERE MISSING ALSO! Sooooooo awesome! So now we have a child with ASD, which dentist knew going in, who has some trouble with being motivated to eat but that’s fine, a week off school to get used to it and getting cross with mum for losing his teeth, because we can’t have him scared of dentists so we have to play it up was tremendous, with no molars or front teeth. The excitement in my wife’s face post surgery couldn’t be helped. Then we got another bill for more money, oh joy, but the dentist must have liked us as he went back to original quote plus a little extra for the crown and decided not to charge us for his uninformed consent of two front teeth, what a lovely, empathetic and really great with special needs kids kinda guy, which he also said that he took the two front teeth because our son was incapable of wobbling them out and they’d grow the next set in a few months, how fantastic, as it’s now been 5 months and no sign of front teeth and our child won’t have the opportunity to wobble them out. We are very lucky, we have a happy go lucky kinda kid and he has bounced back to his normal self and a good school where kids don’t tease. Such a great experience, still waiting on teeth, I’m sure they’ll come soon. The best part is we learned the term “informed consent” Good luck

Fantastic experience: Dr Prashanth Dhanpal & his team are absolutely incredible, They have changed our little boys life . He had teeth problems as well as tonsils & Adenoids, Him self & his team organised for an ENT & helped us organise a double surgery to have it all done in one go . Now 12 months on our Mr 7 year old is back to his normal self and is leaping bounds in his education and is getting to where he should have been . They are absolute fantastic with kids & nervous mums .

She had no pain after her operation an she was back to her normal happy self in no time . Fantastic experience: Thank you ever so much for removing my daughter's adult tooth. She was amazed at how pain free the whole thing was – and how quick! It’s like you are a magician! Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Dr Prashanth Dhanpal highly enough. We first met him nearly a year ago when my daughter how was 4 at the time had issues with her molars. Her usual dentist could not even get my daughter to open her mouth never mind take X-rays. As soon as he met her she was putty in his hands. He made it so much fun and had taken 3 X-rays in a matter of minutes. As my daughter had so many antibiotics for tonsillitis (which had been removed) it affected the development of her molars which were crumbling and need attention ASAP. I felt awful as a mother thinking I’d caused her teeth to be in such a bad state but Dr Prashanth explained everything to me step by step as to what had caused her teeth to crumble and that it was nothing I had done. She had surgery the next day and he was able to save her teeth. We live in Armidale regional NSW and travel to see Dr Prashanth in Tamworth and feel very lucky to have him travel to regional nsw. I now take my youngest daughter to see him too and the visit was so much fun they can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic experience: We took our 10 day old son who was suspected to have a tongue tie to see Dr Dhanpal. Dr Dhanpal was absolutely amazing, he explained what tongue tie was and the potential implications (breast feeding, speech and dental hygiene). Our son did need to have his tongue unrestricted and Dr Dhanpal performed the procedure on the spot. All the while explaining what was happening and extremely reassuring. Our experience with Dr Dhanpal was very positive and we would highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Our son was born with a tooth and he used it well until he fell off. He had trouble after losing the tooth and until we visited Mr Dhanpal. He explained it very well as our son had some bits of the tooth still in the jaw. The procedure took a few minutes and my son keeps asking when are we going back. Highly recommend Mr Dhanpal and the team.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! Dr Dhanpal and his team , went above and beyond to treat my daughter. Being remote in location and with a nervous child can be challenging, but they worked with us to get the job done in a professional, caring and effective manor. Fantastic experience: When our baby was two days old, Dr Dhanpal came out to the Mater Hospital, North Sydney to treat his tongue tie. My wife is a dentist, and she wanted to have the tongue tie cut as soon as possible. Dr Dhanpal was thorough in explaining all the issues related to having a tongue tie, and the procedure was done very quickly with minimal upset to our baby boy. My wife says she noticed an improvement with the latch for breastfeeding straight away.

Fantastic experience: My 2 year old boy had his first dental visit and he(we) walked out with a big smile.Friendly staff and well-equipped surgery to keep you and your kid occupied in the waiting room as well. Fantastic experience: One hears that a visit to a dentist can be the most dreaded..however, in this instance, although my daughter was apprehensive when she stepped in... that changed in an instant. Surrounded by her favourite minions and watching her favourite show on the dentist chair, she told me that she was somewhat oblivious to the dental procedure that was underway. More importantly, Dr Prashant's gentle and reassuring manner dispelled all her fears. He patiently explained the tricks of the trade related to oral hygiene - but in a child friendly manner. We would most certainly be confident about returning for any future dental related issues to Dr Prashant and highly reccomend NSPD !

Fantastic experience: We came here to fix our newborns tounge tie. Dr Dhanpal explained everything clearly and put our concerns at ease. He was very patient and the whole procedure was over in seconds. Our daughter didn't even cry! Highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I recently took my two year old daughter to Dr Dhanpal after she sustained facial trauma and her two front teeth were compromised. He was professional, reassuring and did everything with minimal of fuss but maximum efficiency. I cannot rate him highly enough. When no one else could or would see us in our emergency he came in on his day off and organised to have her operated on immediately through Hunters Hill Private after thoroughly assessing her. He made what was a traumatic time as painless and easy as possible. Her recovery has been far better than we possibly expected. I highly recommend him. Fantastic experience: Took my 10-day-old to see Dr Dhanpal for tongue-tie on recommendation from my local area lactation consultant due to a long wait for Westmead's clinic. I was able to be slotted in at short notice prior to Christmas. I was given well-informed advice and the procedure to release the tie was quick and non-traumatic for both of us. Had an immediate improvement in feeding and a more content bub.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dhanpal treated my new born for a tongue tie when she was 2 days old. My wife was very nervous but Dr. dhanpal was absolutely fantastic. He put us at ease and was done with the procedure befor we even knew. Since then we have taken our older daughter (4.5 yrs) to him as well for regular checkups. Now our daughter really looks forward to her dentist visits! I'd recommend him with no reservations!

Fantastic experience: I have taken my daughter to this practice on numerous occasions . Each time we go she is so excited and happy . Each member of the team has made her feel like she is the only thing important to them , she remains calm and comfortable the whole time. She has had numerous extractions in the chair with Dr Dhanpal and each time she has left comfortable and has had no pain. I often get asked when her next appointment is that's how much she lives going . I would highly recommend this practice to all of my friends and family . Excellent job guys
