Dr Alex and Jorja were absolutely wonderful. They both had such a calm, comforting manner and immediately put us at ease. Fantastic experience: My 4yo recently had to have his front tooth extracted and the adjacent tooth filled following a scooter accident. It was a pretty tough time for him (& mum & dad). All of the staff were so lovely and calming to deal with and Tony talked us through, in a lot of detail, about the damage and options to fix it. They also give the opportunity to use afterpay. This was an unforeseen expense and the payment option gave some relief to an already stressful situation. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Beyond 5 Stars! Finding Dr Tony and the Grow team, has been an absolute Godsend! My daughter, (and I) had terrible experiences with two other Paediatric Dentists in Brisbane. As a result, my daughter was left with terrible fear and anxiety of all things dental. From my very first phone call with Honi, at Grow, I could tell this place was different and we were going to be in good hands. They treated my daughter with kindness and respect and took all the time necessary to reassure her and explain processes. Dr Tony and his team showed genuine care for my daughter, and took time to build trust and rapport. This team is truly skilled and equipped in knowing how to deal with scared and anxious children. They took a massive weight off my shoulders, by knowing how to best handle my daughter. Plus, they are just a genuinely likeable team! While my daughter got to choose a prize and have a chat with Honi (my girl likes a chat!), Dr Tony very clearly explained our options for treatment and anything else I needed to know and showed empathy and understanding. Not once did they make us feel like a nuisance, or focus on any behavioural challenges with my daughter. Where others had dismissed my child's concerns and fears, and left her feeling helpless, this team allowed her to feel in control of what would happen and kept her fully informed. Like true professionals, they got the job done. We still have much work ahead of us, to help my daughter feel more comfortable with dental work, but in my opinion, Dr Tony and his team are the only ones capable of such a task. For me, the travel from Brisbane, to the Gold Coast is absolutely worth it. I will not take my daughter anywhere else. I just wish I had have found Dr Tony initially as it would have saved my daughter a great deal of upset and unnecessary trauma. So very grateful to the amazing team at Grow. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Fantastic experience: We brought our almost 2yr old in to see Tony for enamel hypoplasia. From the start to Finish of consult, the whole team were so kind and nurturing, we weren’t rushed in or out, and despite this being our babies first time at a dentist, there were no tears, just laughs. The team went above and beyond to push us through for urgent appointments and surgery. Our sons surgery was handled so reassuringly and Tony treated our son with so much care and profession. Our sons recovery (despite extractions and restorations) was almost instant! He was up smiling the next day finally eating food and happy. He’s a whole new little person. I cannot thank the team at grow enough and would highly recommend for any baby or child. Thank you all so much x

Fantastic experience: We were referred to Grow from our normal dentist for dental work that required day surgery. My son has ASD and anxiety. Dr Tony and all staff at Grow made my son and myself feel very calm and informed. I was assisted with everything leading up to the surgery and was told to feel free to call anytime with further questions. Dr Tony performed the surgery and spoke with me afterwards on how it went and whar expect. We also received a follow up call afterwards and had the option for a complimentary checkup if needed. My son's recovery went very well. Dr Tony is very professional. I highly recommend Grow.

He is equally supportive of his students as he is of his patients and their families. Speaking from personal experience, he has gone out of his way on numerous occasions to create extra-curricular opportunities for us dental students whenever possible. We are lucky to have him at Griffith and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Dr Tony Caker is without a doubt the best pediatric dentist on the Gold Coast. I have a handicapped daughter who has been sent from one dentist to another because she is a difficult patient. She has a number of complex social and behavioural problems and extremely anxious. As a consequence she needs a dentist who is extremely patient and caring. Tony and his staff are amazing with our daughter. They are all so friendly, patient and take time to reassure our daughter . She now loves her regular visits to her amazing dentist’ Tony. Thank you Grow PD.

Fantastic experience: I can not recommend Dr Cakar and Grow Peadiatric Dentistry enough. My daughter woke one night crying with tooth pain, I took her to our regular dentist that morning who confirmed she had a cavity, he recommended we see Dr Cakar rather then traumatise her with needles etc Thankfully Dr Cakar was able to see her later that day, unfortunately she had a few further problems that could be treated over a number of visits/ months or in the one go under anaesthetic. We went for the later option and again thankfully she could be treated quickly. Dr Cakar and his team were super friendly, down to earth, informative and happy to answer any questions. They went out of their way to help.The facilities were lovely and very child friendly. My daughter actually enjoyed going there and looked forward to her review appointment. The treatment at the hospital also went well and Dr Cakar and his team did a great job at easing any nerves. We are very happy with the outcome and again would not hesitate to recommend this service!

Fantastic experience: Dr Tony was fantastic. My 22 month old had conditions that required extractions, wrapping and 4 stainless steel caps under general anaesthetic, A lot for a little guy. I was so nervous and Tony was just wonderful with him, but also with us. We felt very informed, and very confident in leaving our precious little one in his hands. It’s quite daunting to have such work done on your baby, but Tony made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire process. And he’s great with the kiddies. And my little one has no more pain and his teeth look amazing!! I would highly recommend to anyone!
