Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dr Deb Wong for anyone looking for a paediatric dentist.

Negative experience: I took my 5 year old kid to this doctor, she advised for a $2000 procedure with additional cost of ajother $2000 to take out 4 front teeth of a 5 year old under anesthesia! I was so taken aback that i went for a second opinion and guess what?? All of this surgeries that i was asvised that we MUST do is NOT required at all cos guess what, the kid is 5 years old! Cd u imagine the trauma my little one would have gone through?? Its one thing to rip ur patients off bt this was diabolical.

My 12 year old daughter is an irrationally anxious child and has had extensive dentistry and maintenance in their care. Zabeta is amazing !!! She has worked with my daughter to create a trustful relationship where she uses techniques of counting down , short bursts and lots and lots of patience to get my daughter through her cleans. Zabeta was successful in getting my daughter through a filling recently. It was absolutely amazing !!!! I was so sure we were not going to get through it and would need to do it in hospital with full sedation…… but Zabeta got my daughter through every step with patience, care and the skills of an international hostage negotiator my daughter was left feeling very proud of herself for getting through the filling and my wallet was even happier The team at Deb Wong and associates are incredibly professional and caring. The clinic is beautifully decorated with kids in mind and has a calming vibe. I highly rate and recommend them. I am so happy I found them !!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Deb and the entire team were amazing from the initial point of contact. They were accommodating to make an urgent appointment and when surgery was required for my daughter, Dr Deb was open and honest and her team guided us through the process seamlessly. Negative experience: I took my son here for a consultation and am extremely unsatisfied with Doctor Deb‘s recommendation.. the only option she gave us was to give my three-year-old son anaesthesia to have his cavities filled.. I have since taken him to my family Dentist that does not specialise in children and they have already completed two fillings at a quarter of the price and no drugs or gases needed. (My main concern was the drugs) This experience has taught me to not trust reviews and always get a second opinion.

Dr Deb explained everything very clearly and answered all our questions and concerns; she also addressed our son directly and explained things to him in a way he could understand. My son had a number of extractions, crowns and fillings so we had a day procedure, the before care and follow up has been flawless. Fantastic experience: I can’t speak highly enough of Dr Deb & her team. My daughter has a neurodivergent diagnosis. Her comorbidities include debilitating anxiety which has given rise to trypanophobia (needle phobia). Covid exacerbated these traits more broadly, making attending the dentist an absolutely traumatic experience for many kids, and their parents in mitigating their distress. My daughter’s oral health had markedly deteriorated by the time I managed to help her overcome the insensitivity of some clinicians she had experienced within a government appointed program. When we were referred to Dr Deb I was at a loss in terms of next steps if my daughter refused to re-attend. The waiting area of the practice was the initial indicator we were in the right place - padded booth seats line the windows providing options for communal play on one side or to sit quietly & privately in isolation on the other and the lighting is inclusive in design and position. Dr Deb has an amazing chair-side manner with kids, she is not only a highly knowledgeable specialist dentist, her professional conduct is person centred, neuroaffirming, trauma informed and mental health literate. These attributes clearly pervade the culture of the clinic, so whilst my daughter was still anxious, Dr Deb & her staff managed to gain her trust by meeting her needs & communicating with her in a way that made her feel understood and safe. I highly recommend Dr Deb and her team and am so grateful for their care. Unlike the practices of dental clinicians I was subjected to as a young Gen X, my daughters oral health AND mental health have been addressed and improved concurrently by the treatment she has received.

Fantastic experience: My 6 yo son needed 1 molar extraction and 4 molars crown. Needed GA for the procedure. I was very nervous abt the procedure and after care. Everything went smooth and no pain after surgery. No medication needed and eating and chewing like normal.

Negative experience: Overall not a good experience. Didn’t realise they are not with Bupa when signing in rush but they refused to return deposit when I requested. Final invoice was also much higher than what was provided in the estimated range for the treatment. Too expensive !!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Deb Wong is absolutely amazing!! My daughter just recently had dental surgery and removed 7 teeth under local anaesthetic by Dr Deb. She took amazing care of my daughter with Down Syndrome and assisted us throughout the whole process. Dr Deb is incredibly knowledge and amazing at what she does. Prior to seeing Dr Deb, my 6 year old daughter was quite nervous to see a dentist, but the process has been such a positive one from start to finish. There is no doubt that Dr Deb is doing exactly what she was meant to. Her way with kids is so natural, and meant that any nerves were kept at bay for both my daughter and I. I was also very impressed by how informed my daughter was along the way. Fantastic experience: We went to see Dr. Deb Wong for a second opinion for my daughter's dental procedure. Right from our initial appointment, we felt we're in safe hands. I liked how the doctor explained the reason behind getting the procedure done and also answered all my concerns related to it. On the day of the procedure, she made sure we are all good and the small chat removed all the anxiety we had. Also, after the procedure, doctor made sure to give us a call to explain all that has been done as part of teh procedure and answered all the questions with utmost patience. My daughter went back to her normal self on the day of the procedure itself. :-). It's a nice gesture for the doctor to call in herself to check on my daughter the next day of the procedure. I'm so glad we went ahead with Dr.Deb Wong. Thank you, Dr. Deb Wong and team!

Negative experience: Went in the for my 3.5yr old son she couldnt take a proper xray and charged me even for the unsuccessful xrays. An extraction or crown she quoted me almost $3700. Went for a second opinion elsewhere paid $2100. Same hospital with anaesthesiast. In all honesty you're very expensive

Fantastic experience: We had a great exeperience with DR Deb Wong. They got us an appointment very quickly following my son having an accident, and then arranged surgery in a quick time frame. Everyone from Dr Deb, to her assistant and the admin team were great to deal with.

Negative experience: She either doesnt know how to count or hasnt been beaten up in her life over charged me 380 bucks for a consultation what a bloody ripoff. Makes me do all the work with my toddler. if you're rich then go i got fooled by the positive reviews in all honesty I do not recommend shes very pricey and not understanding lucky i had the funds if I didnt she will probably end up strangling me for the money. If you want to get ripped off go ahead I thought dr rana was expensive shes a bargain compared to deb wong. $120 vs $380 you do the math

The surgery went well, and Dr. Deb Wong took the time to call personally the day after to follow up. Would recommend to any parent of young kids needing dental work.
