Fantastic experience: Dr Caitlin Hurley is amazing. My daughter needed a tooth extracted after she had facial cellulitis from an infected molar tooth. Caitlin went above and beyond and was so caring and kind. Thank you Caitlin and the Minyama Children’s Dental Team.

Fantastic experience: Very caring staff from start to finish. Dr Caitlin took care of our 3 year old and I really liked her patient, caring, but no messing around approach. She helped encourage my daughter up into the chair and fully cooperating, much to my surprise. Great experience.

Fantastic experience: We were referred to Children’s Dental Centre as my 4 year old son refused to sit in the chair for treatment at our family Dentist. Although after several visits we had to go to Kawana Private Hospital for treatment under GA, I can’t recommend Children’s Dental Centre highly enough. Special mention to Dr Caitlin Hurley & Kaitlin. Complete professionalism and a high level of care and attention to my child gives me the confidence to happily recommend them to any family.

Fantastic experience: I had an anxious teen who required multiple teeth extractions due to overcrowding. They were referred by their orthodontist to Dr Caitlin at Children’s Dental Centre. Dr Caitlin was warm, friendly and gave the option of extractions in the chair or under general anaesthetic. The teen opted for general anaesthetic. 4 extractions were completed in one morning (about 15 minutes for the removal and a couple of hours recovery). No further pain meds required following discharge. Teen didn’t get too stressed with the extractions and reported it as a pleasant experience. Highly recommend Dr Caitlin at The Children’s Dental Centre.

From the consultation and up until my daughters’ operation, I can say that all the staff and the doctors are very nice and supportive and professional. My daughter had her surgery last Friday with the lovely doctors Dr. Sarah, her surgeon and Dr. Nellie, her anaesthesiologist. Dr. Sarah is very professional and has been very gentle to our dear Selena, she explains to us the details of the operation making sure that we understand it and as a mother who’s got really scared and worried (since this is my girls’ first surgery and mind you it’s not minor), it makes me feel calm ☺️ The dental surgery was a success and my daughter is healing fast. Our journey began when my 4-year-old daughter developed a severe infection in her mouth & face. Despite multiple visits to our local hospital on the Fraser Coast, her condition was repeatedly dismissed as non-urgent. As a parent, watching your child suffer through days of pain and trauma without any effective intervention is heart-wrenching. We felt helpless and desperate for someone to take her condition seriously. I reached out to Dr. Keys for a second opinion and thank goodness I did. From the moment he laid eyes on a single photo of my daughter’s infected mouth, and seen how swollen her little face was he understood the gravity of the situation. His immediate response was not just reassuring but decisive. Recognizing the urgent need for treatment, Dr. Keys contacted me after hours demanding that our local hospital admit her for intravenous antibiotics. This assertiveness was a stark contrast to the indifferent attitude we had previously encountered. However, Dr. Keys didn't stop there. Despite his undoubtedly packed schedule, Dr Keys demonstrated an unwavering commitment to my daughter’s wellbeing as after three days of antibiotics with no improvement and our concerns being dismissed by our local hospital, he arranged for my daughter to be transferred to the Sunshine Coast for emergency surgery and managed to squeeze her in for the necessary procedure, a testament to his dedication and understanding of the critical nature of her infection. The surgery was a success, and my daughter’s transformation was almost immediate. The relief she experienced was palpable, and her recovery was swift! It is no exaggeration to say that Dr. Keys saved her life. His expertise, coupled with his genuine concern for his patients, sets him apart as a healthcare provider who truly cares. In a world where medical professionals are often overworked and overwhelmed, Dr. Keys stands out as a beacon of hope. His proactive approach, compassionate demeanor, and unparalleled expertise in pediatric dentistry have not only healed my daughter but also restored our faith in the healthcare system. Fantastic experience: Looked after us very well, managed to arrange my daughters surgery very quickly as we were going away in a couple of weeks. Was a very straightforward process and Dr Tim and his team explained everything clearly, and made us feel very comfortable from start to finish...even if she didn't take up his offer of Garlic & Onion flavoured icecream post-op! :D

Fantastic experience: We were referred to Dr Tim by our local dentist for our youngest son. We are extremely happy with the entire process of dealing with Kaitlin in reception to Dr Tim at the hospital himself. As we had to travel 6 hours to attend our appointment we were a little nervous about the whole experience. Kaitlin and Dr Tim answered all of our questions and explained the procedure in detail to make us feel comfortable and ready for the procedure once we arrived. Everything ran smoothly, Tim was great with our son and made him feel much more at ease. I will definitely be recommending this clinic to any friends or family in the future that may need their services. Thank you again Dr Tim, highly highly recommend.

Negative experience: I was quite disgusted at paying over $300 for my daughter to have her teeth cleaned. It literally took 10 mins and there was no difference. I have paid less to have a tooth remove. I suggest getting a quote prior to any visit. They even took the deposit of $100 as well. So it was over $400.

Julie and her dental assistant were so kind, caring and empathetic whilst ensuring that the visit was fun for a little boy who’s anxious. This is exactly what children’s dentistry should be and we’re very lucky to have a clinic like this on the Sunshine Coast. As a parent, it’s incredibly reassuring to know that your child will be treated with love, care and professionalism at this fantastic clinic.

Fantastic experience: Our 2 and a half year old son required one of his front teeth removing so we were recommended to see Dr Tim and his team, all I can say is what an amazing job they did! For a horrible daunting procedure to have to put a young one through they were so helpful with initial consult making our boy feel comfortable and walking out with a smile, then even for the tooth extraction he was his happy self 5 minutes after the procedure. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend!! My daughter saw Tim today and walked out saying "He is the best dentist ever...Mum, I asked him his name so I could remember him next time I see him!" She genuinely wanted to see him again. She is generally anxious with dentists but Tim explained everything to her before doing anything and she had a great experience! Fantastic experience: From the get go Dr Tim was amazing and then we got to meet and be cared for by Dr Sarah- I can not rave more about the extra mile these two go to, to ensure your little ones are taken care of. Our son has ADHD and sensory issues. Just such a relief with having Sarah take care of our son. The reception staff and assistants were lovely, informative and super caring. We live in Brisbane and needed emergency dental assistance whilst on holiday. From the 1st point of contact the team Went above and beyond to ensure we were cared for. We will travel just to get dental from Sarah and Tim in the future. Xxx thanks team!!!

Fantastic experience: The team was able to accomodate us on a short notice and book in for a dental surgery. We dealt with both Dr Tim and Sarah. Both were fantastic, patient and pleasant. They took the time to explain all our options and procedure. The dental surgery wenr without a hitch, our daughter complained of almost no discomfort post op. Very happy with our experience and will continue to make the long journey from brissy to see Dr Tim and the team. The support team is very friendly, professional and helpful and were a pleasure to deal with. Definitely recommend the clinic for little people.

Fantastic experience: Wow! Still not sure if I dropped my kids off at the local play centre or the dentist!! The kids (2 and 3) loved the place from the moment they stepped in the door running straight to the cubby house. Dr. Tim then immediately built up rapport with them which made them feel at ease. When doing the clean they loved being able to watch their favourite show on the ceiling TV which was a great distraction. Dr. Tim then gave us some clear, easy to remember tips to prevent any problems from occuring down the track. Once finished the kids were rewarded with a toy (not a lolly of course!) from the vending machine. The toys came in a reusable egg casing which you had to give back to Dr. Tim - a great sustainability touch! I never thought I'd have the kids begging me to go back to the dentist! Great overall experience and certainly worth the drive up from Brisbane! Is the Children's Dental Centre also open as just a play centre LOL!

Fantastic experience: We recently had Dr Tim Keys and his team at Children's Dental Centre operate on our 2 year old son to fix damage to his 4 front teeth. Honestly we couldn't recommend them highly enough - 5 stars seems insufficient for the level of care provided by Tim, his assistants and reception staff. They are ALL amazing with children, the facilities in the consultation rooms are AAA+++ and their attention to detail is next level. Fantastic experience: Dr Tim was such a calm and caring person. This was my 8 year old daughters first time to have surgery, and we couldn't have wished for a more professional and pleasant person than Dr Tim. Her surgery went extremely well and the follow up from the staff and Dr Tim is more than we could ever ask for. We can not speak high enough nor thank Dr Tim for making this experience so enjoyable. Fantastic experience: I 100% recommend this Dental Centre to absolutely anyone! I'm 18 and have had to get so much work done on my teeth. Dr. Tim pulled out 4 of my teeth as well as alot of other dental work that needed to be done. Him and his team did such an amazing job! Always making sure I was okay and feeling alright, wanting me to be comfortable through everything they did. I had some dental trauma when I was little at a school dental van. Completely changed my view on dentists and made me very scared and not comfortable AT ALL. Dr. Tim and his team totally changed my view and made me feel confident all over again. I couldn't see myself going anywhere else and if you are looking for somewhere to take your child, I absolutely recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Children's Dental Centre has completely transformed our experience of going to the dentist! Our little girl used to be terrified, with tears and crying and refusing to open her mouth, but since we have switched to Children's Dental she feels safe and listen too and now LOVES going to the dentist. She's even writing all her appointments on her calender and counting down the days till she can visit Dr Tim again! Now that we've been here I would never take my kids anywhere else. They are so helpful and understanding, always have time to answer questions and make sure everyone understands and is happy with everything. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: My 6 year old daughter had some dental work done at Buderim Hospital by Dr Sarah. The professionalism shown by both Sarah and Erin was absolutely outstanding.
