Fantastic experience: I was vacationing in Manly, Australia, recently for six weeks and one week in I was feeling pain where I have three implants. Of course, this kind of stuff always happens on vacation and I had no references to rely to select a dentist. Next door to a Dim Sum restaurant on Darley Road that I’d come to really like, was a business called Nordic Dental. I popped in, was given an appointment that afternoon, and found myself in a dentist’s chair, apprehensive about what kind of treatment was in store. Such a pleasant surprise! The doctor, Anna, was amazing. She reviewed my medical and dental history in detail, poked around the implants, took an Xray and diagnosed the problem right away. And explained the treatment which I immediately agreed to. One thing that keeps me away from dentists is the idea that procedures are painful. Not at Nordic Dental. She numbed the area and gently did the treatment. I was so relaxed I could have fallen asleep! Most importantly, she provided me with a detailed dental hygiene routine that would help to prevent this infection in the future. And she recommended a procedure that a periodontist could do when I got home from my vacation that would fix the problem permanently. Basically she saved three very expensive implants. I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Nordic Dental. If I lived in Sydney, Anna would be my dentist forever! I’ll be sure to book appointments every time I come to Manly, just to ensure everything is OK. If you are lucky enough to live in Manly or nearby you should see her. Your teeth will appreciate it. UPDATE i was back in Manly recently for my annual vacation and the first thing on my agenda wasn’t the beach or casual restaurants or excellent ice cream shops. It was a visit to Nordic Dental where I saw my favorite dentist, Dr. Anna and her wonderful team. I’ve had chronic issues for many years with some of my teeth and no dentist to date has been able to resolve them. Until I came under the care of Dr. Anna. She was the first to accurately diagnose the problems and provide a plan to resolve them. She’s deeply knowledgeable about every aspect of dentistry, highly qualified as a surgeon and an expert on implants. Plus, she has all the latest technology to give her a detailed diagnostic view of my teeth and gums so she can plan treatments for the best possible outcomes. I would strongly recommend a visit to see how effective her treatments can be, from basic cleaning, braces, implants, gum repair and everything else related to your teeth.

Fantastic experience: We took both our children girl (7) and boy (11). They had such an amazing experience. Our daughter required fillings and teeth pulled which was quite a task. Anna made the journey so great that our daughter was EXCITED for each visit. Never heard of anyone who wanted to go to the dentist, yet alone a 7 yr old who just had a tooth pulled out !! Well done Anna & team !!

Fantastic experience: The best and most gentle dentist in Sydney! If you’re a nervous and anxious patient you’ll be so pleased you found Dr Anna. I’ve never felt so relaxed and at ease at the dentist and she takes the pain free component seriously. She’s so knowledgeable and takes into account your entire health history, not just related to your teeth.

Fantastic experience: I had been putting off going to the dentist for a while as I was expecting to get multiple fillings and a possible wisdom tooth extraction. Haven't had the best experiences in the past (to say the least) so was a bit nervous about it all. Nonetheless I persevered and was lucky enough to stumble across Anna at Nordic Dental and her wonderful team. 6 weeks later I've now had two feelings and a wisdom tooth removal and couldn't be happier! Having heard the horror stories from friends and family regarding wisdom teeth removal, I was in disbelief when Anna told me my wisdom tooth had been removed without me even realising it was out. No giant forcepts here! Anna is super gentle, caring and knowledgeable and takes the time to walk you through the process before you begin. Who knew visiting the dentist could be such a lovely experience! Thanks!

Fantastic experience: Anna is amazing!! After avoiding “The Dentist “ for many years I decided to make some changes in my life. My sister and her fam had relocated from NYC and discovered Nordic Dental. After hearing about their experience I decided to roll the dice and jump onboard. What an experience. Being 6’6” not much scares me other than needles, doctors and “The Dentist”. My Viking instincts kicked in when I first stepped foot into Anna’s practice, and then I was greeted by my smiling 5’3” Viking sister and felt at home. Anna’s whole approach to her staff and patients goes above and beyond. Her professionalism, compassion, care and sense of humor is why I am writing this review. Never in my life did I think that I would be writing a positive review about “The Dentist ” well folks there are Dentists out there that care about their patients, and have fun along the way. Anna has set up a treatment plan specifically to what I need. Each step along the way she has educated me on the process in a way that us non dentists understand. The technology she has on hand makes NASA nervous. The practice makes you feel at home with the garden walls, reading material and fish tank. It is a family practice, her sons and husband all chip in. For me that goes along way. I have nothing other than praises for Nordic Dental and actually look forward to my appointments. Hats off to you Anna, the world needs more of you.

Fantastic experience: Anna is the best doctor and dentist I have ever had, taking professional care of me when I was in such pain (dry socket) after a wisdome tooth removal back in Sweden. I had just arrived to Australia and was afraid this was going to be critical but Anna helped me during a couple of weeks to get well Also at a very good/low cost. I am grateful for having met Anna and will recommend her to everyone!

Fantastic experience: I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Anna .She is caring & sincere whilst making sure her patient is well informed & completely comfortable & reassured with the procedure to come as well as post procedure care..I have had several tooth extractions elsewhere always with the aid of gas & sedation medication.. I was extremely nervous & terribly hesitant to have an extraction without..... however I did indeed go through with an extraction yesterday without both.. the saving grace for me was the noise cancelling head phones that I was offered with the music of my choice... an absolute % positive experience..in fact I was so surprised at just how much difference it made & how I was mentally so calm & relaxed listening to my favourite music rather than the instruments in my mouth...Anna made sure I was comfortable physically in the chair... also offering paw paw ointment for extra comfort of my lips prior to beginning the procedure.. I hope that any nervous potential patients can be convinced to visit Anna after reading about my positive experience..p.s... Anna's care continued as she phoned me at home to check on me.. just completely dedicated to her patients.. thank you Anna......newly converted Sandy

Fantastic experience: Anna is absolutely recommended. I had an excellent experience with her. I've been going to the dentist since I was a child, and it has always been hard for me. But Dr. Anna changed my view of dental visits. I never felt pain or fear with her. My mouth has completely changed thanks to her. I'm very grateful for her help and care. She is the best!!! Fantastic experience: I hadn't visited the dentist in over 5 years, and was very anxious about going (actively avoiding going like a standard male). Anna and the team and Nordic Dental made me feel very comfortable and cared for during the whole experience. It turned out that I needed to have a wisdom tooth out, which made me extremely anxious. Anna was very supportive the whole time and gave me the confidence to sit through it in the chair without sedation. During the procedure, Anna took extra time to calm my nerves and didn't rush a single part of the extraction. I was so worried about the pain of the needle and extraction but I didn't feel a thing!! I highly recommend Nordic Dental to anyone looking for a new practitioner or anyone who has been avoiding seeing a dentist out of fear. Trust me you're in good hands

Fantastic experience: After 65 yrs. of visiting the dentist I can only say how impressed I was with Nordic Dental and the team. The technology used by Dr. Anna was incredible. Cleaning my teeth was pain free, relaxing and like nothing I have ever experienced before. My teeth have never felt so clean! To say Anna was thorough and knowledgeable is an understatement, simply the best dental experience! So much so a week later for the first time, I had in chair teeth whitening, with the headphones, online streaming and the care of the team at Nordic Dental it was a relaxing, pain free and enjoyable experience, plus my teeth look amazing! Fantastic experience: Dr Anna is brilliant. I’m very anxious about going to the dentist and struggle to find someone who is both compassionate and skilled - Anna fits the bill! I was brand new to the country at the start of the year and quickly developed a delayed-onset infection from my wisdom tooth extraction months prior. I came to Anna on a public holiday, in pain and scared. She looked after me so well and continued to check in a care for me during my healing process. She prioritised my health and made herself available for me when problems arose. I’ve never experienced such fantastic care, Anna has been my guardian angel since I moved to Sydney, I cannot recommend Nordic Dental enough!!

In Germany, I was privately insured and was accustomed to good medical care, but Nordic Dental has far exceeded this once again. The team, especially Anna and Rocio, were super nice, funny, empathetic, and highly professional. Every step is explained in detail using the latest equipment. I was always asked about my well-being, experienced no pain during any procedure, which was unfamiliar to me, and honestly I have never received such a thorough dental cleaning. What particularly impressed me was the passion with which both of them practice their profession. Here, it truly isn't about money and time savings but about the health and well-being of the patient. Fantastic experience: As a dentist myself it is always a challenge to find somebody you can trust not only with your own oral health but that of your family. I have known Dr Sahafi professionally for some years and have always been highly impressed with her knowledge, personality and skills. I therefore had no hesitation in allowing her to treat myself, and my daughter. She is gentle, a wonderful communicator and incredibly ethical. Her clinic is equipped to the highest standard and the levels of cross infection control are exemplary. Definitely worthy of five stars.

Fantastic experience: Finally! After 13 years of being on a constant quest to find a dentist who is at least as good as mine in Germany, I have found Anna and her team! I am so grateful as I’m really feeling taking care of! Due to my periodontitis I have extremely sensitive teeth and since I arrived in Australia, I have never had a painless dental cleaning not to mention other procedures which I couldn’t do without anaesthesia. Fantastic experience: Undoubtedly the best dental-related experience I've ever had. From the first day I visited her dental clinic, I’ve felt as though I’ve been cared for and treated like family by Dr Anna and her team at Manly Nordic Dental. Usually I am very anxious about going to the dentist but Anna spent much time explaining what needs to be done and provided super valuable advice. I have now visited the dentist twice in two weeks (which is unheard for me who has avoided going to the dentist for many years!!) - and both times were as great experience as you can have at the dentist :) (and no pain at all!!). I am booked in again for next week and plan to bring my three young boys to get their teeth checked out.
