Fantastic experience: I had been avoiding the dentist for many years thanks to some pretty average experiences as a teenager. I told the staff my worries and Dr Hybre was awesome. She was gentle and spoke to me throughout so there were no surprises, and her and her assistant (I think it was Katrina?) were professional and comforting for someone like me who isn't as brave as I'd like to think. I strongly recommend them.

Negative experience: I recently visited this dental surgery for a routine check-up, and the experience left me quite disappointed. The entire appointment lasted less than five minutes. They took an X-ray, briefly looked at my teeth, and told me everything was perfectly fine and that I had no issues at all. Unfortunately, that turned out not to be true. Not long after, I discovered I actually needed a filling...something that should have been identified during the check-up, especially given that an X-ray and hands-on assessment were supposedly done. It’s frustrating and concerning that a dentist could miss such an obvious issue. I’m sharing this so others are aware and can make more informed decisions before booking here. Everyone deserves proper care and attention when it comes to their dental health.

Fantastic experience: Legana Dental is a great dental practice. Dr Theo and Dr Hybre are very gentle, kind and patient. Our youngest has ASD and we could never get him into the dental chair but the first time we went there, 5 years ago, with Hybre and Theo he hops right in and recently had his first tooth out. He’s 10! Both talk to us while we are in the chair which is very reassuring. All the staff are helpful, supportive and make it easy. Highly recommend Legana Dental ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Legana Dental. I called them as a new patient (as I just wanted to try a new dentist and they were more local) with tooth and jaw pain and they were very accommodating. When I called to say my pain had gotten worse they put me on a cancellation list and I was lucky to get an appointment a couple of days later (a week earlier). My dentist Hybré was amazing. Very caring and compassionate. She explained everything very well. For someone that hates going to the dentist I would have no qualms about seeing her again

Dr Theo and his dental nurse were wonderful at putting me at ease. They explained everything as they were doing the procedure and I felt calm and relaxed as they proceeded to do what needed to be done. All I can say is it's the best experience I've ever had at a dentist. have found a place where I will be happy to return to when I need future treatment. I highly recommend them, too.

Affordable (compared with prices of those in town), professional staff, the practice was very modern and felt clean, Rachel was ever so patient with my multiple appt changes and the dentist (who I regrettably forgot his name) had a level of care and communication with no rush that completely calmed my nervousness.

Fantastic experience: Whilst travelling in Tasmania I found I needed an emergency appointment and visited Legana Dental. After being in the dental industry for over 40 years I know a good dentist from a bad one and was so pleased with the care and attention given at the practice. Dr Theo and the team are so very professional and most important are excellent practitioners. It's such a shame I couldn't get some of the treatment I required completed due to travelling but if I was to be living here this would be my practice of choice. I have no hesitation in recommending this practice.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend going here. I have had a dentist phobia for as long as I can remember (I'm 55). For me it has always been dentist=pain. If the water is too cold when I brush my teeth they will hurt. I had sleepless nights and anxiety, I have been travelling from Ulverstone to Legana for appointments with Dr Theo Nel, he is very patient, understanding and kind. I have felt no pain and his dental work is outstanding. I will be going for my regular checkups and my phobia has vanished. Everybody I have met there has been very friendly and caring.

The professional and caring environment with extremely well trained and knowledgeable staff who were able to do book me in for an extrction the same day and had me out the door in under 45 minutes and to top it all off having the most reasonable price I have ever seen! Why go any where else!
