David Trigger is a truly outstanding dental professional who demonstrates integrity, compassion and a genuine dedication to patient wellbeing. He communicates with me during every step of the procedures, making sure I'm ok and not in too much pain. In the last couple of years, I had great pain with a bottom molar and chipped eye tooth. On both occasions the reception staff kindly squeezed me in - and all my worries were fully addressed. During regular checkups with David, I have felt very comfortable with any questions fully answered. I feel so lucky to have found David and his Dream Team at WDS. Happy New Year everyone. Fantastic experience: We see Dr Caitlin Crowley and Dr Neha Suri, who are fantastic dentists in every way. They always take time with me and my children. If I cannot be seen by my preferred dentist, the reception team always offer for me to see someone else. As a result I can always be seen by someone and my kids have no apprehension about seeing any of the wonderful dentists. We are always cared for. It looks like a fun place to work too.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to Wanniassa Dental a few times now and always feel well looked after. The team is friendly and professional, and they make the whole process easy — from booking to treatment. The dentists are great at explaining things in a way that makes sense, and I’ve never felt rushed or uncomfortable. Fantastic experience: I continue to travel from the Northern Territory to have all my dentals checkups and work done at Wanniassa Dental Surgery. I’ve done this for the past 5 years. It’s one of the few dental practices I am comfortable with and trust. Paul is an amazing dentist and the staff at the practice are always professional and pleasant to deal with.

Fantastic experience: I normally visit a dentist in Belconnen on a regular basis. Recently I had a very sore tooth, but my dentist couldn’t see me for several days. My ex-wife, who lives in Tuggeranong, suggested I try the Wanniassa surgery as she has been a regular patient there for some time and recommended them. I rang the surgery, although they were very busy and I was in pain, they squeezed me between 2 patients, I was very appreciative. Although they didn’t extract the tooth at the time, they treated me, relieved my pain and booked me in to have the tooth removed. The staff were very friendly, professional and went out of their way to help me. Despite the distance from home to the surgery, over 30km, I will continue to be their patient. I couldn’t be happier with their service and the bill was very reasonable. I definitely highly recommend them

Negative experience: The dentist was very nice BUT.. I booked weeks ahead via phone for two children. I advised that I wanted to use the Medicare dental scheme which is plastered all over both their and the company websites. On the morning of the appointments I was phoned to advise they couldn’t put through claims and I would need to pay up front and claim back. So of course there were a few fillings, X-rays and cleans added. All up it was $1750 upfront and when Medicare refunded 5 days later I was only reimbursed for $1000. So the costs are far higher than the Medicare child claims and we should have been advised (I was told at least 80-90% back). As a mum on a carer pension this is completely unacceptable it has added considerable unexpected financial pressure to our family. My children qualified for community dental I could have utilised this if the dental surgery was up front. Everyone was friendly but the misguided and hidden information was really terrible so I am giving one star for not being forthcoming with costs and out of pocket expenses. We won’t be back.

Fantastic experience: I came back to Dr Malyadri after moving interstate, and I’m so glad I did. She’s always friendly, reliable, and thorough with check-ups and cleans. I’ve also had a great experience with more complex work like my stent and cap tooth. It's been hard to find another dentist as good!

Negative experience: Very disappointed with our visit. I took my 5-year-old daughter in because her baby tooth hasn’t fallen out even though the adult tooth has been growing in for over 2 months. I clearly explained my concerns — food gets stuck between the teeth, it’s hard for her to clean, and I’m worried about the permanent tooth being pushed out of position. The dentist barely looked at her tooth, examined her for less than a minute, and kept refusing to extract it without giving a proper explanation. I felt completely dismissed as a parent, even though I live with my child every day and know her situation best. Still had to pay $120 for a consultation that felt rushed and unhelpful. Definitely not coming back to this clinic, especially not to this dentist.

Negative experience: My mother went to get a quote for a new denture and was charged $110 for it. The reception insisted that it needs to be paid as it is for an oral examination, but it was a denture quote only. She is healthy orally, and no examination was conducted nor was required! She has been getting quotes elsewhere, but no other places charge for a quote. My mother ended up paying for it, but she is very uncomfortable and wants me to share her experience with you all.

Fantastic experience: I had a great fear of dentists till I found Dr Saritha - she has a magic touch and solved my dental problems brilliantly.

She was kind, caring and understanding with my previous dental experiences and was extremely through with discussing my dental issues. Instead of offering me an expensive alternative to rectify the issues with my teeth, I was offered a different treatment plan that was affordable, effective and provided the same outcome. Refreshing to attend a dental surgery that have the needs of the patient first and foremost and not selling expensive procedures.

Fantastic experience: I accompanied a good friend to Wanniassa Dental Surgury yesterday, because she was having a lot of trouble with a tooth. They solved the problem quickly. Saritha, David, Janelle, Taylor and Divya were all really professional, kind and respectful. I was so impressed.

Fantastic experience: Have been to this surgery twice now. Both times appointments were on time, service was professional and prices on par with other dentists in Canberra.

Negative experience: I am a new client to visit Wanniassa Dental Surgery. Was the last appointment and I had to wait half an hour of my own time. Pushing my appointment into closing time. Not sure if going it's normal for going to a dentist to be finished in 15 minutes and charged $150 for a 12 minute clean and $90 for a 3 minute inspection? That's a shade under $1000 an hour! Nothing about my time waiting over half an hour though, but a "smile" and "sorry" . My teeth didn't even feel that clean afterwards unlike being to the dentist in the past, good thing I didn't get anything else done! I'll be ringing other dentists for process next time as I write that almost $100/hr isn't the standard.
