Fantastic experience: I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Baz. My previous dentist referred me to a specialist for a tooth extraction, and that specialist insisted on doing it under general anaesthesia in a hospital—quoting an absolutely astronomical price that was way out of reach. Desperate for a better option, I found Dr. Baz, and I'm so glad I did. He performed the extraction with complete ease, minimal discomfort during the procedure, and almost none afterward. The cost was reasonable and fair—no hidden surprises or excessive fees. Since that first visit, Dr. Baz has become my go-to dentist. He takes the time to clearly explain every step of any procedure, works with great care and obvious experience, and even provides thoughtful aftercare follow-ups purely out of courtesy (no extra charge). His calm, professional manner makes even nerve-wracking dental work feel straightforward and stress-free. Fantastic experience: Dr Baz and the rest of the team are fantastic. I came to their clinic after being quoted an astronomical amount for dental work elsewhere that I just could not justify the cost of. I am not used to dental services not advertising prices where I'm from (UK) so when The Dental Standard was one of only a tiny handful of fixed price dentistry practices in Brisbane, I decided to make the lengthy drive over to Taringa to get a second opinion from Dr Baz. I had to have several fillings repaired or added to that had been done poorly elsewhere and Baz did a great job, fixing pain I have had for several months. I am now in the process of getting a tooth replaced with an implant after a nasty infection I've had for a while but couldn't afford to fix until recently. Pricing is totally transparent and very reasonable and all quotes provided upfront are comprehensive and fair. Even though I still need a lot of dental work, Dr Baz and team actively try to make treatment as affordable as possible and I'm grateful for his conservatism i.e. not suggesting every treatment under the sun while I'm trying to be careful with money. Any time I have had tooth pain, or queries post extraction and bone grafting, etc. and asked for advice via phone or email, Dr Baz and the team have responded promptly and thoroughly and are always so helpful and kind. Baz also makes sure to explain stuff in a way that is easy to understand and most importantly, doesn't lecture! In the last 24 hours, for example, I've been experiencing a possible dental emergency with my 2nd/3rd molars, and even though I had to go to ED due to possible airway compromise, Baz followed up with me early this morning to make sure I would get the right treatment for my issue and is squeezing me in for an emergency review today to ensure I get the most appropriate treatment quickly. Fantastic experience: I had my top 8 veneers done with Dr Baz he’s amazing from start to finish. Anyone wanting veneers done I would recommend booking in with Baz. Their pricing is much more affordable than most places and a lot of time and effort is put in not just from Dr Baz but their reception as well. I’m not local to Brisbane so I had to fly there and the team made my veneers possible with just 2 trips! I had some severe pain afterwards initially so I contacted Dr Baz and they made every effort to keep in contact to make sure my reaction was under control and my pain subsided quickly but was reassuring knowing that the team were checking up on me to make sure I was ok and I now have perfect teeth and confidence to smile. Fantastic experience: After being told by my dentist that I needed a root canal on a molar and being referred to a specialist, I reached out to The Dental Standard Taringa due to their competitive pricing. They reviewed my x-rays and confirmed they would give the root canal a shot. Upon my visit, Dr. Baz was incredibly friendly and recommended performing additional x-rays and tests before proceeding with the treatment. During his assessment, he identified some unusual symptoms and suggested that I may have been previously misdiagnosed. Rather than rushing into a root canal, he carefully removed an existing filling and replaced it with a different type, which completely resolved my issue! This not only saved my tooth but also eliminated the need for a root canal. What impressed me the most was Dr. Baz’s integrity and patient-first approach. Most dentists would have simply followed through with the referral and performed the costly treatment, but he genuinely cared about finding the best solution for me rather than focusing on profit. Fantastic experience: The story of my pearl whiteeees, Before I would sit into the dentist's chair for an All on 4 procedure I was a bit concerned . So I did extensive research on local dentistry narrowing my choices down for just a few. Of those Dental Standard Taringa was by far the most convincing to proceed with. Not only because they are offering fix prices on they dental services but Dr Baz and Dr Kapil Raniga were happy to give me sufficient info on that many questions I've had in my mind in regards of the procedure. 17/Feb/2023-Implant surgery day: In local anaesthesia-11 extractions + 5 implants placed During the surgery felt no pain at all I had no swollen face from the procedure which I am crediting to Dental Surgeon Dr Kapil's careful and detailed planning and gentle approach to execute that implant surgery. 21/Feb/2023- Temp bridge loaded on the implants. After a few check up appointments FFW to 24/Aug - final press and scans performed to get ready the Million Buk smile:) 28/Sep/2023-Fitment of the final , Zirconia bridge It feels ,fits perfectly and it gave back an excellent look thanks for the meticulous work put in to have that brilliant outcome. Many thanks for Dr Kapil and Dr Baz and the kind assistants at DTS namely Amanda and Macey who cared for my dental needs all this time. Fantastic experience: Honestly the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I was a little dubious of “is it too good to be true”, but the practice was everything I had hoped for and more. After fracturing a molar, I made an appointment and my tooth has been saved. The procedure was warm and friendly, not like the clinical and anxiety-inducing visits I’ve had previously. It was all over in less time than it took awaiting the anaesthetic to work. Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff, Dr Baz instantly builds rapport and makes you feel safe and cared for. I’ll be moving all my family’s dental work over to this practice. It’s more than worth the hour drive.

Fantastic experience: A couple months ago I was fairly indecisive about choosing where to go for a dental crown. Even after combing through many google reviews, I couldn't really find much info about people's experiences with crowns specifically. Therefore I'll do you all a favour. I've researched this extensively and ended up going with The Dental Standard - Taringa. This was based on a combination of excellent pricing, solid track record, modern facilities and equipment, and skilful staff. I am posting a couple of months after the procedure and I couldn't be happier with the results. I have no hesitation in recommending these guys if you are needing a crown.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a new clinic as my dentist of 8 years had left his previous practice. I came across the dental standard on Facebook and decided to give it a try. I was a bit sceptical, given that the prices were cheap, but was only after a general check-up and clean. I had Dr Baz and his assistant Amanda (thank you again if you're reading this review) attend to me. Dr Baz was very personable, sincere, transparent and most importantly had light hands. He explained every detail and answered each question I had in normal talk so I could understand. I think I have found my new dentist, and will definitely be coming back. P.S Oh and i nearly forgot the helpful front desk staff (Gabby I think it was) was very friendly and patient with the initial paperwork (technically not paperwork as it was all digital)

Fantastic experience: I can't speak highly enough of these guys. Firstly, I went in for a veneer of my front tooth, Dr. Sahbaz told my upfront exactly how much everything would cost so I didn't have any hidden surprises, and even took the time to place on a temporary veneer to show me what the finished result would look like. After having an X-ray done and showing me the veneer I decided to think about it, and Dr. Baz was happy to let me leave after giving x-rays and an inspection free of charge! Any other dentist surely would have charged me hundreds by this point. I decided to go back in and get the veneer, Dr. Baz and his assistant were happy to take me in and the whole procedure went perfectly. A couple of weeks later I accidentally chipped my veneer and Dr. Baz took me in and repaired the chip completely free of charge. Dr. Baz and his assistant are super professional, very friendly and very good at what they do. With their upfront pricing and warranties on certain procedures, you have no worries about what it might cost you when the bill comes. Long story short if you're going to any other dentist, you're making a mistake haha. These guys are hands down the best!

Fantastic experience: I had not been to the dentist in a long while before I started regularly coming to the dental standard. This was no ones fault but my own as the sheer thought of going terrified me for ages, partly due to the horror stories I would hear from my colleagues and family about feeling humiliated or uncomfortable at other places. I can honestly say each and every experience with the dental standard has been so pleasant and far from what I imagined. My dentist, Baz, is highly skilled, non judgemental and truly professional. Fantastic experience: I had a toothache that needed an urgent appointment before the weekend and these guys slotted me in on such short notice which I'm so grateful for! Dr Baz explained my options to me but that my wisdom tooth would need removal eventually so I did so the same day. The process was very smooth and the team were super gentle with me as I was quite scared during the extraction process. The dental assistants even gave me bubble wrap to help ease my shaking. Also, the TV playing Friends on the ceiling really helped! Never been to a dentist that had that feature and I have to say the thought that's gone into this clinic is phenomenal. The x-ray machine does a full 360 of your head (I've only ever had one with an image of each side). The clinic is truly state of the art, very welcoming, with the best team and best prices! Would 100% recommend, you're in safe hands with these guys. Very grateful for such a positive experience, thank you Dr Baz and the team!

Fantastic experience: For the last year, all I have wanted is to get my teeth fixed. Dentist after dentist I never got the answers I was looking for until today! The Dental Standard in Taringa was a suggestion on google, and I decided to look into their pricing and it was better than any other pricing i had been quoted in the Brisbane area. So I thought, why not go and see if they can help me. From the moment I arrived at the store I was greeted by friendly people, and all my questions were answered thoroughly, and the dentist explained to me exactly how he was going to help my issues - that every other dentist said “maybe” to.
