Fantastic experience: Having a lot of bad times at dental clinic I came in expecting the worst but the staff were amazing and made the whole experience less daunting. Everyone exceeded expectations with great attitudes and professionalism

Fantastic experience: I would recommend this place if someone wants to do dental implants. They will look after you from receptionist, doctors, surgeon , practitioner. As i experience there’s no such thing as no pain. it will start to feel pain on the beginning process as going through the process, the pain and discomfort will dissipates . And of course your discipline to yourself will be a great help to recover fast. Eat necessary food, give more nutrients that will help your overall health. Follow their advice because they know the best for you.And the most important thing be positive and trust their hand , you are in good hands. As of now I have an awesome smile to share with people around me. Come and ask for advice/recommendation it will surely bring back your own natural smile. Ciao

Fantastic experience: Having had teeth pain for years and bad breath I decided to start looking at having my teeth fixed as it’s been an issue with my health and the constant infections. I had spoken with a few dentist from Mackay , Emerald, Moranbah and Townsville I decided to go with Dentist at healthlink as they made the whole process so easy and I wasn’t getting the run around that I was getting from the other dentists . I was made to feel very comfortable and reassured throughout the whole journey. I had chosen to have a General anesthetic Which was performed in the Dental surgery A little over four hours later, I had had all my upper teeth removed and implants placed in. The pain level was not as bad as what I thought it would be and the next day I had a temporary set of teeth placed in. Roughly 3 weeks after this, I had my second set of teeth placed in which helps set my gums for my final teeth, After a few months, my final teeth arrived, and I could not have been any happier in this process. I also had crowns placed in the bottom teeth . Throughout the whole journey, it’s been life-changing for me, not having smelly breath anymore, and feeling confident to smile. Every part of the whole process was explained on every visit and felt so comfortable being there. I wasn’t nervous at all, and as we all know, most people don’t like going to the dentist. Living quite some distance from Townsville it was easy to make appointments and schedule appointments to work around traveling to Townsville or the practice At ChartersTowers. If you’re ever looking to have your teeth fixed up or to have implants put in Or any dental surgery I highly recommend going to Dentist at Healthlink Thank you so much to Dr. Girish and all his staff and Maz at the front desk for helping me with all the appointments , this has been a life-changing experience for me and something I should’ve done years ago. I highly recommend going there if you ever need any Dental work done. I have some friends that have also had the same procedure done and they wish they had went to the same dentist I did as they have been mucked around from fly in and fly out dentist from Brisbane up to Mackay. My teeth (implants) look fabulous, very happy with Dr Girish, an outstanding human and very particular and precise to ensure the best outcome. couldn’t be happier with my end result. Special mention also to Maz who was always kind, welcoming and a breathe of fresh air. I’ve had so much dental work throughout my life and this place and Girish are 5 star, can highly recommend. My self eseteem and self confidence was at an all time low when I went in - I was so embarrassed about the state of my teeth. I had severe dental associated PTSD from childhood and previous work done incorrectly and was so very tired of being judged by other Dentists I had seen previously about getting help. I genuinely needed help as I was in a lot of pain. Dentist at Healthlink staff (From the reception team, to all the dental nurses/assistants and the Dentists themsevles) are all so kind, non judgmental, extremely understanding, and very welcoming- and made the entire process painless in more ways than one. Negative experience: First appointment went well. Second appointment, dental assistant pushed suction tube hard into the back of my throat while dentist was preparing for a filling, I gagged and feel a tooth had a piece cracked of it, removed piece of tooth from my mouth being very concerned, was disregarded and told was a piece of filling that had that failed she was removing? Third appointment was told had two small fillings next to each other (two molars), she ground a decent amount of tooth away then took photos to show me the hole, ground more to remove "the decayed area of the tooth". am sure I lost about 20% of each tooth. Lost pressure on the back teeth and ended up with pressure on front teeth. Requested meeting with practice manager. Got all sorts of stories including "a jaw is a basic hinge joint open close only". I tried explaining that is incorrect you have forward and back, left to right movement to grind food. Consumer beware... Thats because i didnt include my surname..

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this clinic for about 2 years and have very happy with the timeliness and standard of care. Doc Girish and his team recently completed a tooth implant for me. I am thrilled with the final result. Throughout the whole process he explained each step as we progressed and answered all my questions which eased any concerns or worries I had. When we moved out of town before the final procedure could be completed, they were happy to negotiate a time when I could return to finalise my implant. If I had to have this procedure again I would absolutely have Doc Girish and his team of professionals perform it for me. Thank you so much for your care, patience and thoughtfulness.

Fantastic experience: My family and l have used this dental clinic since it opened. My children all required braces which all the staff went above and beyond to achieve a very high outcome. Their normal dentistry work is also of very high standard and they make you feel very comfortable and welcoming and they put you at ease if you are an anxious patient. 5 stars are not enough l rate them 10 out of 10. I have also recommended this clinic to my friends, which they now use.

Fantastic experience: I had extremely high anxiety coming in to the dentist. But after seeing Dr Girish, I am much less anxious at the thought of going to the dentist. I had multiple treatments done in 1 appointment & he made the whole experience much more plesant than I've had in the past. Thank you Dr Girish, you have helped me more than you think.

Fantastic experience: My 9yo son had an extra tooth growing in the roof of his mouth behind his front teeth which was really bothering him and he needed to have it pulled out. My son has Autism and struggles with anxiety, taste, touch, smell etc which made this procedure a little difficult even with all the preparation prior to his appointment. Dr Girish Basavaraj and his team were absolutely AMAZING and so patient with my son and his specific needs. They talked to my son about his fears and explained the procedure step by step with him so patiently even though having to repeat themselves several times as he was so anxious and scared. My son was struggling big time mentally with the numbing gel and needle and although he was asked if he wanted to stop the procedure and go home, my son wanted to continue with the procedure because he felt safe and heard. At the appointment there were times he became a little hysterical and i thought there was no way we were leaving with that tooth out BUT i was pleasantly surprised. Dr Girish Basavaraj and his team helped my son get through this difficult time and although it hurt a little, my son left that dental clinic happy and extremely proud of himself. We have tried a couple of dental clinics since moving here but we have definitely found the right fit for my son as they achieved what i thought was going to be the impossible. Dr Girish Basavaraj even called us personally the following day to check on my son and his recovery. Now that is definitely not service we get everyday. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone especially those with similar circumstances which can be a challenge. They were extremely professional yet so compassionate. Definitely deserving of 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience at Dentist @ Health Link. As a person that was terrified of the dentist I can now say I go with no anxiety thanks to Dr Girish and his professional caring team. He saved my teeth by diagnosing periodontal disease and guided me through the whole process so now I have healthy gums. After a discussion around my crooked smile, Dr G identified that I would not require braces and with two veneers I could change the whole look of my smile within two short visits. I am so happy with the results, I love my new smile and feel much more confident overall. Highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: I took my 2 kids, 14 yr and 6yr, for a dental check with Dr Girish at Healthlink. Suffice to say, our experience was brilliant. Arranging an appointment was efficient, and staff receptive. Dr Girish took pains to explain processes in a very child friendly manner, and he was very courteous and professional. Fantastic experience: I first meet Doctor G on a Saturday in 2015, I was in significant pain with an abscesses under my tooth. I remember when making the appointment I said to receptions that I was in a lot of pain, my appointment was made for 2:00pm. I no sooner got of the telephone and it rang, it was Doctor G's receptionist who said to me Doctor G wants you come down now. I walked in, filled in some easy paper work and had my picture taken. Doctor G took me into the treatment room and looked at me and said, " I am not going to do anything until I stop the pain". Doctor G stopped the pain, I was terrified, I have a very really fear of the dentist, always have done since I was a small child. Doctor G, knew instinctively what was happening in my mouth. His nurse held my hand and gently rubbed my arm, Doctor G constantly checked that I was okay, he would stop and ask, "are you okay"? At that time I was pain free, prescribed medication for the abscesses and pain relief medication. I had several follow up appointments to fix this one tooth, and finally had root canal treatment. I still have this tooth and it is still pain free. Doctor G then made some assessment around all of my teeth, so the journey began, every two to three weeks I returned to Doctor G to have fillings replaced, new fillings added and my teeth cleaned. I built a beautiful and trusting relationship with this amazing man and his wonderful staff. Yesterday 16/10/2019 I had my six (6) month check up and clean, not one once of pain or discomfort, I am so grateful to Doctor G that I now have very healthy and very clean teeth. I look forward to my check ups and have no fear whatsoever. I have recommended Doctor G to many friends and family, funnily enough they too had fear of the dentist but like me they rave about this amazing and gentle man. My husband who also had a fear of dentist, he also heads off every six (6) months for his check up without the blink of an eye. Thank you Doctor G and your amazing staff for having a positive and life changing impact. As I mentioned, I have recommended Doctor G to my family and friends and we all appreciate his professional, gentle and caring persona. Fantastic experience: I took my mom to Dr Girish for an appointment as she was experiencing severe pain in one of her tooth. The receptionist was very welcoming and kind. The assistants were so kind, informative, and calming. My mother has a strong aversion to dentists after some of her past experiences. Dr. Girish was so invested, understanding, and comforting that it felt more like an informative appointment than just being at the dentist. Fantastic experience: Dr. Girish has been my dentist from past 4 years. I have had various procedures including root canal and implants. He is very professional and provides excellent customer service. He gives ample information beforehand and gives various options depending on our circumstances. He is very patient and his deep baritone certainly helps in calming nerves!! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Dr Girish Basavaraj is an extremely professional and skilled dentist. I had to have 3 of my wisdom teeth removed and was quite anxious anticipating pain. However the whole procedure was over very quickly and was painless. Dr Girish explained the steps clearly and provided aftercare information beforehand. He showed me the scans and explained the areas where I needed to take particular care. I would highly recommend him and will definitely go back to him for all my future dental needs.
