Fantastic experience: Having undergone full dental restoration that’s taken many years. Dr Modi has been there through this process. Dr Modi has always been professional, available and pleasant. Started the journey at another practice in Devonport and followed Dr Modi to Mersey Dental. The staff from the admin to the dental nurses are fabulous. If there was more than 5 stars then that’s what I would choose.

Fantastic experience: My last 3 appointments at Mersey Dental, were undertaken in relative quick succession to replace a bridge. Tess kept me well informed about the process, checked in regularly regarding my well being throughout the appointment and obviously has a very proficient dental technician in Melbourne who has created a top of the range bridge that aesthetically and practically speaking, couldn't be better. All the dental assistants over each appointment were attentive and I felt very well looked after. Front of desk always welcoming and friendly. Thanks so much for your care and expertise. Philippa

Fantastic experience: I found the Mersey Dental absolutely fantastic. I went in to book an appointment as my tooth had been hurting for up to 10 weeks. I explained that I was in great pain and they gave me dentist appointment within 2 to 3 hours. After they checked the gum and the tooth, they explained not much could be done at the present time due to the swelling and pain. They gave me a script to go get some antibiotics. Once the swelling went down, the pain stopped, they remove the tooth within a day and a 1/2. They explained everything so well, they sat and talked to me after the extraction to see how I was travelling. They explained what I needed to do, now the tooth had been removed, and they made a follow-up phone call, just to see how I was travelling. It can't get much better than that. Well done Mersey Dental.

Fantastic experience: I’d like to leave two reviews. On my mums behalf and mine. Unfortunately, there aren’t enough stars to give to this place, I would rate it 100+. My mum was suffering from severe tooth pain towards the beginning of the Easter long weekend. I called all the dentists in the North West, but no one could take her in for an emergency. Only you guys booked her in first thing in the morning with Dr. John, and he did an excellent job extracting her tooth. She was very satisfied; he was very gentle. Also called and booked her for a follow-up check-up in two weeks free of charge. Now, for my review. A few weeks ago, my old filling from different doctor broke out, and half of my tooth came out. It was shocking, but luckily, there was no pain. I booked an appointment with Dr. John, and he performed an exceptional job again. He filled my broken tooth, and it not only feels amazing but looks great too. Today, I had a general check-up and hygiene cleaning of my top teeth, and Dr. John did a great job. He efficiently and neatly cleaned them. I’m very satisfied with my results and overall experience. I’ve booked my further appointments and can’t wait to get my teeth healthy and clean again. Thank you very much for doing a great service.

Fantastic experience: Thank you for the professional & caring dental work Arshia & her team do. I have had two rather complex procedures recently and I’m grateful for their expertise and state of the art equipment in use.

Fantastic experience: We drove up today from Launceston to have the laser tongue tie procedure for our 4 month old. It’s something that I have been quite nervous and anxious about in the lead up, but as soon as we arrived and met Dr Pohan and his team we were put at ease. He took his time carefully explaining things, making sure we understood, let us know about any potential risks and talked us through the procedure and the expectations. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming and kind. We waited in a different room while the procedure was happening but it only took about 5 minutes for all 4 of our babies ties to be removed. We couldn’t be any more appreciate of Dr. Pohan & his team for all their efforts today. Would highly recommend

Negative experience: My son went to this dentist to look at a tooth that was cracked on the top. He need the tooth rebuilt. He was charged $520 ! He was give a anesthetic and a full mouth exray which was not needed. Was also charge a consultation which was unnecessary as you could see the tooth was cracked on top He need the tooth rebuilt but was told he needed it to be removed. The dentist also left a piece of the tooth in my sons mouth. How can a qualified dentist miss a piece of tooth that was sticking into the side of his mouth ? Rang the receptionist and she could not get the prices for this work correct and could not explain why he was charged a extra $20 ! I ask for a part refund as the dentist left a piece of tooth in my sons gum which he had to extract himself. She said that she would not return part of the money for this poorly done extraction. Another case of dentist ripping people off and unnecessary costs. This is disgraceful. Will be contacting the appropriate agency's to report this dentist.

Negative experience: They cancel appointments then it takes over 6 months for the new appointment then that is cancelled due to border restrictions and then the nearest appointment is 8 months away will not go back.

The staff all staff act as if they love their work . and it shows. 5 stars is fair and you will be treated rich or poor as a guest. Update. Seven procedures later and my mouth is painful . and getting better every day. After every visit. You can be called and checked up on. Really nice feeling. Not finished yet. Will keep you informed. Negative experience: Phoned for Emergency treatment with Agonisingheadache and neck pain due to tooth infection, told they could not help and no appointments for another 2 weeks! Do not use this Dentist!! Very rude and off hand Receptionist!!
