I was terrified going in for a full mouth extraction today, Dr Andy knew it and both him and his lovely assistant (sorry I can’t remember your name but I will never forget your face) done everything they could to calm me down and work with me. Fantastic experience: I had a last minute appointment to fix a broken molar and it was my first time at Pacific Dental Wagga. Dr Li and her assistant were fantastic. So caring and gentle, genuinely cared about my comfort the whole time. Also so easy to talk to and there was no judgement at all. Best experience I’ve had at the dentist. Absolutely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Firstly I would just like to say how wonderful this practice is and has supported me the last year as I’ve been visiting them. In particular my dentist Doctor Donnelly who I couldn’t recommend more highly or give my gratitude as to how gentle and reassuring she is during my treatments. I have an awful history of dealing with the dentists in the past that has left me with a lot of anxiety. Since coming to Pacific Smiles Dental I’ve regained my trust and confidence in going to the dentist and my smile. Doctor Donnelly is always so considerate, takes so much time and supports me through my appointments. Negative experience: While I am grateful I was accommodated last minute, I had a very unpleasant experience with Dr Yeung. He was very rude and pushy to the point I felt uncomfortable. At first, he told me I needed to see an endodontist to get a root canal as my tooth is angled weirdly so he couldn’t do anything about it. I ended up agreeing to let another dentist there do it, accepting a 10% risk of failure. After I signed the consent suddenly Dr Yeung changed his story and says my tooth looks like it has a kind of root he has experience treating so he will be working on my tooth also. When we’re discussing how much this is going to cost he tells me I have to pay 2k for the crown. I explain I can’t afford that right now and would just like the root canal. Dr Yeung then became very patronising and dismissive, saying I had to do it or else there would be no point in getting the root canal done. I explained I have had multiple root canals done before and don’t have a crown on any of them. He then said if I can’t afford to pay for the root canal AND the crown, then I can’t afford to keep my tooth. He just prescribed me weak antibiotics saying they probably wouldn’t help much and to just take Panadol. I would have had to wait a few weeks until my next appointment. I ended up just going to another dental practice and they actually opened the tooth up and put some medication in it as an interim treatment to deal with the infection/pain. They had also accommodated me last minute but actually helped me with my dental issues/treated me. My tooth no longer hurts and it turns out I DONT have to choose between getting a crown or losing my tooth. I know it’s not ideal not to get a crown but that’s my choice. I felt Dr Yeung was dishonestly pushy in saying I’d have to get a crown or have my tooth extracted and just trying to make as many dollars out of me as possible whilst being condescending and rude the whole time. I left feeling my appointment had been a waste of time and money. I understand it was a last minute appointment but I wouldn’t have been so upset had he not been so rude on top of being useless. I heard other dentists here (Julianne/Juhee?) are really good.

Fantastic experience: Just took my mother here to get a tooth pulled out and when I picked her up she was absolutely over the moon at how lovely and caring everyone was towards her and especially the “lovely and very gentle” dentist, Dr Julian Veerasingam. Very comfortable waiting room too she said. Thank you all so much for taking such good care of her and we will be HIGHLY recommending to everyone!!!
Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff always happy and very friendly always smiling.. very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions and explain anything you dont understand... accepts ahm health insurance and a few others.. accepts debt and credit cards as well as cash payments.. been going to the practice for years and have never had a bad experience.. Pacific smiles is also a part of velocity frequent flyers scheme... awesome job all who work there
Fantastic experience: Had an emergency tooth pulled on a Sunday and were extremely professional about it. Andy and Simon did a great job and Susan on reception was a joy. She put up with my kids in the waiting room for 2 hrs! Fantasic practise! My whole family will be using it from now on :)
