Fantastic experience: I just got home after having my wisdom tooth removed and had to leave a review — especially for anyone who’s nervous about the dentist or keeps putting it off. I’ve been to Dr. Steven Doan before, and once again, he was amazing. I was very anxious, practically in fight-or-flight mode, but he was incredibly gentle, calm, and explained every step of the procedure. I felt absolutely no pain the entire time. His years of experience really show — you’re in excellent hands. If you’re someone who dreads dental appointments, I highly recommend Dr. Doan and the team at Taylor Groenlund Doan. Every visit has been just as comfortable and stress-free as the last.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Doan and his team are truly outstanding. I recently had my wisdom teeth removed, and I was amazed by how smoothly the entire process went. Despite feeling extremely anxious and shaking beforehand, his assistant did an incredible job of keeping me calm and at ease. Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom tooth extracted via surgery by Dr Doan. I am very happy with the outcome. It's been 9 days, the recovery was smooth. Dr Doan gave a very clear guidance and information during the consultation, before and after the surgery. I also think the free check-up a week from surgery day is very beneficial and assuring. Overall, I really recommend Dr Doan. I will come back for another one.

Fantastic experience: Recently I had a major dental procedure carried out by Dr Steven Doan and his team. He explained the details of the procedure and carried out very smoothly for a complex procedure that requires a lot of skills and experience. I received calls the next 3 days from the dental staff to ensure that I was alright after that major dental work done. I had a check up 2 weeks later with Dr Steven Doan, everything went quite well as he expected. Fantastic experience: Absolutely love Taylor Groenlund Doan Dental Surgery. They have accommodated me and my teeth for years. They service and make dentures. Teeth pulled. Pain management. Beautiful clinic very well established. The Staff here will treat you like family. They are amazing at what they do best, look after your teeth. Leanne the receptionist is efficient and very knowledgeable and so willing to help with any questions you might have. The Dentists are caring and friendly, best of all they are very gentle. Don't forget to watch the TV on the roof while your teeth are being attended to, love this... I absolutely recommend this Dentist. When I first came here many years ago I knew I found my Dentist for life. Thanks for the excellent care and service guys. No offence but I hope I don't see you soon

Negative experience: Booking an appointment was great and much appreciation towards the Dr who squeezed me in without an appointment when I explained I had bad tooth pain. But the receptionist is absolutely unprofessional. She was very aggresive with her approach, wouldn't hand things to me directly in my hand, would toss it on the desk. Had my 4yr old son with me and she would actually leave her chair and approach him and tell him not to play with his toy on the chair or the floor or anything at all. She then later came and moved his chair because he nudged it a centimetre back and she told him to stop moving it. Won't be coming here again because of her attitude.

Fantastic experience: Got a wisdom tooth removed in a next day emergency appointment, top class job done, very impressed it was a very honest friendly dental surgeon with a friendly assistant and a friendly welcoming secretary

Negative experience: I had good experience here till my regular dentist left. The last experience with one of the owners was a very unsatisfying visit.

Fantastic experience: I can not speak highly enough of the work of Dr Steven Doan. My case was extremely technical not only involving a dental implant procedure but extensive dental grafting. Steven was highly professional over the various procedures and answered every question and concern that i raised. The team at Taylor-Groenlund & Doan went above and beyond to ensure that my post surgery care was a top priority. Steven has provided me the dream smile i have always wanted and is an excellent dentist that i would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Professional and On Time Experience. Smooth enquiry and appointment experience, with a high standard in facilities and care. Appointments were on time in clean and hygienic rooms. The procedure over a series of appointments was explained to me step by step making me at all times feeling comfortable. Whilst it has been many years between visits it was nice to see the original and friendly faces at this long standing practice and a special mention to Leanne who displayed a high level of professionalism, at home care advice. Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Taylor-Groenlund C.E Groenlund J & Doan S enough! I had four of my wisdom teeth taken out in one go. The support, guidance, procedure and overall recovery was exceptional! Dr Doan and his assistant were so wonderful, welcoming and made me feel so comfortable. The team continued to check up on me 2-3 times in the day which made me feel like family. The take away recovery pack was great! Fantastic experience: I have been going to the same dentist for the past 20 years, due to changes at the practice I had to find a new dentist. I decided to give Taylor Groenlund & Doan a go. I can honestly say that I was so impressed with this practice the practice manager & receptionist were extremely welcoming and did a wonderful job making me feel comfortable. Fantastic experience: Frank and Mirella are the best team at the Merrylands Taylor-Groenlund Dentist. We have gone to them over the last 35 years for myself,my husband and our daughter Ally. Frank and Mirella make the kids feel relaxed and giving them rides in the dentist chair and telling them the equipment there are about to use different names so there can related to the kids so there feel comfortable and relax and not scary. Differently highly recommend Frank and Mirella for Kids. Always are great team.Great job guys

Negative experience: In my experience from a friend who is a dentist, good dental cleanings take at least 20-30 minutes and my mouth feels amazing and clean. I attended this place in Merrylands because i had pain and they said i needed my teeth cleaned. They spent 5 minutes doing the cleaning and afterwards, my mouth doesn't feel clean or anything like it usually does after other dental cleanings i've had in the past. However in saying that, they were friendly. I feel like it was a job just poorly done and rushed compared to other Dentists i have been to.

Fantastic experience: I had just removed my wisdom tooth today and the experience was not scary at all. Dr Steven was fast and efficient and I could't believe the procedure was completed within minutes.The team was also super friendly and provided great service. Fantastic experience: I had my teeth check & clean and also my wisdom teeth removed at this practice. Dr. Doan was excellent and very thorough in explaining the process of the surgery and the steps for recovery. I had quite a complicated case of wisdom teeth where the teeth were impacted, a lot of the dentists that I went to previously were not able to perform the surgery for me and I was constantly referred to an Oral Surgeon but after meeting Dr. Doan and knowing his great ability and confidence in performing the surgery, I was beyond impressed and happy for a great convenience and ease. I am now recovering very well. The practice provided a very professional and friendly service with their constant care and attention to their patients. I highly recommend receiving dental treatments here.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this Dental surgery since 2001 the service is pretty spot on friendly staff as always ready to help even on short notice emergency situations. Have had many doctors over the past years but the one that stands out for me is Dr Frank. His workmanship is always 10/10 always does the whole checkup on the mouth explains the finer details. Friendly patient man that has funny traveling stories to tell. Merella the nurse is so comforting, also happy to help out. Fantastic experience: I recently recieved tooth implants upper molar both sides and am so happy with them. They feel and look great and I have ditched those dentures which I could never get used to. Dr Doan is very patient and did excellent work, explaining every step. All the staff are friendly and professional. I have finally found a dentist that I can trust...knowing my teeth are well looked after.

Fantastic experience: Over the past few years, I have had issues with my bite and missing teeth. Stephen Doan has stabilised my teeth and gums, and then presented me with a plan to correct my bite and use a plate to replace the missing teeth. He then proceeded to rebuild my bite and instal the plate For the first time in years I am able to enjoy eating, all at a very reasonable cost I have always found Stephen Doan to be friendly, helpful and caring, offering excellent advice and treatment. He is backed up by an efficient and professional support team and I am more than happy to recommend Stephen and the Taylor Groenlund & Doan practise to anyone who wants excellent dental care

Fantastic experience: Like many, i haven't a fondness for visiting the dentist, but i have been going to Taylor & Groenlund for over 40 years. There have been some changes in personnel, however the welcoming, respectful, informative and caring environment has remained the same. The professional staff have stayed up to date with changing procedures and technology analysis. Over recent times, I've had root canal therapy, placement of crowns and some long term fillings removed... without a needle painkiller. At every appointment, being fully informed of the issues and work to be carried out has helped and comforted me along the way.

Fantastic experience: I have consistenly used this practice at least twice a year for the last four years. Being aged 71, I can recall being frightened of the Dentist as a youngster and now can safely say have no apprehension what so ever in regards to my six monthly check up. Dr. Doan is my Dentist and along with his nursing staff makes one feel as comfortable as possible, explaining in great detail procedures to be undertaken, why and discussing personal treatment at home. The reception safe are friendly and welcoming. If Dr.Doan is representative of his colleagues, I would have no hesitation in recommending any Dentist this practice to family and friends. Fantastic experience: So, I’m quite afraid of going to the dentist as some dentist can’t seem to get me numb and I would have to endure the pain. I was looking for dentist around my area and chose this one as it had really great reviews from long time customers. As I go in, everyone friendly from the start. Both doctor and nurse were great, listened to me when I was in pain and then he actually got me fully numb which was amazing. Very imformative and actually care about your wellbeing. Thanks guys.

Fantastic experience: Totally satisfied with this dental practice! I have been a client at Taylor, Greenland and Doan since childhood - 65+ years. I moved out of the area 25 years ago but still travel back because of the trust I have in Steven's skill. QUALITY dentistry is what I want ... and it is what I get. Steven has been my dentist for 20 years and has done necessary crowns and implants. I compare my recent implant experience to a friend's and I would not swap dentists. Each stage of my friend's extraction and implant was fraught with infection and pain ... lots of it! My own experience, even though more complex than hers, was smooth-sailing and completely successful. Add to this expertise, an environment that is friendly and respectful ... going to the dentist holds none of the fears that some speak of.

Negative experience: Save your money and go elsewhere, this business doesn't care bout your teeth, they only want your money. Had major pain on my top wisdom tooth, dentist completely ignored the fact it was giving me horrible pain, decided to take out the bottom wisdom tooth instead! After, she decided i needed to clean my teeth and come back the next day to remove the top wisdom tooth! (did she forget that i was in major pain?) Decided I wanted to go somewhere else, Dentist got angry and threw my Xray at me, yelling at me about "my loss" Look elsewhere, plenty of better dentists in the area that actually care about your teeth and not your money!.
