Fantastic experience: been going to the dentist with my family for over a decade!! my family sees Dr Daphne and i see Dr Carmen and they both super helpful and amazing!! Dr Carmen always takes time to explain things clearly and does a great job when i need cleans and gum treatment - a few years back i had to get my molars removed with local anaesthetic and they did a great job! all the staff i’ve spoken too are fluent in english, mandarin and cantonese too!!

Negative experience: Booking for 9.30. Still waiting 45 minutes later. How can you run 45+ min late at the start of the day.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been visiting this dental clinic since 2012, and Dr. Kenneth Wong and his team have consistently delivered exceptional care. Dr. Wong is incredibly thorough, professional, and knowledgeable—his service is truly top-notch. It’s always a pleasant experience coming in, and I know my teeth and gums are in great hands.

Negative experience: We booked an appointment at 4:30 and when we arrived they said we still needed to wait for 2 more customers, approximately taking 1 hour. They didn’t give us back our dental information and their attitude was very unwelcoming.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here after getting my braces! The staff was friendly, and Dr. Wong made the process easy and comfortable. They gave me helpful advice on managing discomfort, and the clinic is super clean and well-organised!!!

I had an amazing experience getting my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Wong—he was so professional, gentle, and made the whole process far less daunting than I expected. The recovery was smooth, and I felt well cared for every step of the way. I also always complete my general teeth cleaning by other dentists in the clinic, and the service was equally fantastic. The entire team is friendly, skilled, and really goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. If you’re looking for top-notch dental care, this is the place to go. Highly recommended place!

Fantastic experience: Dr Louisa Li treated most of my dental problems including gum treatment, cleaning and fillings with her professional skills. Dr Li explains everything clearly making sure I understand before she starts the procedure. During the procedure, Dr Li is very caring by double checking with me if I am fine all the times. Fantastic experience: Had my braces done here, Dr Wong is a legend and was very patient even when I kept breaking stuff and always tried to address the underlying cause, he is very informative and always willing to chat. Would highly recommend, way better than my previous dentist!!

Negative experience: Constantly late.....it's not bad time management, it's preventable bad time management as they book patients in at 15 minute slots. You can almost guarantee that by noon they would be behind schedule. They may be efficient, but you'd want your dentist to take their time treating you. I've never once been able to go in on time. Dr Wong is nice and friendly but Dr Kao can be quite patronizing. Quite aggressive with their treatment plans. Your old school drill and fill dentist. They've evolved over the years since the early 2000s to become a "cosmetic" dentist focused on profiting off making teeth look nice. They will never ever send a copy of your dental records and x-rays to your new dentist. So be warned. They have gotten better at orthodontics over the years, but I would recommend patients to get specialist treatment elsewhere. It would only be $1-2k more if you're opting for metal braces but you get the benefit of specialist training and experience. Once these guys get you in, they will hurry you at the end of your treatment plan even if your teeth are still not finished at 100%. This is because you don't pay if your treatment so happens to extend beyond your treatment plan duration. All in all, you can expect decent quality work from the principal dentists, but you should perhaps get a second opinion from another dentist to check if it needs to be done at all. Dentistry is a competitive market in Sydney and both Dr Wong and Dr Kao got in early enough to make bank and open two clinics. Profit is still number 1 and your optimal dental health is number 2. With so many other options available in Burwood and surrounding suburbs, it would be worth taking a look elsewhere.

Comparatively, there was a dentist or perhaps a dental assistant that handled my teeth very roughly one time when Dr Wong wasn’t available during an emergency situation. The experience was night and day and I’m glad to have Dr Wong as my dentist to go to every month when getting my braces adjusted. Both him and the receptionist are extremely professional, friendly, and very efficient at their job. 10/10 service. Covid-Safe experience. Nothing to complain about. 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Dr Wong is the best dentist I've had and he'll be my only dentist from this point forward. I recieved the best service prior to, during and after my braces removal. I've got the smile I want now and I couldnt be happier. Ensuring my dental health is now one thing I can worry about less, and I can assure you it's the best decision you could make regarding yours too.

Fantastic experience: Couldn't speak more highly for Dr Xiao Zhang! Took mom there for tooth extraction. As an anxious dentist patient, she was blown away by the care taken to help her through the procedure. Dr Zhang is very knowledgeble and caring. I didn't catch the assistant's name, but she also provided great customer service. Abosolutely deserve 5 stars.

Negative experience: I called up for a booking this Tuesday and was answered by a receptionist named Annie, not only was she unable to help with my enquiries for braces and teeth whitening, her utterly poor attitude made me rethink how this dental surgery operates. For anyone wanting to visiting this dental surgery, do consider the quality of customer service you'll get.

Fantastic experience: I've had my teeth cleaned and wisdom tooth removed at the surgery for many years, very professional and experienced dentists. I didn't have much pain from the tooth extraction despite the wisdom tooth cut in half. The tooth cleaning was by another dentist also was not painful. I'm very satisfied.

Negative experience: The tooth extraction process is very painful and very bad。 Technology is very poor ！The doctor is Dr song。

Fantastic experience: Was anxious about my first wisdom tooth extraction however Dr Chung was phenomenal, she explained the entire process and was super gentle (i had no pain during the procedure and wasn't in any pain afterwards). All i can say is don't hesitate about going to Wong & Kao, their staff are lovely and professional; definitely recommend for those without private health insurance.

Fantastic experience: Dr Wong has been my family dentist for a little over two and a half years now, where every appointment he goes over all the little details and makes sure you are satisfied with any work he conducted in the process. I recently just finished my braces treatment with him & I can proudly say it went by very smoothly & quickly, as he listened to all my concerns and fixed them, adjusting the preproposed plan to my interests. Definitely highly recommend for any dental treatment!

Fantastic experience: Dr Wong and Dr Kao have been my family dentists for more than 6 years. Both of them are very professional and kind to the patients. I have four crowns fitted by either Dr Wong or Dr Kao over the years. These crowns are all functioning very well so I believe they are worth every penny...
