Fantastic experience: Dr Lilly and her team were so good at making me feel relaxed and comfortable. They were very considerate through my nervousness as I've hardly been to the dentist before. They ushered me through two procedures expertly and with genuine care. The TV screen showing nature documentaries and the staff's demeanor really helped to put my mind in a calm place. I felt reassured when Dr Lilly laid out my options clearly and honestly, and respectfully and expertly answered any of my questions and concerns. Overall an excellent experience with fantastic follow up service

Fantastic experience: My son (age 4) had his very first-ever dentist appointment with Lily after a traumatic knock-out accident, and I was bracing myself for tears and fear. From the moment we walked in, Lily’s calm, caring approach had him completely at ease...he even ended up loving it! By his follow-up, he was waltzing in full of confidence, chatting away, excited to go back. That’s all thanks to Lily’s warmth, patience, and skill in working with kids. She really turned what I had feared would be a scary experience into something incredible. Highly, highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Great experience with Dr Sandy and the staff. Came in with some severe tooth pain from a botched root canal (from another dentist), and the team were able to get me sorted and into a specialist on the same day to relieve the pain. Highly recommended!

Dr Lilly is amazing — she’s so friendly, explains everything really clearly, and always makes me feel comfortable, even during more invasive procedures like my recent fillings. One thing I really appreciate is how understanding they are if you’re feeling nervous — you can even bring your pup in for support during your appointment, which made such a big difference for me. The admin staff are also super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. This has been my local dentist for years and will definitely continue to be!

Fantastic experience: Like most people I have a fear of pokey things going into my mouth. Dr Sandy, however, wields the pokey/drill thingy with care! I used to avoid going to the dentist until a toothache or problem surfaced, by then a visit to the closest dentist was all downhill from there. I’ve been going to West End Dental for a few years - and am confident enough to go every 6 months knowing there will be minimal pain. I can highly recommend West End Dental.

Fantastic experience: West End Dental has gotta be the best dental clinic I have ever been to. Dr Sandy McLean (I mean, with a name like that how could he NOT be your dentist!) and his team are friendly, professional and make the whole process incredibly comfortable. They have gone out of their way to fit me in for an emergency dental appointment after hours and are somehow able to make a harrowing tooth extraction an enjoyable experience. I recommend them to all my friends, and now recommend them to you.

Fantastic experience: I truly have a fear of going to the dentist but Dr Sandy was amazing. He has a calming mannerism which put me at ease, with an added bonus that I did not feel the injections I kid you not! He installed a new crown and because the experience was dare I say not bad at all - I actually asked about having another crown done! Highly recommend West End Dental - all their staff are lovely !

Fantastic experience: West End Dental is the first dentist I visited since moving to Australia and I couldn’t have been happier. Everything flowed smoothly from making the appointment to sitting in the dental chair. I called on Thursday and had a booking for Monday. I arrived a few minutes early to their spotless office and after filling out one brief form, Dr. Lilly and her assistants were ready to start. No delays or waiting around. The procedure: X-rays, exam, and cleaning, was quick, painless and expertly performed. There is even a TV mounted in the ceiling to keep you distracted if you are nervous or have anxiety. Which you don’t need to be. The staff is ultra considerate and actually downright fun. They make you feel completely comfortable and valued. Post procedure, Dr Lilly took the time to describe the result of the exam, presenting photos and X-rays with clear explanations and recommendations. Overall it was such a positive experience, I find myself looking forward to the next appointment. I can’t think of a stronger endorsement than that for a dentist.

My fiance and I have been coming to this dentist for 4 or so years and we've been very impressed with the service and quality of work they produce. Well done West End Dental! Update: Recently had two new vaneers installed after wanting to rectify a childhood injury to my two front teeth. Dr Lilly and her team went above and beyond to assist and make sure they were perfect. I couldn't be happier with the result. Thanks again team, I can smile with pride again for the first time since I was a child :)

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sandy is the best dentist I have ever come across in the whole of Brisbane, after visiting a couple of them. He not only helped me but did a molar tooth extraction so seemlessly. Im thankful I found Sandy who was even available after hours!

Negative experience: They were very friendly and put you at ease, especially if you find going to the dentist intimidating and unpleasant. But all the time spent being told how to brush your teeth and how a $100 worth of electric toothbrush is necessary is just too much, in contrast to how much time was actually spent cleaning my teeth - it was even admitted that some of the scales /plague were not removed because he "couldn't get to it" but can "look into removing those when you next visit". When you charge for a service (the exact price of which I don't even know because they don't provide an itemized invoice) you really should be doing a thorough job.

Positive experience: Thank you to Dr Sandy and his team. They went over and above when I recently had a lot pain and was struggling. Even though he was at the Wynum practise, they advised me on the best approach until I could get in to see them at West End and they even called me the next day to see how I was going. That’s good service. Hard to find these days !

Fantastic experience: Very good dentist very painless and the discussion of tooth problems was done very well.

Negative experience: Very unreliable. The reception staff is very forgetful. I went in to get an xray and they said they would email it to me and they forgot. Have to wait even longer to get a wisdom tooth removed now.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Sandy for many years (15yrs?) He is such a gentle, learned, thorough doctor and a warm, kind man. I won’t go elsewhere!

Fantastic experience: Dr Zoe Dux is a phenomenal dentist, not only technically proficient and highly intelligent but she also has a lovely warm personality that puts you at ease immediately. When I moved to Brisbane she was recommended to me by my previous dentist in Melbourne and has certainly lived up to expectations! All of the staff at the clinic are lovely too, and kept my crying baby happy and occupied during my check-up :-)

Negative experience: VERY Unprofessional! Came here for a routine check up after having just moved to West End. It was not until I sat in the dentist's chair that they decided to tell me they hadn't managed to obtain my recent x-rays from my previous dentist on time, so there was no choice but to have new ones taken which cost $100!! But what's worse, the cleaning/scaling literally consisted of a bit of flossing! Then the better half of the appointment was spent lecturing me on how everyone needs to get crowns on their molars, how to brush and floss. Would NOT recommend. There are better, cheaper places that won't rip you off.

He’s gentle and careful so if you have dental phobia, Craig is the dentist to see as he makes you feel calm and puts you at ease. I always feel relaxed there. He doesn’t upsell. They are extremely knowledgeable, competent and gentle. Moved back to my other "home country" a couple of years ago, but haven't bothered to find a new dentist here as I will continue to see Craig and Julie in West End when I am back on holidays. Negative experience: My experience was poor arrived 30 mins early and then had to wait 10 mins after appointed time while car was on a meter outside. And still have the tooth i want out in my mouth !!

He makes your dental experience, comfortable and it doesnt hurt your pocket. The quality of treatment on my dental work - crown - is beyond satisifaction and looks amazing for the price.
