Fantastic experience: What a lovely fresh, dental practice. Dr Jean Low did a filling for me, extremely expertly and gently, informing me of all my dental issues. Followed up with a phone call to check everything was ok. Lovely, smiling, helpful reception staff also.

I felt really lucky when I found him since he was the first dentist that could get it "right" in first go with the biting hight adjustment after filling my tooth. He is through with check ups as well and doesn't miss any spot that need to be treated. I finally found the good/skilled dentist!

Negative experience: I didn't experience the wonderful treatment others experienced. I had had a wisdom tooth extraction here previously and wasn't super impressed. I didn't feel the dentist was gentle or informative. Bit disappointed. Today, after having sent an out of office hours message to the surgery, and having explained the pain I was currently in, the receptionist/manager would NOT try to accommodate a dental visit for me as they were busy with a Christmas rush. I told her twice I found this unacceptable, and she booked one during "their lunch time" with a salty attitude. I found an alternative dentist - they were wonderful! I have had a second wisdom tooth removed today, I have a nasty gum infection, and am on a course of 2 seperate antibiotics! Yes, Bayside Dental....it was kinda urgent!

One good thing that came out of this was that I didn't assault the dentist this time ..lol My dental experience as a youngster was traumatic to say the least particularly the injections or lack of... Now that's a painful reminder However Dr James and his team exercised a duty of care and ensured that the upmost of safety measures were put in place for me. Job well done !!! Fantastic experience: Highest of recommendations! Bayside Family Dentist Birkdale is definitely one of the best dentist clinics around. I was feeling some pain and was worried about going to the dentist for a checkup but James was very calm and collected during the procedure and his skill and technique was second to none as I felt little to no pain. After the procedure, he reached out to me and made sure everything was ok and that gesture in itself is very rare. Thank you James and the team at Bayside Family Dentist! I certainly will be coming back from now on!

Growing up in the days of no anesthetic and cranky dental nurses left me with a life long fear of dentists, and much anxiety with every visit, but Dr James from the very onset put me at ease and was so polite and gentle, his surgery is state of the art and so modern. Mariah his assistant was so lovely, she had me chatting easily, my appointment was actually fun and pleasant. I am so happy with Dr James' work, a have a new smile. Fantastic experience: I use the Bayside Family Dentist at Birkdale Fair and couldn’t be happier with my experience there each time I have been. I have had James as my dentist and I was very impressed with how gentle and patient he was while giving me my fillings. Also how helpful and knowledgeable he was with other concerns about my dental care. All the staff there have been nothing short of perfect, even allowing me to choose which Netflix show to put on while I am having work done. I will happily continue to use them, by far the best dentist I have been to. 10/10
