Fantastic experience: After one particularly horrific experience where a dentist drilled a nerve. I have been extremely reluctant to return anywhere but here overcomes All fear and Dr Chen is so gentle and kind I highly recommend her. If I can Speak highly of a dentist then she must be Amazing and if I can sit in the chair anyone can!
Fantastic experience: I was extremely nervous about attending, but I was made to feel at ease from the moment I arrived. Even though it was a long appointment, I was talked through everything step by step, which really helped calm my nerves. Negative experience: Whilst I understand delays are inevitable, after two appointments of 40+ min waiting time, after mentioning I would have appreciated a simple apology for the wait; dentist Khushdeep Athwal proceeded to argue why she doesn’t owe any apologies, it’s the receptionist’s job. Poor display of professionalism, customer service and attitude. Other dentists at this practice have been great however.

Fantastic experience: Dr Khushy is the kindest and most caring dentist I have ever seen. Being someone who gets very anxious at the dentist, she offers me solutions to keep me calm while having procedures done. She is excellent with communication during the process and makes you feel extremely comfortable in what can be a very nervous experience. Negative experience: I came here cause my private health insurance offers two free dental checkups and this was the closest location. They did an amazing job, Dr. Nikita Goyal was very friendly and helpful. During the consultation I mentioned I would be interested in hearing about Invisalign, this is where it all went down hill. Firstly I was so explicitly clear that I could not afford the $8000 required for Invisalign and that the only way I could afford this is if I could access it through my super. I spoke in depth with Tiffany about this, we put together a payment plan for the stage after Invisalign, showing what my PHI would cover and what I would have to cover. THERE WAS NEVER A DISCUSSION ABOUT A PAYMENT PLAN FOR INVISALIGN THE MORE EXPENSIVE PART. I do multiple X-rays, multiple visits, to get to the final consultation where I’m shown the transformation video, how my teeth will look in the end. At this point, I ask again, what is the process to do this via Super? To be met with “you never told us you couldn’t afford this, this isn’t possible with Super” was so incredibly frustrating, I had been so open and upfront about it NEEDING to be done with Super and then to be gaslit with “you never told us” was so incredibly frustrating. It really feels like their plan was to say yes to everything to get to show me the results so it would be impossible to say no. In my initial appointment I said “I have a wedding in two years, I can’t afford to do this and pay for a wedding, unless this can be accessed through my super” to EVERYONE. I got blamed for “not mentioning it”, even tho I feel like I couldn’t have been any clearer.

Negative experience: Reception staff have no customer service skills. Lost a potential customer. Tried calling to enquire about costing and was met with some attitude. I’ll take my business elsewhere, plenty of good dentists around instead of here.

Negative experience: A friend went here recently and had terrible results. She was in so much pain and the company did nothing about it. Still no response and no accountability. So disappointed. Don’t let your close friends or family attend a place that doesn’t value the patient care. This is not just about a simple mistake with booking or something trivial, this is someone’s dental health that has been compromised, the pain was so severe. No explanations or help with recovery, absolutely shocking treatment.

Negative experience: Lovely staff but follow up appointment in 6 months was made without my consent and they refused to cancel when requested. No respect for personal autonomy or patient-centred care. I’ve escalated my concerns with Pacific Smiles Dental and hope change happens. I won’t return unless this policy is revised. Plenty of other options in Lane Cove, go to one of them that respects people’s right to choose.

Kushy and Dr Al- Juboori are extremely capable caring dentist impossible to replace. PS support team are equally nice people. I would not go anywhere else its just a very pleasant place. Negative experience: Very bad experiences with the booking at this store. Ask you to reschedule the booking twice a day, and even you already there. It is unacceptable. I was loyal customer with Pacific Smiles for many years, but now I have to go others who have a better booking system. Very disappoint.

Negative experience: Asked to come early so I reschedule my day, only to be left waiting for over half an hour and going in later than original time. I booked six months in advance to get the time and date I want, then try to be accommodating and change it then get poor service. Go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Such a friendly, professional and welcoming atmosphere at Pacific Smiles Lane Cove! Our experiences here have always been warm, educational and rewarding. This is strange to say especially because these are not the words you would usually use to describe a dental office. Dr Hannah Ryan the dentist and her team are incredible. Hannah very very carefully, strategically and effortlessly removed a stubborn little tooth that was not going anywhere from my 7 year old's daughters mouth. Fantastic experience: Honestly the best experience I've had at a dentist. I was booked in for a root canal with Dr. Al-Jaboori who was calm and patient, explained the process to me along the way and went to lengths to make sure the process was done properly. I really appreciate the work done by him and his team. The receptionist Lisa is also very helpful and friendly! Thank you to all the staff for making it an enjoyable experience.

Positive experience: Great service, in a brand new facility, offers no gap checkup for some funds. Was a bit surprised the dentist will automatically add other services like x-rays however luckily- this was covered under a “promotion”. It it will reduce your cap for other dental work however so best to discuss these extras before the appointment begins if you are watching your cap.
