Patients are informed before each treatment is administered and asked if they feel any discomfort and need to rest. Once the symptoms are discovered, the patient will also be informed of the treatment options, and detailed explanations will be provided to help the patient choose the appropriate course of treatment. Dr Chen has been providing regular comprehension check up and clean for me, and I also had a few dental fillings done by him. Fantastic experience: We had such a wonderful experience with Ascent Dental. My 15 year old son was in intense pain due to a tooth abscess and Stephen kindly fitted him in for an emergency appointment the same day- despite not being an existing patient at the time. He was able to perform the procedure (which our usual general dentist hadn’t been confident in doing, referring us to a specialist which meant dealing with uncontrollable pain in the meantime) which went completely as planned. Stephen is clearly a very skilled and experience dentist. We are so grateful and we will be transferring our whole family’s general dental care to Ascent.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Ascent Dental for several years now and couldn’t recommend them more highly. There staff are always very friendly and have helped me out wether it be just a check up, filling or even a veneer. I have found them to be very helpful and competitive on price, always providing service with a smile.

Fantastic experience: Kind, Gentle dentist, Steven made me feel comfortable and safe, I am a nervous dental patient and he got me past previous bad experiences that I held from childhood.

Negative experience: Paid $190 for just ONE (!) tooth cleaning (!) (just to clean out food which got stuck under the gum and was causing pain). To compare, in my regular clinic where I normally go I pay $140 for the full mouth thorough check up and clean. And here was charged $190 for one tooth cleaning (without any treatment or fillings). Shocked about the price. Next time will go to my usual dental clinic only. And in reply to your comment: I have arrived before 5pm. Your hours are till 5:30pm, so it wasn’t an after hour appointment. The receptionist told me the standard check is around $60. No other treatment was provided except of the one tooth cleaning. And I didn’t request for any treatment except just cleaning that one tooth.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful, professional dentist. Dr Chen and his team are caring and gentle. They are available Saturdays. My kids enjoy going to the dentist thanks to Dr Chen. I strongly recommend Ascent Dental for regular checkups and more advanced procedures including teeth whitening (our family have needed all of the above).
