Fantastic experience: Second year in a row of seeing Dr Chisholm for my son's mouth guard and both time he has displayed high level anxiety around the whole process. Dr Chisholm and her team were incredibly patient, kind and supportive! We will now see them for future work and my son is now very comfortable with the idea of the dentist!

Fantastic experience: Extremely knowledgeable and professional practice, Nina and her team are so skilled and run an awesome business. With minimal waiting, virtually no pain or discomfort during treatment, so gentle with technique. As a normally nervous patient, I am always made to feel relaxed and looked after. Final results are nice, straight teeth and a newfound confidence. Thanks to all at Chisholm.

They are super friendly and my children always felt welcome and safe, and the results have been fantastic. This practice covers a huge chunk of Australia, and their work spans road accident victims, and young children. Their professionalism is beyond reproach.

Negative experience: Highly unprofessional, long wait times, and unnecessarily expensive. Both my retainer and wire broke in under a year. She didn’t warn me about a price increase before she removed my wire, went from $40 per tooth (for 3 teeth) to $400 to $650. Plus a retainer in which I had to later replace this after only a few weeks. I got a retainer replacement with my dentist and had this done at a much lower price. When I had some stoppers to prevent grinding my teeth, she never properly filed it down, even after she removed my braces until eventually my dentist did. The wait times were almost always over an hour, for just a 10 minute check up which she hardly spent proper time or energy on. I could not recommend this place any less.

Negative experience: I feel so regret for choosing this orthodontist for my child. Very unprofessional and careless.

Negative experience: A terrible experienced I had from this orthodontist and her assistant Sam. Really, at first I thought they were good and when I moved interstate it was covid that time I have been sending them an email to request letter so work can give me some time off and they would not send me a letter (a letter that I have an appointment with them). I have booked my flight just to meet what that Dr availability and when I told them that I arrived Saturday on the email Sam told me that they don’t work Saturday and Sunday which is I have to rebooked my flight and arrived Friday just to get an adjustment, however they never replied back and booked me in, and now they were asking me to pay them off the 2 appointments that I supposed to have back in 2021. It’s so ridiculous that they wanted to get the money from you but never responses to my request. And I remember I had an appointment with them back in Alice Springs I came after I finished work but the receptionist in the medical centre told me they had to go back to Adelaide but they didn’t even let me know, did I complain? No! Now all they did was asking for the money I owe apparently that I didn’t even had the adjustment. I wouldn’t recommend this at all. And oh don’t even try to reply you’ll get your money back!

Negative experience: Was recommended here as a new patient by my dentist and when I went in to make an appointment I was shocked at how unprofessional it is! Poor staff members getting screamed at and abused by what I’m guessing is management and making their staff cry! I left before I was served when I saw what was happening will never recommend this place and will get a new recommendation from my dentist for an orthodontist

Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional. The dentist was so rude and she was so rough when she was treating me. I was left waiting for a long time and left in an extreme amount of discomfort. Would not recommend her to anyone, there are many more orthodontists in Adelaide that I’d much prefer.

Negative experience: This orthodontist is terrible! They gave me a plate that was supposed to be for a year. Before we gave them any money they were very friendly and nice. This suddenly changed as soon as they took my money. They wouldn't remind you when your appointment was, 2 hour waits in line just for 5 minute check-ups, and to put it on top, she blamed me when plate didn't fit 3 months after she said I would have it on for! She yelled at me told me it was my fault. This orthodontist Is outrageous and I suggest looking else where. Extremely unprofessional

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! I highly recommend Chisholm Orthodontics. My experience with Neena and Sam was amazing. All my appointments have been super pleasant and they are so welcoming! I was super insecure about my teeth and my bite, so I decided to get it checked out, lucky enough I was referred to Neena, she said I needed braces for 12 months and lower jaw surgery so that’s exactly what we did. The entire experience was great and the surgeon Dr Benjamin Graves who Neena sent me to was absolutely amazing and I honestly couldn’t be happier with my results!! I am more confident than ever with my new jaw and teeth all thanks to Neena! 10/10!!!

Fantastic experience: Great experience with Dr Chisholm and her team. Dr Chisholm tailored a plan to accommodate my wedding half way through the treatment and the results were amazing. The staff are always welcoming and genuinely care for their clients. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Spend at least 20 minutes waiting every time and thats just in the waiting room, with more time waiting for the orthodontist in the chair. Not not mention braces that continually break setting the process back weeks at a time and her love of 'polishing' away your teeth. Finally get my braces off and the dentist tells be I need a filling to fix her poor 'polishing' job and that the retaining wire hasn't been attached properly. I guess the positive is that I have mostly straight teeth now...

Fantastic experience: Dr. Chisholm is professional & compassionate & very knowledgeable.

Negative experience: One orthodontist that checks your mouth for a second and tells you you need to come back for another appointment after a year without being contacted. Then suggests you go private with her instead of public. My daughter has been waiting for an oral surgery for over two years and once I contacted them I was accused of lying. The finger was pointed towards the department of health instead if trying to fix the issue.

Positive experience: I had braces a few years ago, but I feel they took my braces off to early as now I still have a big over bite. The staff were all very friendly.

Positive experience: I would like to thank Dr Chisholm and staff. They managed my treatment professionally and were extremely supportive. Being an adult, I was hesitant to go into treatment but Dr. Chisholm guided me through it. She was patient, kind and understanding and took her time to explain to me what was happening each step of the way. If I didn't understand at first, she would explain it again and so would her nurses. I can't be happier with my results and I had no problems with the services at all.

Positive experience: I didn't like parts of the service, the nurse or hygienist do the wires sometimes I don't know if this is acceptable or professional, no time for explaining patient's concerns at times, usually the orthodontist told me I was fine even when I had concerns, they probably were busy to explain. Also, I don't know if they had to be rough when they install the wires and remove them, the process was a nightmare I felt bad!!! At times I felt I have been throwing my money in the trash bin, for the amount of money they charged me I thought they would treat me like a queen, maybe I was wrong. My advice is to discuss the finance and make sure you understand what you're going to pay for. Make sure you talk through the process and you get legitimate answer before you leave. Make intensive research before you choose your orthodontist, and make sure you are comfortable with the orthodontist, the team, the plan. Updated

Negative experience: I agree with Beautiful So, the minute I saw her review I understood what she was talking about, I wished she blog this review earlier. My experience with this practice was so hard, specially the person who called her self the orthodontist 'with many question marks', yes she has many clinics, but with all honesty all she cares about is your money and this will be discussed before your treatment plan, 'unprofessional'. OK the hardest part was her dishonesty, basically I couldn't continue my treatment with this practice because of 2 things, 1 when you have emergency they make you feel unwelcome like they pay your treatment from their pockets, 2 dishonesty in the checkup, and treatment. Also poor people' skills, when I spoke to the Orthodontist about my concerns all she says oh its usual, its OK, and never give you help. The orthodontist used a bur to create a space between my teeth as she claimed it would would be fine though I insisted is this going to alter my teeth shape!!!!!, and she did it unprofessionally, she altered the shape of my 4 front teeth and she dented the surface of my teeth, I was traumatized by all this, like a person who never used a bur before. When I came to her next day saying you created denting in my teeth specially the from ones, she said that I had fillings in my teeth when I was a child and they fell off, this the worst justification I ever heard. I looked after my teeth and I know my teeth better than her and she tells me a lie. I had to go to 2 dentist to get a report and I have, both of them told me its a bur mark and its called IPR and I suffered sensitivity for 2 weeks. I DO NOT recommend this unprofessional orthodontist for anyone, if you love your teeth and want to get the most of your money and treatment you know what to do.
