Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend Dr Lam enough. As a patient of at least 20 years I can honestly say I do NOT trust any other dentist to go anywhere near my teeth. He is extremely professional, kind and always looks after me and my teeth. I don't know if I could possibly find another like him

Negative experience: This dental care is unreal! I would not recommend this dental clinic based on our experience. My father had treatment done here, and had left a review before, but was constantly called to take it down. They had done work on his teeth was poorly done and left us very disappointed. On top of that, there were undisclosed payments that were only mentioned after we had already committed, which felt dishonest and misleading. The reception was also very unprofessional. Instead of supporting us through the process, the staff hurried and pressured us to pay off the instalments faster than originally agreed, which made the entire situation stressful and unpleasant. When you go to a dentist, you expect transparency, quality care, and professionalism — unfortunately, this place fell short in all of those areas.

Fantastic experience: My family has seen Dr Alister Tan twice at the clinic, 2 kids and 1 adult. All of the experiences were pleasant. He was great with my kids, gentle and non pushy, my kids would not hesitate to go back to see him. Recommend!

Fantastic experience: Booked a very late last minute appointment for my 9 year old who was complaining of a very sore tooth. We got the last appointment of the day. Receptionist was so lovely to my daughter who was very apprehensive. The dentist and his male dental nurse were incredibly kind and gentle and two extractions later we were on our way for icecream in 15 minutes. We have rebooked for general clean and check up, and this will be our new family dentist. Thank you guys for incredible lovely, last minute service. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: I had a great experience with the dentist however a very negative experience with the orthodontist. They forgot why I was there despite me having had a consult 6 weeks prior. They then went back on the plan to redo the retainer that was previously agreed upon in the first consult so the appointment was a complete waste of time. To finish it off they said my teeth were not very good (I was not there to have them straightened nor was this in a discussion about a plan to fix anything - I have had previous work done to my teeth so this comment took me aback).

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom tooth removed by Dy James Zhu today. no pain, not lots of bleeding, and no brousing, he did it very gently and in a smart way even tho it was a tricky one with a root shape like a hook . i'm glad that I chose the Caring Dental Group and was treated by Dr James.

Fantastic experience: I just want to share how impressed I am with Lachlan as a dentist. He’s incredibly skilled—his precision is second to none. He walks you through each step with clarity, so you always know what’s happening, and the way he administered the injection was so smooth and pain-free, I barely felt a thing. It’s clear he takes great pride in his work, and it really shows in the quality of care he delivers.

Fantastic experience: Janis Lin is still the best, gentlest, detailed dentist I have ever met, given that I have very sensitive gum. She’s also very good with kids.

Fantastic experience: If you need a great dentist don’t go past CARING DENTAL GROUP in Doncaster East. All my family including children and late parents and many friends whom I’ve passed on details of this wonderful dentistry are patients here. Dr Leo Lam is beyond gentle and caring Always advises with your welfare in mind and not his pocket. Today my husband had 2 molars pulled out and a surgeon was called in for this. His name is Dr Hogan and he was super gentle efficient and professional. All the staff from the receptionists to all the dentists are fabulous. Fantastic experience: I was always reluctant to go for dental check n cleaning. But i have a wonderful experience this time when Dr. Janet Lu is so professional that I didn’t feel any discomfort at all. I highly recommend anyone who need a dental cleaning consider to visit Dr Lu.

Negative experience: We went to Caring Dental when our regular dental clinic was having a renovation last year. We saw Dr Janet Lu and she said my son had 5 holes need a filling. She did 3 teeth on a Thursday and one filling fell out on the coming Sunday. Only lasted 2 days. Unbelievable.

Positive experience: It's our family dental clinic. The dentists were friendly. We had an Asian looking dentist who was very patient. The only reason I didn't give a five star is because our last wait was about one hour. We didn't wait for that long in the past.

Fantastic experience: My family has been attending this practice for over 20 years and we now mainly see Dr Leo Lam. Dr Lam has a gentle and caring approach and he explains the procedure if it's a bit more detailed than just a straightforward clean or filling. The reception staff are lovely and made an effort to fit me in quickly when a more urgent appointment was required, which I greatly appreciated. Fantastic experience: I was provided with an appointment the day after I broke a tooth. So, I really appreciated that. I saw Alister and he did a great job in explaining my options and then completed my treatment in a comfortable way. Our entire family goes to this clinic and we have always been really satisfied by the dental work and care that we have received.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience at this Clinic. I saw Dr James Zhu and he told me I needed six fillings and when I went to see a different dentist for a second opinion, at the same clinic, I was told I did not need any fillings. I don’t feel the clinic has its clients best interests at heart. My confusing experience has caused me both significant financial and mental distress. My family and I will not longer be attending this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Dentists are gentle, staff friendly. Been coming for nearly 2 decades now, they're brilliant. They trained my 5 year old from day 1 to get use to drills and other equipment in the mouth, just little by little. Now at 16 there is no fear or anxiety, a trip to the dentist no stress at all thanks to the gentle way they eased him into it from a young age. Massive thanks to Dr Leo. He's marvellous.

Negative experience: I had a tooth cleaning treatment with doctor Bak KO today (16/11/2023). It was a terrible experience. 1, the doctor said my teeth all good except one that needed to be replaced. But he only cleaned half of my teeth. The left half? Come back again in two weeks! 2, the doctor told me AT THE END OF TREATMENT to visit again in two weeks. That means I need to pay all the fees myself next time/week (my insurance covers tooth cleaning every six months.). 3, the manager at the reception office didn't help at all. 4, the doctor cannot speak clearly. Don't understand why the dental centre hires a retired (?) man for this job. You don't understand what he was saying. His assistant repeated what he said occasionally then I understood. I'm actually OK with no parking space and painful process of by a retired (?) old man.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient there for a while & all of the dentists who treated me there are good but I must give a 5 gold star to Janis Lin who did my emergency filling yesterday. Going to a dentist can be an intimidating experience for most but this exceptional young dentist (I was a bit concerned at first cos she looks young) is so attentive, detailed in her explanations as to what’s gonna happen, gave me options to treat my tooth & very thoughtful. She is the first dentist who said I could close my mouth to take a rest while she’s preparing for the next step. When I discovered she can speak Mandarin before I left I promised her she’ll be getting appointments from quite a few of my Mandarin speaking neighbours Janis I will be back with my family for our twice a year dental cleaning plus my major dental work as per your suggestion to save my aging tooth. Thank you for looking after me. Keep up with the good work

Fantastic experience: First Visit - definitely not my last. There are dentists and then there are DENTISTS. Dr Bak Ko is the latter, grateful I was booked in with you. What would have otherwise been an extremely painful (prior dental experience) procedure Dr Ko ensured it ran smoothly, COMFORTABLY and efficiently. Reception are very helpful and answered all queries. Requested paperwork emailed to me promptly. My faith in dentistry has been restored. Thank you Dr Ko, you completely understood the brief! #Caring.

Fantastic experience: Dr Anselm Koo is so professional. I’ve been seeing Dr Koo for a long time and he never fails to deliver. Very honest and great work! I would highly recommend him.

Negative experience: Horrendous!! The reception are incredibly rude and the dentists are even worse. Extremely arrogant and incompetent.

Negative experience: My partner tried to change his appointment over the phone, but receptionist was discourteous and hung up on him just because his English isn’t on Shakespeare’s level. Such a disappointment to see discrimination against races. We have given a feedback via their website and as expected there was no response or acknowledgment. The customer service is just appalling.

Fantastic experience: The team are friendly and efficient. We live far from the clinic but we don't mind the drive since Dr. Lam and the service provided are top notch.

Negative experience: I saw Dr Katherine Wong on a Tuesday two weeks ago for a consultation. Dr Katherine was nice and professional at the consultation. However, she was supposed to email me the referral information but she never did. I’ve chased the clinic twice, nothing has been received so far. Very disappointing. Such a waste of time and money!

Positive experience: Great service from Dr. Catherine Wong. She is a caring and attentive dentist. The dental assistants are great too. Most of the admin staff seemed okay too. However, there was a time when an admin staff member shouted at Dr. Wong. She had just been a little late for our appointment in the morning, and I did not mind at all. I thought the manner in which the admin staff spoke to Dr. Wong was quite rude and shocking.

Fantastic experience: By far the best dental practice we’ve ever attended. A decent drive for us but the entire family love seeing Dr Anselm Koo who makes visiting the dentist a fun experience as opposed to the horrific memories my husband and I had as kids. Book ahead but totally worth the wait. We’re so incredibly grateful to have finally found a talented dentist that we can trust.

Negative experience: Our first experience at this practice and it turned out to be a total disaster. My wife got two fillings and had complications immediately after after the procedure. it later turned out to be an infection in the mouth due to potential side-effect/negligence of the injection administered by the dentist. We are extremely annoyed and angry. It has played havoc with my wife as she is in extreme pain and has caused severe discomfort to us. Not recommended at all...

Fantastic experience: Dr Koo is the most brilliant dentist that we have ever encountered. It is very rare to meet a health professional who is technically excellent, but also has a warm and caring bedside manner. It is clear that Dr Koo actually cares about his patients and about the work he does. We look forward to our twice yearly family check ups with Dr Koo. Our son had an extraction yesterday and actually left the clinic smiling and laughing - how amazing is that. We highly recommend Dr Koo!

Fantastic experience: Dr Anselm Koo is gentle, caring, very knowledgable and skilled. He keeps up with new technology, has been amazing with my kids (my kids are not scared to go to the dentist). He goes to great lengths to make you comfortable and pain free. He seems to really understand when to use early intervention and when to leave things alone. My daughters teeth were potentially problematic, but due to his management, we have managed to avoid orthodontic work! He has helped us and extended family out during tooth emergencies and always works to what's best for the client, even if it costs you less!

Positive experience: I had to rate 4 instead of 5 because once when I was running late (I have an infant and 2 older kids) and missed my appointment by 15min, one of the younger doctors whom I was seeing actually refused to see me. Yet, almost every time I'm there on time I have to wait 15-30min to be seen! I'd understand if he had other patients but this dentist proceeded to walk around the clinic for the next 15min, obviously available, during which time he could have seen me ... and after that, he changed and went home!! He refused me out of principle, and wasted my afternoon n effort in getting a babysitter!! Just because! If I can wait for my appointments without complaint when they are running late, surely he could extend the same courtesy?? I will never see him again.
