Negative experience: :-( Extremely Disappointing and Misleading Experience I went to Pacific Smiles Dental Baulkham Hills recently with my wife, and the experience was honestly terrible. Before the appointment even started, I was very clear about confirming the cost. The receptionist checked my private health insurance card and explicitly told me that for both me and my wife, we would only need to pay an extra $7. I asked her to double-check the amount before we proceeded with the service, and she reassured me it was correct. However, after all the services were completed, when I went to the counter to make the payment, the same receptionist suddenly said there was “some issue with the system” and that I now had to pay $114 instead. This was extremely disappointing and frustrating, especially because I had been careful to confirm the cost beforehand. To make matters worse, the receptionist was very inexperienced and completely unhelpful in resolving the issue. There was no clear explanation, no accountability, and no effort to fix the problem. We were basically put in a position where we had no choice but to pay the extra $114 after already receiving the service. This feels misleading at best and a rip-off at worst. If there are issues with their system or billing process, that should not become the customer’s problem — especially after being given incorrect information upfront. I’m writing this review to warn others: Do not rely on what you are told at reception. Get the exact payment amount confirmed in writing before agreeing to any service. There seems to be a serious problem with their billing system and staff training, and customers may end up paying far more than what they were initially promised. I would not recommend this clinic based on my experience.

Negative experience: Pacific Smiles is too full of itself because it has so many practices around which has caused them to neglect their patients. Penrith for example during winter or any season,like to have their air-conditioner at freezing point many patients and myself have silently endured this not wanting to approach the mighty Dentist and feel even more nervous than we are because we are shivering but they did 0. More & more patients are discovering Holistic Alternatives that I just dont know if the PS will be able to keep up to date with.

Negative experience: First time visit but would be the last time visit here, not very present experience, my husband said, after x Ray took, no explanation. After cleaning teeth, no polishing so still feels very sharp and uncomfortable. No mouth wash basin in the dental chair, I never had that kind of chair, unpleasant experience. This is free dental service which covers by private insurance, but still the dentist should do proper service to the clients, as they will claim for more than $500 to the private insurance. I hope this centre improves their service.

Fantastic experience: r. Neha at Pacific Smiles Dental is an amazing doctor. She is very knowledgeable, professional, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. Her calm and caring approach made the entire visit comfortable and stress-free. I highly recommend her. She even did clean for my son who was extremely nervous but she made sure to explain him at his level and made it a smooth process for him. He is now more aware about dental health than ever

Negative experience: I am both shocked and disappointed by today’s appointments with Pacific Smiles. This was my first time booking and it will certainly be the last. I made appointments for teeth cleaning for both my wife and myself, as well as a dental check-up for our child. The appointments were scheduled for 10:00 am today, and because it was a public holiday, we even called in advance to confirm. We arrived at Pacific Smiles Baulkham Hills on time, only to be told that the dentist was running late. However, after waiting for 45 minutes, we were informed that we would need to reschedule, as the dentist never showed up at all. This experience was extremely frustrating. We had declined invitations to spend the public holiday with friends so that we could keep these appointments. To have the dentist not show up without any prior notice is both unacceptable and unprofessional. While the receptionist mentioned that the dentist is a contract dentist, that is not an excuse. As a dental chain, Pacific Smiles should ensure that patients receive reliable service and that your reputation is upheld consistently — regardless of whether the practitioner is contracted or not.

Fantastic experience: Very patient and understanding dentists. Good with kids.

Fantastic experience: I was a little hesitant in going to see a dentist whom I had never been to before, but I found Dr. Yalda Shalma at Pacific Smiles Dental at Baulkham Hills to be the most caring, knowledgeable and attentive Dentist I have ever been to.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, my experience at this clinic was disappointing from the start. The receptionist was not welcoming and couldn’t provide a clear answer when I asked how much I would be expected to pay for a specific procedure. I had also completed the new patient form online beforehand, but they didn’t have it on their system, so I had to fill it out again. The dentist( Doctor D Dosaj) did not resolve my issue and instead suggested unnecessary procedures like taking a photo inside of my teeth with a special camera, even though my issue was clearly visible without it. In the end, I paid a significant amount without having my problem solved or receiving any useful recommendations. I left feeling frustrated and taken advantage of.

Negative experience: I went to pacific smile 2 yrs ago had to get new denture when the teeth finally came told the dentist I wasn’t happy went back 4 times to have them adjusted so still can’t wear them very disappointed still wearing my old denture which is 10yrs old should be able to get a refund the same as any product you are not happy with.i sent a email to pacific smile 2 weeks ago still haven’t had a response.Margaret single

Fantastic experience: Went in over the weekend after reading all their reviews. There’s definitely a reason this place is rated so highly. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. I usually get really anxious at the dentist, but Dr. Priya was so gentle, patient, and understanding—she really made me feel at ease. My daughter also had her teeth cleaned by Dr. Priya and had a great experience. She was kind, explained everything clearly, and made the whole thing really smooth and comfortable. The front desk staff were lovely and helpful, and the consultation was very reasonably priced. Overall, the whole team is professional, approachable, and genuinely caring. If you get nervous about dentist visits like me, I’d definitely recommend this place. Dr. Priya and the team make it a much better experience. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: too bad customer service and expensive cost -bad experience!!

Negative experience: Dr Reddy who was the only dentist I liked has left; the other younger dentists are too rough, rushed, and unfriendly.

Negative experience: The dentist answered my questions after the regular check-up, which was good. However, my lip was bleeding after the cleaning - shocking. Will go to a different clinic next time.

Fantastic experience: I lost a filling on Saturday morning and managed to get an appointment the very next day. The reception staff were absolutely lovely, super helpful, patient, and took the time to explain exactly what would happen and what I’d need. I get really anxious about going to the dentist, so I was dreading the appointment, but Dr Gotham and Rosa were amazing. They were so kind and professional, talked me through every step, gave me as much time as I needed to take breaks, and never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. They did a fantastic job with the filling too. I’m really grateful for how caring and professional everyone was. I’ve already booked my next appointment for a clean.

Fantastic experience: It was my daughter’s first time getting a dental check-up and polishing, and Dr. Yalda was absolutely amazing. She was so kind and gentle with my daughter, making the whole experience comfortable and completely fear-free. I truly appreciate her dedication and the wonderful care she provided.

Fantastic experience: Today, my husband took my son to Pacific Smiles Dental Baulkham Hills for his routine check and clean. Dr Anjaly Christopher saw him. She really did thorough job and adviced on braces. She was very careful in cleaning and polishing. Really appreciate her services.

Negative experience: Other day (25.3.2025), I went to Pacific Smiles Dental Baulkham Hills to get a routine check and clean. I had no complaints with my teeth. I saw Dr Yalda Shams, she did clean Ok, not the best since I can see my teeth still have some stains. In the end, she asked if she could take some X-rays to keep in my file, I agreed. Ideally, she should have taken 2 X-rays, but she took 4 X-rays to drain my private health insurance (NIB) limit. Moreover, when I left her room, she took me to the Panoramic Radiography room and took a Panoramic X-ray without any reason and need and drained another $97.85. She didn't even bother to show me the Panoramic X-ray. Essentially, she finished my entire year's dental limit (total charge $434.70, Ideally it should only cost my insurance (NIB) $184.7). Now, I don’t have any limit left. Obviously, I didn’t pay anything from my pocket, but she should not have given me two additional X-ray doses and one for Panoramic Radiography without any reason. Strange!

Fantastic experience: Very good practice especially if nervous going to see the dentist!! this is the one to attend, always a relaxed and comfortable experience can highly recommend

Positive experience: Dr Dosaj is great! However, the admin/ reception is a little disorganised.

Negative experience: I went for a general cleaning and check up. Doctors are ok and service is fine but it seems the overall clinic business motive is to extract as much money as possible when you go through a health fund with no gap. They did couple of X-rays on me when i had no issues with my teeth and didnt explain the cost of these. Charged $30 for just putting some paste on my gums at the end of the clean up. Overall the price was $260 for a 10 min clean up including x-ray costs of $80. Even though it was No gap but the cost comes out of my yearly limits ans it is important the service is fair and the clinic is not charging patients by performing tests which are totally not needed.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Christopher is very knowledgeable and took the time to work out a treatment plan for me and broke it down into stages. Despite my previous trauma of dentists, Dr. Christopher made me feel comfortable and explained what she was doing all through the process. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Had 3 teeth extracted and the dentist left tooth particles in my gum. I bled for over 12 hours and a week later am still in excruciating pain

Negative experience: They didn't provide my x-ray until I mention about my son's appointment (as in I would cancel it if I didn't get the x-rays). I gave them a second chance and asked for my son's x-ray and I'm in the same situation. The x-rays are for specialist not because we are going to a different dentist. Thousands of $ lost, no business sense.

Negative experience: Pacific Smiles at Baulkham Hills did not disclose they were affiliated with NIB and accessed my dental records without my persmission. Through a phone call, without having seen anyone, whitening was denied because the dental nurse told me "the dentist wants me to have my root canals done before they are whitened". Is this a money grab? Poor service - I denied my patronage.

Negative experience: I went to parramatta this week (Saturday )and had deep clean for my gum after going home I was so much in pain with normal pain killer didn’t work I asked for prescription they said they will send it but nothing came, when I called they said the dr. left, next day was still in much pain my husband when to them and asked the dentist for the prescription she said I will send it by email, never happen and when I called again they said dr not here, we will tell her to send it but nothing happened, the dr. Left her patient 2 days in pain without a care. My boy had also a clean up routine and they bruised his cheek with the sucking machine and he still in pain can’t eat from Sunday . Will never book this dentist again Some of reception staff (specialty weekend ) very unprofessional and they don’t know what they doing, some are rude I’ve been there for a while but it’s time for me to move to another place !!!

Negative experience: The Receptionist lacks common sense. During a surgery , the Receptionist went and disturbed the dentist in the middle of a surgery to inform that there are other patients waiting and need to hurry up ,She was trying to rush the Dentist. Pathetic service.

Negative experience: Existing patient, and it took over 15 minutes to fill out all my information AGAIN and waiting for the new system to process my information. Unacceptable in 2022 - if you change backend you need to handle the migration. Charged $48 gap for "oral hygiene instruction" - I don't recall anything beyond "keep flossing and brushing your teeth like you already have". Never charged this when visiting Pacific Smiles Town Hall, for which AHM covers the full cost.

Fantastic experience: Dr Maggie Ordonez Tapia is one of the best dentists I've seen. She's thorough, to the point and not pushy in any way. She may suggest preventative dental work but the decision is totally on the customer to make. Thank you for being fab Maggie!

Fantastic experience: I've been scared of dentists for a long time after a bad previous experience elsewhere. But I'm glad how much these guys made me at ease from the customer service to the dentists. Professionalism at its best. I went for a regular check up and then for fillings, the doctors and staff took absolute care through the process and guided me through. Also very well communicated. On my recent visit this Sunday, I reached a couple of minutes late and spent time asking heaps of questions in things. They helped me with all my queries and details even though I was the last appointment of the day (on a Sunday) and then wtayed back to assist me further through the process. Definitely a recommendation to everyone for their dental needs!!!

Negative experience: I showed up to my 11.40am appointment at 11.40am and I was told my appointment was cancelled because I was 20mins late. Despite a phone call confirmation and numerous text message confirmations only 1 day before, they still managed to stuff it up. The Dentist was a different dentist to the one on my appointment, and there was no apologies. He just said, out of the many test messages we sent you and you confirmed, the last message said it was 11.20am, not 11.40am,. Very bad customer service- which was there own fault to begin with. It just show there is no respect for other peoples time, and I won't not recommend you waste your time here!

Negative experience: Reception - the rudest customer service experience i have ever had. Manager during the phone call said "...it is not their problem...". Who the hell says this to customer...? Not recommending these people to anyone, never. Dentist is not doing good job at all but charging well above. I hat to come back right next day to get it fixed. not fixed still. and it was simple job
