313 Vets: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Amazing staff that are also linked with a wonderful adoption agency. Love seing you all and love the amazing advice you have to share
Fantastic experience: Andrea is an incredibly kind and empathetic veterinarian. From the very first moment, you can feel that she and her entire team —the vet student and the receptionist— genuinely care about animals, not just as patients, but as living beings who truly matter. This is not a cold or purely clinical space; it is also a rescue and temporary home for many cats supported through their work with animal foundations. That reality is reflected in the atmosphere, which feels more like a home than a traditional veterinary clinic. One thing I truly appreciated is their philosophy of taking a minute to listen — not only to the person, but also to the animal — before approaching with a stethoscope or an injection. That moment of pause and respect makes a real difference, especially for anxious pets and guardians. On a personal level, I was going through a very difficult emotional time due to a separation, and Andrea took the time to listen to me with genuine compassion. That level of human understanding is rare and deeply appreciated. If you are looking for a veterinarian with a strong human approach, genuine commitment to rescue work, and a team that truly cares, this is a place worth knowing.
Fantastic experience: Dr Andrea and the whole crew at 313 vets are working on a whole other level to other vets. My dog is 16, and was persistently getting sicker. As a fiesty old chihuahua, other vets wanted to make him comfortable but didn’t want to treat him. Came to 313 and Dr Andrea made him feel comfortable instantly, see the photo, he’s never that chilled out in any other clinic. The 313 team tried to help him and wound up diagnosing and treating pancreatitis the other vet missed. After taking him home, I had concerns at one point after hours and Dr Andrea took time to reassure me over the phone and hear me out. I’m so grateful, you guys are truely talented in animal care. Big love from Nat2 and Kimmy!
Fantastic experience: Fantastic full service veterinary care. Ten stars for all the staff. Listening is key to these practioners and nobody is treated like a text book case. Excellent all round.
Fantastic experience: I have been going to Andrea now for over 20 years and they are the best and most caring vets I've ever encountered. Always on hand and ready to help no matter what, I am so appreciative of the time and care Andrea and her staff give to me and my pets
Fantastic experience: Andrea we meet today with our 9 week old blue English staffy. It was a wonderful experience and she is extremely committed as a vet. She informed us on everything we needed to know regarding our puppy. Bailey our staffy loved her. She went well and above giving us guidance with lead training in the street. Awesome experience she now is our vet for our Bailey ❤️
Fantastic experience: I have been taking my border collie here for 4 years. Andrea and the team take an holistic view of animal welfare and I feel she has a genuine interest in knowing the owner as well as the animal. They are caring, pragmatic and knowledgeable. A breath of fresh air compared to the many corporatised money making ventures that pass for vet clinics these days.
Negative experience: Crazy. Asked a simple question. Never answered. Just tried to up sell us on her way.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my cat, Vincent, to 313 Vets for a few years now. I find Andrea and the team very warm and caring, professional and pragmatic. They balance good humour with genuine concern for my fur-baby, and he has always responded positively to the treatments recommended and provided. I can tell Vincent enjoys the comforting homely environment here instead of the cold sterile feel of many other clinics. I’ve never had any problems getting appointments and I appreciate how much effort goes into making the consult as enjoyable and calm an experience as possible for all.
Fantastic experience: We recently discovered our beautiful German Shepherd Miss Heidi struggling and after being given some concerning news from our loyal veterinarian, we desperately sought not only a second opinion, but an opinion that allowed us to process and understand whatever was happening to our precious girl. After speaking to our carer of Heidi, she recommended we go to 313Vets, where she had experienced Dr Andrea many years ago, and had very fond memories of her efforts, style and personality. After owning three German Shepherds, it would be fair to state I seen a few veterinarians and equally a few clinics. Well this place is truly unique, it's a home, with the team sitting amongst their clients, not behind a clinical counter, which projects to any pet that enters this place, a sense of belonging, safety and animal community. Regarding the team, they are simply adorable and friendly. Led by the wisdom of Dr Andrea, the focus and care they displayed for our little girl was amazing. I have never experienced across 32 years of owning dogs, anybody that ignored time, the dark of night, in her efforts to remain with us until 8.30 pm, showing us various x-rays, explaining, helping and guiding us along our journey of uncertainty. We came for a second opinion, we are now a client in the full confidence that our Miss Heidi is in the best possible pairs of hands, no matter what the future holds. And when we departed, we were so grateful for Dr Andrea's kind attention, we hugged her.
Negative experience: I wrote a review about this place a couple of years ago but for some reason it wouldn't show publically on Google so I had to be content with Facebook. However, I now see more recent reviews that sound identical to my experience and I want to reiterate that they are correct. My cats would have been better off if I hadn't brought them here. Andrea was beyond condescending to me and I left in tears. She let one of my cats wonder around a room by himself for half an hour, filmed him without my consent, gave my other cat her injection without me in the room and judged me from for jokingly saying that one of my cats was sulky and needy (because he is, I love him for it) and accused me of not listening to him. She also snapped at me when I said 'i know, no fun' in a baby voice to him when I picked him up because 'can we not have those conversations please, you saw me on the floor with him!' I paid her to give my cats their vaccinations not roll around on the floor with him filming him without my consent but whatever. Don't bring your pets here. It is not in their best interests, there are several other bets in the area who are kind and professional.
Fantastic experience: Earlier this year our beloved Mia (18 year-old Jack Russell) required urgent medical attention. Andrea and her team provided excellent care in a unique and friendly environment that immediately calmed our normally anxious pet, despite her condition. Over a number of visits we met several repeat customers coming and going with their pets. The comfortable familiarity and relaxed nature of these interactions between people and pets alike was very comforting. We recommend 313 Vets to the discerning pet owner.
Fantastic experience: I love my experience at 313 vets. This is not just a clinic but a community of true animal lovers. My boy Areo was so beautifully taken care of. Andrea helped me make tough choices about his end of life care and event spent time with me in the grief of his passing. This is more than a woman with a business but someone truly doing what they love. Thank you Andrea and staff
Fantastic experience: Quirky and different but such a good experience here! Andrea obviously cares deeply for the animals and that comes through in the way she provides care it’s a beautiful place to have your furry family looked after!
Fantastic experience: Andrea is an exceptionally good veterinarian, extremely patient and highly skilled. My dog fell seriously ill a few days ago with an urgent condition, and it was Andrea's team who diagnosed the problem and performed the surgery that saved my beloved pet's life. I am incredibly grateful to Andrea. The way Andrea treats pets is different from other veterinarians. She takes a minute to listen to both the pet and the owner, and I think this approach is wonderful. In that short minute, she can understand the pet's emotions through its behavior, and she has a way of calming them down, ensuring more accurate data readings. I will continue to consult with Andrea for my pet's health in the future. She is an honest and highly skilled person, and I can trust her.
Negative experience: There is no emergency or lack of availability worth visiting this vet. I arrived and there’s dogs and cats just wandering around the reception area freely. Really smart for disease transmission and reactive animals… They took my dog out the back for ‘injections’ and told me to come back later. I said I’d rather stay so Andrea said she’d come back once she finishes with some dental work she kept going on and on about as if it’s my problem. It took them a lot of reminders to actually give me my estimate. An insultingly high charge that I had to push to get down to a more normal rate. She kept saying they need to give my dog anaesthesia. She wasn’t dying, it was a routine hot spot rash. Eventually she agreed not to. Andrea then decided to try and upsell me with her dog walking… When they finally brought me into the room with my dog she was highly distressed - she never has been at any vet before. I was holding the lead and Andrea said ‘drop the lead. She’s fine’. My dog was jumping on me for reassurance and I was patting her and Andrea said ‘don’t look at her, look me in the eyes when I’m talking to you’. She then started a timer for 1 minute so I could have a minute to say what I wanted to before she would then say what she wanted??? I left feeling genuinely concerned that my dog was in danger. I couldn’t leave quick enough. I booked for our regular vet the next day to make sure everything was okay. You’d think the reviews were exaggerating. I assure you, they’re not.
Dear Aaron,
At first you gave us one star with no feedback, which we thought was pretty mean. Now you have found a lot to say, not to us, but to the whole wide world on the internet, again with no initial feedback to us.
In reply, I will quote a famous person and say “Here I stand”. At 313Vets we stand by the principle of listening to a person for a minute and listening to their pet for a minute before we approach with a scary stethoscope or an injection. Other people have found us to be the most genuinely supportive place they have visited. Some people like yourself appear to really hate it.
Clearly you do not believe in such a principle, since when we told you on the phone at the time of your call that we were in surgery and you would have to leave Ginger and let us examine her down in theatre, you appeared to have given that information no regard whatsoever. We care about helping people and their animals so we chose to fit you in on a Friday afternoon when no-one else would. The “insultingly high charges” you referred to were a list of costs that might have been necessary which we had prepared ahead of time from your information over the phone that there was an ear problem. Mercifully, your problem was not otitis externa, but only a pretty nasty hot spot which is much cheaper.
Ginger was great. Even though I said once that she would be better with sedation, which is still a correct assessment, we gave it a go without the sedation, and after listening to her for a minute, we were able to shave most of the hair that had to come away from behind her left ear.
I am pleased that we fixed your problem and lodged your insurance claim. It is also great to find out here on the internet that you contacted your regular vet, since you were not polite enough to let my nurses know the result when they rang to follow up.
To you, and people like you who want to judge both us and others in the world before you even know us, yes please Aaron is correct. This is not the right clinic for you.
To anyone who would like to be listened to with an open mind, and have their pet treated with respect, please feel welcome.
In conclusion, there might have been further confusion about the anaesthetic I talked about, which was not about Ginger, but was about the 13-year-old greyhound I was focusing on. That dog is doing very well without the eight teeth we removed, and her recovery was uneventful, after Aaron left.
Fantastic experience: Andrea has been our go-to for our 3 dogs for years and has been absolutely wonderful every step of the way. Andrea is not just an amazing vet but also clearly understands animals and how to work with them in a way that I’ve never seen before.
Negative experience: A horrible experience, giving my dog acupuncture when I didn’t consent to it, and found more needles on her when I returned home. Also told me to stop using a harness on my dog, which she then took off, I told her my dog will get out of a collar if it sees another dog, it did and lucky the dog wasn’t on the other side of riversdale road because my dog would have been hit by a car. If you have any love for your pets at all don’t take them to see Andrea. You will regret it.
Negative experience: My usual vet was closed and 313 was the only vet with availability. When I arrived, I noticed how unhygienic, unprofessional and dirty the house was (there were acupuncture needles all over the ground). The consultation started with them asking what my favourite number was followed by my dog and I having to sit in silence for a minute each. I am reasonably open-minded but alarm bells were definitely ringing. I gave a very brief history of my dog, which includes one episode of pancreatitis following a dog attack. Andrea barely examined her and immediately decided it was pancreatitis. She claimed that to be 100% sure, they could do an expensive test that with one drop of blood could tell us immediately if it was pancreatitis or not (I've recently confirmed with multiple vets that such a test does not exist). I was told my dog would need multiple injections, to go on an IV drip and would need to be kept for what could end up being up to two weeks costing $6000+. I was very concerned and resistant at this point, which was when Andrea became extremely pushy, condescending and rude. I tried to be as polite as possible to avoid aggravating her. While I tried to call my partner, she took my dog to another room to give her "injections". When Andrea finally brought my dog back, I noticed how stressed she was and that she had fur missing on her hip. Her harness was also completely taken off (no other vet has needed to remove her harness for injections or do them in another room). I was incredibly uncomfortable and scared and said that I didn't want to proceed. Andrea pretty much threw my dog at me and said that she'd already "wasted enough of her time" on the consult and that she needed to go back to a dental procedure that she was in the middle of. I quickly paid and left. The tax invoice provided no itemised list of the "medications" given (huge red flag). I ended up taking my dog to CARE in Collingwood for emergency treatment. Turns out she didn't have pancreatitis and instead needed surgery. They operated immediately and she has since recovered. Had I left her at 313, she likely would have died.
Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say how impressed and satisfied I am with my recent visit to 313 Vets. Being new to the area my eye was caught by the wonderful street art on the fence and upon closer inspection the ease of access for myself and the dogs. I rang for a quote which was comparable to other enquiries I had made from other vets and I was then able to readily book an appointment. When I arrived at 8.00am Monday morning with 2 dogs in tow I was welcomed and made comfortable as were the dogs and Andrea the Vet was even able to give me a few dog handling tips that proved to be invaluable to me and made our whole vet visiting experience hassle free and in fact I would say over and above expectations. 313 Vets is now "my" Veterinary Practice and Andrea is definitely my number 1 choice of vet! I am 65years old and come from a rural background. I have had many dogs, cats, horses and cattle requiring veterinary attention and over the years and I confess "Vets" in general are not my favourite people. I am extremely happy to say 313 Vets has changed my opinion about that.
Negative experience: I went and visited today to see if the dog my friend had fostered was up for adoption when we moved. The lovely woman at the door, let me know Harry the dog and Andrea the vet were out, however allowed me to visit the cats up for adoption. I received a call from Andrea shortly after and it started off very confusing and confrontational. I was told I had 1 minute to speak then she would speak, when I went silent Andrea then said ‘this is why I give you one minute, because now I’m doing all the talking’. I found Andrea very unprofessional, unpleasant, judgmental and controlling. I am not a child nor should I be spoken to like one. The audacity of demanding time limits of 1 minute on conversations is ridiculous, she also was talking to people on the street calling out to someone and not at all interested in my conversation. When Andrea originally dropped off my friend and Harry the dog, it was also confronting. I was putting rubbish out and asked how long the dog would be staying on the shared property so I knew to keep the gate closed etc. and was met with very confronting conversation with her asking me ‘is it a problem, he’s friendly’. I was then judged on her second hand information about myself and my son and was told I was welcome to visit but she didn’t want Harry to back track. I grew up on a farm training animals I was more than happy to put in the hard work, to get Harry trained again. In no way would I ever deal with this person again, I’m going to assume there is a reason why there are so many animals that have not been adopted over MONTHS with such an unprofessional attitude like that.
Negative experience: Terrible experience. The main vet Andrea was very condescending. She makes the pet owners go outside of the consultation room whilst they perform "injections", which is absurd as there is no transparency about what is going on. Prices are also not clear, and you will end up spending much more than expected. There was a student vet who was lovely however.
Negative experience: WORST VET EXPERIENCE EVER. DO NOT SEE ANDREA. Very very rude and the conditions of the place did not seem up to standards. Absolutely crazy with making snide, rude comments towards owners. Does not seem qualified to be seeing any animals at all. Several horrible experiences like my family's own, where Andrea is very unprofessional and should not be close to any animals at all, out of their own safety. Charged and prices way too much for treatment that is not needed. Wannabe therapist for animals as she gave them "a minute of silence" to talk. Where on earth did this lady get her veterinary license from, the 1800's!?!!?! There is really not enough words to explain how horrific this experience was. Andrea should really be looked into for her significant amount of unprofessionalism as well as the large number of misdiagnosed cases. Once again, for the safety of your animals and your own sanity...do not see Andrea, worst experience ever.
Fantastic experience: We have been going to 313 vets for 10 years now. Both our dogs Duke and Dazey (10 & 7) Have been seeing Andrea and Vanessa over that time. Their expertise, warm, kind and positive manner, has been comforting. This helps when we are going through challenging times of worry and fear regarding our dogs. Duke can get quite anxious going to the vet and they take such good care of him. Thank you for everything over the years. All the team have always been lovely and caring.
Fantastic experience: Personable and authentic experience. Amazing service and every question answered. Our cat, Rosie, has come home happy and healthy! We’ve found our go-to Vet! If you’re reading reviews then I hope that this helps you find yours!
Fantastic experience: We love going to 313 Vets, they really care for our precious dog and our family
Fantastic experience: Andrea and her team always have time for our family. They provide a Homey environment and work magic on anxious cats. My goto for over 10 years.
Fantastic experience: Incredibly grateful and lucky to have these lovely folks as our vet! Can’t recommend highly enough If you’re like me and prone to worrying it can be very stressful being a pet parent. There’s so much to consider, am I providing the best nutrition? Am I following the right flea, tick and wormer schedule? Have they had all their vaccines? And when the inevitable accidents, injuries and sicknesses happen from time to time while they’re running around, eating things they shouldn’t, and generally living their fullest lives, there’s the scariest worry yet, are they going to be okay? I’ve personally found the whole team at 313 vets on Riversdale road to be the most supportive, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable people to help us through all these stresses. Andrea and Vanessa always provide exceptionally care to my babies every time I’ve needed them. They have long open hours and always make time for emergency appointments, and even provided loving overnight boarding when my Henri needed close supervision while he recovered. They’re reasonable priced, especially considering the high quality service, and were very kind and flexible to help me arrange a payment plan to allow me to access more expensive care when it became necessary. They happily took in a baby possum who had been attacked, at no cost, when other vets have refused to care for wildlife that aren’t paying clients. They helpful send me an email reminder when my Charlie was due for his next wormer, something I always struggle to keep track of with 3 month intervals between doses, and don’t generally spam my inbox. They had FIV vaccines available when another vet had been continuously out for months. They very gently and without being condescending or judgmental teach me a little more on to be my best pet parent each time I visit, by incorporating their unique listening practice in each consult and explaining practical home care techniques when possible. Above all, they consistently have the highest respect and empathy for all animals and their guardians. Extra shoutout to the reception staff, especially Emily from my last consult, all just as awesome! Not to mention the clinics itself is gorgeous and so welcoming. Thanks a million guys!
Fantastic experience: A really lovely and caring vet, Andrea was very calming for our very excite-able pup having his vaccinations. Andrea also very kindly gave up some extra spare time to assist me with some walking training - what an absolute pleasure and very grateful for the additional help We’re so happy we found you!
Fantastic experience: We have used Dr Andrea and 313 for the whole time it has been open. They are wonderful vets, so very compassionate and working with the whole family to give the best care; we have had one cat pass through their care, and they do a fantastic job of looking after our other two. Dr. Vanessa has also been a cornerstone in supportive, caring and kindly treatment for our cats, even when the most difficult decisions have to be made. I cannot rate them highly enough.
Fantastic experience: I have been taking my dog here for the past 13 years ! Very knowledgeable Vets - and all staff are so lovely and caring.
Fantastic experience: We took our two dogs here for a check up and vaccination. We and the dogs are very happy!
Thank you Thomas! We are delighted to hear that you and the dogs enjoyed your visit with us! We look fowards to seeing you again soon
Fantastic experience: The vets have a lot of experience and everyone is friendly and willing to go the extra mile. I bring my pets here because they are treated with love and care.
Thank you Jess!
Negative experience: Whatever you do, don't go to this clinic! Absolute nightmare! The vet didn't supply us with stickers of the vaccinations she applied and when we needed to provide them for overseas pet transport, and they weren't accepted (due to missing sticker), she charged us again for the mistake she has made! Yes, charged us twice for one vaccine to supply a sticker she didn't give at the first place. Not surprisingly, this sticker wasn't valid and caused delays in our pet's transport. Extremely unprofessional in so many other ways like suggesting clients they need to go on a diet, offering alcoholic drinks, adding treatment that weren’t asked for and charging for them and not being transparent with prices...
Fantastic experience: Dr Andrea was amazing! She was so caring and kind towards our cat and us :) the staff also went above and beyond and were lovely.
Thank you Jo ! We are happy to hear that Dr Andrea and all of our staff made you, and your cat feel comfortable during your visit.
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, managed to bring my cat back from the dead!
Negative experience: Took our cat here some time ago as they were our local vet at the time. Where to begin… there were acupuncture needles littered throughout the clinic. The vet was very pushy and patronising. My partner was once asked to leave the clinic after making a comment about our cat not liking being injected. Quote “negative energy wasn’t welcome in this clinic.” We were told our cat had bad arthritis and were put on a fortnightly injection schedule costing $40-50 a session. We were assured this was a discounted offer and she even ‘threw in’ acupuncture treatments. Apparently our cat needed urgent dental surgery and had possibly serious kidney issues. We didn’t have much money at the time (due to covid) and expressed our concern about the price. She told us to stop buying coffees out to save up for dental surgery and had us buying expensive food to fix her kidney issues. Upon moving and seeing a new vet we were surprised to find our cat had no kidney issues, good dental health and to top it off her arthritis injections were measured by weight, and were only $12 a jab and only needed twice a year!!! We probably wasted over $500 with this vet. Absolutely cannot recommend this vet any less. Steer clear!!!!
Fantastic experience: We have been taking our Cat Spotty to 313 vets in Hawthorn for last 4 years. Always found that booking her in was easy, the doctors and the assistants were too good to treat your pets. Also always had other pets in the residential care who were recovering. One of the nicest and safest place I have visited so far. Will recommend to all pet parents.
Fantastic experience: I have been taking my cats to 313 for many years and the medical service has always been excellent. The staff is friendly. I have felt my cats were in the best hands possible. The vets often went above and beyond their expected role in compassion.
Fantastic experience: Andrea was great looking after our 14 year old poodle lola who was very unwell. She took control and we are so grateful as our dog is now home and well again. Thanks Andrea and your staff! She also offers acupanture which is great for lola.
Negative experience: Cannot believe how unbelievably bad the experience with Andrea was! Was contacted by a friend who was in tears because she was bullied and harassed into unnecessary and expensive treatment for her dog with an upset stomach. When we asked Andrea to remove the drip/IV to allow us to take the dog home to monitor and seek an alternative opinion in the morning, she refused! Continued to speak condescendingly to the owner and refused repeatedly to allow the dog to leave without an IV catheder left in.. even began taping it to the dogs leg whilst we yelled at her to stop. Upon leaving the vet, we located a dirty accupuncture needle stuck in her hind leg! Absolutely dreadful vet who seems incompetent and overly concerned with taking all the money she can from her clients with no regard for the animal. Poor receptionists/vet nurse seemed mortified.
Fantastic experience: Andrea & the whole team at 313 Vets are truly wonderful. Very kind, honest & knowledgeable (much more so than other vets/animal professionals i’ve encountered). The clinic is a relaxed genuine atmosphere, not hyper institutional/clinical like most modern vet clinics (which seem to be an issue for some reviewers....I would encourage them to open their minds a little). Every animal is given exceptional & loving care in a safe, caring environment. In addition, pet owners are counselled & educated by the team to improve animal/human connections. Highly recommend!
Negative experience: I cannot express how bad my experience here was. The reception staff are lovely but the head vet Andrea is absolutely terrible. I was in the clinic for over 2 hours and in that time she couldn’t even clip my dogs nails. I was charged nearly $900 upfront and then I was sent away with my dogs having received none of the treatments that I requested. She took bloods from the wrong dog. Gave my dog acupuncture which I didn’t ask for and isolated my sick dog who had been vomiting in a cold room for a whole hour “to calm down”. My sick dog was sent away having received zero treatment. I immediately took him to a different vet and he was treated immediately. I’ve spent the last 3 months trying to get a refund. I’m still owed over $100. Please take your beloved animals elsewhere.
Fantastic experience: We would like to recommend and thank Andrea from 313 Vets. Her care, kindness & professionalism were amazing, especially during heart-breaking circumstances. Whenever there were times of need with our dog, Sarge, Andrea always made herself available and went above and beyond. Again, we highly recommend her. - The Sandor family
Fantastic experience: I visited 313 Vets last year for the first time when my dog became suddenly ill . .. she had a fairly serious condition that requires hospitalisation. and I had much concern for her .. during her stay Andrea and the girls took very good care of my dog and of me .. they are truly animal lovers and similarly caring to the pet owners .. my dog recovered fully .. I write this 6 months later because I had to return the other day for a more minor issue (fleas) and my dog and I were treated like family members .. my dog’s tail was wagging as she approached and was genuinely happy to see Andrea again.. Andrea is a true family vet - the clinic has a “relaxed “ person /animal friendly envronment - Andrea was also helpful with general care of my dog , helping me with behaviour and diet recommendations which also truly helped .. this practice gets the thumbs up from me and wagging tail from my dog .. can’t get better than that .. thank you Andrea and girls.
Fantastic experience: I love 313 Vets. Ondrea the owner is so nice and so professional. Alex is great as well. I have had a fantastic experience with 313 Vets and they have little kittens at the moment so get down there quickly!!!
Negative experience: Vet misdiagnosed our pet over a suspected ACL injury. Wasted our time/money but most importantly over a year of our pets life. Got a second opinion and turns out she has done her ACL joint and is booked in urgently for surgery. I can say front of house are nice but always get a second opinion. Would not recommend going here.
Naturally we are all really happy that things have worked out with you and Jordy, Anthony. Actually we are great at doing surgery on ACL injuries. Our latest Groodle surgery was walking, on all 4 legs, the next day and we have consistently great outcomes. We can offer both de angelis or TWO (tibial wedge osteotomy) options. For the information of other owners, cruciate surgery is not ever an emergency. Many dogs have "cruciate ligament disease" before the ligament eventually ruptures. For all cases, proper planning is super worthwhile. Thank you for letting us know the outcome with Jordy.
Fantastic experience: I recently visited Andrea, Alex and the team at 313 Vets and was warmly welcomed by a number of small happy animals upon entry. This clinic is like no other clinic I've been to. They shared so much passion and empathy, and I will be taking my cat here eveytime now!
Fantastic experience: Alex and Matt are absolutely delightful people and knowledgeable professionals. Let'be frank, running a vet clinic is nearly as much about handling worried humans as it is about making animals better Matt on reception made us feel welcome and reassured. Lots of mats and space for furry patients to play or nap while they wait. The practice has two friendly live-in cats, one of whom is paralised (which, again, tells a lot about how much they care). Alex herself addressed all our questions and concerns about our foster cat's condition (who behaved as a champ, despite usually not liking being handled). She asked a few questions, ran all the tests we asked for, explained everything, advised against unnecessary stuff, performed all procedures we agreed upon, and gave prescription meds - she's a very attentive, thorough and efficient doctor! Think we've found a practice we trust, and will be coming back to for all furry needs
Fantastic experience: Super friendly place with excellent services and care for pets. We brought our family dog here after it was hit by a car and they monitored her day and night, nursing her back to health. The kids were very distraught and they showed immense compassion and care for us all.
Fantastic experience: Andrea helped me with a last minute consult for our cat. Passionate and extremely knowledgeable about all animals! Highly recommend!
Negative experience: Awful Very smelly on a Monday morning Cats shut in the whole weekend Operating theatre Filthy
Fantastic experience: Great vet that truly cares. Andrea is also very knowledgeable about dog behaviour and human/dog psychology
Fantastic experience: Care, understanding and professional duties are 10/10
Fantastic experience: We have been with 313 Vets for many years now, and they are outstanding. Our cat recently went through a serious ordeal that required multiple surgeries and a lot of care. Her health and comfort was their greatest priority, and she was clearly happy and comfortable throughout her stay (as were we!) It was a very stressful time for us and their large team of vets and nurses are all extremely caring, compassionate and friendly - they make you feel very much at ease in what is normally an exceptionally stiff, clinical and unpleasant situation. We never went without an update and received several photos by text which was lovely! We were always updated on costs, as they were in the thousands for this occasion, but we were reassured that they would not to demand payment the minute we checked out (as most other vets do) that their priority was the health of our cat, and we could talk about payment plans or billing insurance later. Could not fault a single thing. Your pet is in wonderful hands with 313!
