Fantastic experience: Been getting regular check ups here for over a year now. The staff is wonderful. Dr. Diego Marquez is a fantastic dentist; he's very gentle and precise in his work. Everyone at the clinic puts in a lot of effort to make dental visits as comfortable as possible.

Fantastic experience: This dentist was amazing, from the receptionist Sammy to Dr Diego, I had a really great, safe and easy appointment. Dr Diego took the time to explain everything to me in detail and was very professional. Not only that, the practice is really lovely and the receptionist Samantha is so genuine and friendly. Negative experience: Unfortunately, I had a really bad experience here. Following an appointment with Dr Diego De Lara in which he identified I needed two fillings, I came in to get those done. Dr Diego started cleaning and was about to work on a tooth that was not one of the previously identified that needed to be filled. I was able to intervene and ask him to check his records but had I not, I would have walked away with an incorrect filling in a healthy tooth and with one tooth still experiencing decay. At first, he dismissed my request to check and it was only after I stood fast and insisted that he realised his error. I have since filed a complaint about this to the healthcare complaints commission that has been recognised and acted upon - I hear there are new measures in place to prevent this by the practitioner.

Fantastic experience: I have just recently had a root canal procedure done by Dr Michael Hui. I was extremely pleased by the clear information provided at all stages, calm and reassuring demeanor, and the impressive technical excellence. I highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Dr Michael did my impacted wisdom teeth surgery and I am glad I went with him. I was deathly afraid so I brought headphone and eyemask and I can barely feel anything once the anaesthesia kicks in. The nurse was also very nice, she gave me some pillow to squeeze because she noticed me pinching my own thighs to distract myself. Both of them made sure I was alright before proceeding. I even asked them to stop between songs so I don't have to hear the drill sounds and they did just that. Post operation, I was prepared for swelling and pain but barely any pain I was ready to stop painkiller 30 hours in because I really didn't feel any pain. There was barely any swelling as well. The whole practice is filled with kind people, I had some scare where I called them and ask if I should worry, I swished too hard etc but they were always patient and understanding.

Fantastic experience: They have saved me. Rob, the manager, is so understanding for what is going on. And Michael the dentist explained me everything. I can only recommend this place. I went the week prior to glebe dental group which is in the same Street and the dentist Mo Murad wanted 3/4 grand from me for treatment which I don't even have to do (they have even taken 1 grand from me for a filling, which wasn't neccecary and a extremely overpriced cleaning). I was very suspicious since I always look after my teeth. So I went to Dr. David Nguyens to double check. And yes, there is nothing which needs to be done and my teeth are healthy. I'm so happy that I've found this place. Thank you :)

Fantastic experience: I had two of my wisdom teeth extracted by Michael a week ago, and he did an extremely good job. My experience may be different to yours, but I hardly had any pain or swelling afterwards. I also went in for a clean, and the whole process felt very gentle and unobtrusive, as opposed to some other dentists who just jab at your mouth. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had a lovely time here, despite my reason being there was for a cavity and not so lovely. From making an appointment with Rob (the practice manager) to the moment of sitting in the dentist chair with Dr. Hui, it was a pleasant experience. I did not feel guilted or shamed for not having gone to the dentist sooner (which I have experienced with other dentists). I appreciated Dr. Hui taking time to answer all my questions, the advice he gave for better care of my teeth, how friendly he was, and how he checked in periodically during my cavity filling/cleaning to make sure I was okay. My two appointments were painless and I am sad to be leaving the country now after finding a place that I trust and would recommend to my friends.

Fantastic experience: Very professional and friendly practice. I saw Dr David Nguyen and had the most gentle but thorough teeth cleaning that I’ve had in my life! He also offered some options to solve some minor issues caused by my sensitive teeth but was upfront about costs and always made it clear that it was my choice whether and when I wanted to go through with the procedure. Would definitely recommend, especially for anyone with a fear of the dentist!

Fantastic experience: It was my first time at the practice for a check up and a clean. I had some concerns with my wisdom teeth, Rob reassured me over the phone and let me know about the process which I was very grateful for. On the day, Dr Michael looked after me. I have never had such a pleasant and guided experience. I was explained throughout the visit what we were doing and why, given recommendations and advised of the estimated price so there were no little surprises at the end. Dr Michael took short breaks between my clean to make sure I was comfortable and feeling great. Fantastic patient care and wonderful people!

Fantastic experience: I recently moved into the area and chose this practice based on an earlier Google review. I was seen by Dr John Kim (one of the three dentists who work at the practice) and he was polite, efficient and thorough. He charted my teeth, explained to me the two spots I needed to keep an eye on for future decay and gave me a good clean and flouridation. I especially liked that they have the doctor's name on the door instead of a hundred photos of models with artifically perfect teeth. I wasn't asked once if I'd though about teeth whitening which is nice - I felt like he was thinking about my health rather than his bank balance, unlike some dentists. We also discussed a possible preventative fill for one of my potential problem spots but again, there was no pressure to do the procedure and he was quite happy for me to just monitor the spot and brush extra well. The total cost (including the extra first-visit charge for the charting) was $200, which is quite reasonable for this part of town. My health fund paid $128 of that through the HICAPS system so I only had to hand over $72 on the spot. It seemed a good, settled, old-fashioned local practice and I'll be back.
