Fantastic experience: Dr Lovey was fantastic. I am TERRIFIED of the dentist & this was the only time I was relaxed. She explains everything as she works & is extremely empathic & very gentle. If you're afraid of going this is the dentist for you.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sarah, amazing. It took awhile but we got there. All upper teeth removed after many visits. If you have a phobia see Sarah, she is very understanding and caring. Informative through the whole process. Renee on reception is amazing and friendly as well. And a Big thanks to Jessi for organising half my appointments and recommending Sarah. Great place to get rid of your Dental Phobia.

Negative experience: The staff were extremely rude and refused to send me my own dental records stating that I could not request them myself, that they had to be sent to another dentist. They tried to tell me that all dentists do this which is not true as all other dentists that I have spoken to have agreed that I am allowed to request my own personal records. I will never go to this dentist again for more reasons than just this one but I think it is disgusting that they refused to release my own records to me, even if I signed a records release form for myself. Do not go to this dentist, they also caused myself much pain for over 2 years as they have done bad fillings that they told me were fine but another dentist explained were leaking and flexing with every bite.

Negative experience: My recent dental visit was disappointing. The procedure seemed rushed, resulting in considerable discomfort. I suspect a nerve was pressed, leading to post-appointment dizziness. Very Disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Dr Mark was amazing with my step son. Getting a tooth pulled can be traumatising, especially for a child. But Mark was extremely quick and gentle, and he felt no discomfort at all. Highly recommend Dr Mark!

Fantastic experience: What a game changer! Thanks to Dr Mark Archer my TMJ pain and associated problems of dental damage have been resolved. Who would have thought a Botox injection could be so awesome to treat such a painful and at times debilitating problem. Immediate effects, got even better over a few weeks. Can now sleep better, no neck/headaches and no teeth clenching. Don't suffer, just do it!! Thanks Mark.

Fantastic experience: I am very satisfied of the friendly service, I received at Steve King Dental. I only came for a X-ray and consultation with Dr. Tim. And, although I had to be referred (due to circumstances) I am pleased to say, how welcoming he was, towards me. As it was my very first time at a Dentist. He was very Articulate with explaining any important detail, whilst making sure my understanding was in check. Truly appreciate his genuine care and professionalism he had shown. Fantastic experience: My 3 year old got his tooth extracted here today by Dr Nikki and team. She was fantastic, the whole team was wonderful, happy and warm. Dr Nikki was extremely quick which is exactly what my 3 year old needed for a successful extraction. They have the child dental scheme too and the reception team was more then helpful. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Just be careful of hidden fees, my partner and I went in for a teeth clean. I clearly said only teeth cleaning. And somehow they've done a check up on both of us, given my partner 2 X-rays. At no point did they discuss prices with us. The only thing we were told was that it would be $115, until we paid and our total was over $400. Not worth the extra money. Go somewhere who will be upfront with all costs.

Negative experience: I recently had a bad experience at Steve King Dental: my advice is stay away from this dental practice. A dentist called Dr. Lovjeet Kalkat was doing some root canal work on a molar in my lower left jaw. A few days later I started getting terrible pain in the area of that tooth. I've never had such bad toothache in my life. I was taking ten or twelve Nurofen a day and I was hardly sleeping at night. Finally I went to another dentist. He took an x-ray of the tooth that Dr. Kalkat had been working on. After looking at the x-ray he told me the tooth had been perforated. Evidently Dr. Kalkat had drilled straight down through the base of the tooth into my jaw. He pointed to a black area in the bone of my jaw and said "You also have a massive infection in the bone of your jaw". He said the infection was the result of the other dentist perforating my tooth. He said the tooth had to come out immediately. He removed it that same day. So I would never recommend Dr. Lovjeet Kalkat to anyone. She is a recent graduate of JCU and based on my experience she is learning on the job.

Fantastic experience: I have significant anxiety and more than usual when I have to go see a dentist. The staff were amazing. Both reception and the dental staff put in so much effort to make sure their clients are comfortable. Previously my anxiety has been something the dentist just ignores and pushes through. Instead they went at a pace I was comfortable and they let me know constantly how the procedure was going and reassuring me. Thank you so much for the extra effort you all put in. It makes a difference in other peoples lives and you deserve praise for it.

Negative experience: Great work but we go in there in pain and hope to be treated fairly.Get a quote and go home and check it make sure the hidden cost such as X-rays are included my bill almost doubled

Negative experience: Worst experience ever. Dental technician Steve produced the worst set of teeth, I gave them back and demanded money back. I have since found a more professional and far less painful solution elsewhere. I was given every excuse under the sun ( all my fault) bar the correct one.....he is not good at his job, so take some responsibility. BUYER BEWARE

Fantastic experience: Best dentist out. So helpful on short notice. I explain I run a small business 5 days a week and only have two days off a week. My wisdom pop up on Thursday, called the raintrees clinic and had an x-ray appointment for 4pm. Went in for my x-ray and to my surprise got straight in for a wisdom tooth remove. Saved me waiting another week for a day off. 100% recommend, great little place lovely customer service. They went above and beyond to help me out

Fantastic experience: I cannot compliment the staff at Steve King Dental Group highly enough for their professional and caring dental service. Brenda at the front desk is unfailingly cheerful and accomodating and Dr Stefan the Dentist is the most patient and gentle Dentist I have ever been to. He explains exactly what he is about to do and provided an anaesthetic injection immediately when I mentioned the tooth was sensitive and I can honestly say I did not feel a thing. (It was a replacement crown procedure) Over the years I have put off going to Dentists as I can find them too rough or rushed and busy. Dr Stefan and Steve King Dental are a modern practice with obviously excellent work practices and I recommend them to anyone, particularly if you have been putting things off like me. I know also their prices are the most competitive in Cairns and really for the care they provide they are a top quality Dental Clinic.

Fantastic experience: My son sees Sarah and she is amazing. If people have any problems taking their children to the dentist, I highly recommend they see Sarah. She is so comforting.

Fantastic experience: I've used this dental clinic for a number of years and always been happy with both the service and the price. They are a service provider with BUPA so I do get a bit back on private health. I appreciate the text reminder systems which sends me a message every 6/12 for dental cleans/checks. I visited today to have a couple of fillings done and have to say I was very impressed with Sarah Bosnic. She had a lovely bedside manner throughout the procedure and her anaesthetic injection was only mildly uncomfortable.

Negative experience: Went in for my scheduled appointment, but I wasn't on the system. Showed them the print out of the card and oops, don't know what happened. Can you wait for a bit? Sure, after 25mins I walked out. Not only do I lose wages by having to get to my appointment on time, I'm a firm believer that the front office is a reflection of the business. I hate incompetence and if this is an indication of the type of work they perform, they've lost my business. And I have $$$ of work that needs doing. I'll find another dentist that perhaps is not as shoddy as this one.

Fantastic experience: Dental work is expensive anywhere, but I really appreciate the way Dr Mark Archer explains procedures and does not upsell dental procedures. I'm confident when he makes a recommendation, then its essential for my dental health.

Fantastic experience: Getting wisdom teeth out in the chair can seem like a daunting experience to most people , but Dr Mark Archer made the experience an absolute breeze. His caring, calm and empathetic nature, his communication and reassurance throughout the procedure, as well as his skill with extraction, ensured I left one happy and relieved patient. Fantastic experience: I would just like to give Dr Rahele Zabeti and Dr Vernon Gipson a 5 STAR ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rating. I've had extensive dental work done and still in the process and Dr Zabeti and Dr Gibson are working as a tag team bringing back a tied 60 yr old mouth and giving me a Mouth Lift that I can truly smile again and not feel embarrassed any more and when it's all completed I will be able to eat those delicious apples and salads I haven't been able to eat for years!!!!!!! They both came highly recommend from Family and Friends as THE BEST DENTISTS IN CAIRNS!!!!! I definitely agree with that!!!!!! As they are THE BEST DENTISTS IN CAIRNS!!! having looked after me with Kindness and Patients always making sure I was comfortable and pain free as I find it very hard to sit in a dental chair. Fantastic experience: I have been very lucky with my teeth so I tend to notice great service and patient care perhaps more as I'm not busy being worried about any major issues with my teeth (touch wood it stays this way)!! Fantastic experience: ** GREAT SERVICE ** After receiving the POLA Night at home teeth bleaching kit as a gift, I had an appointment booked for me to get impressions done of my teeth. I saw Sue who was incredibly patient in explaining the procedure and what I would experience as the impression material set properly in my mouth. She notified me that from the impression moulds, clear retainers would be made for me to use with the bleaching gel when whitening my teeth. Upon returning to the clinic to receive my retainers, I saw Sue again who tested to see if both the top and bottom retainer was a correct fit my mouth. Dr Steve King then came by to go through the at home instructions with me and demonstrated how to apply the bleaching gel into the retainer correctly. He explained exactly what I should feel and certain things to be aware of whilst performing the treatment and contact numbers for the dentist clinic if I ever needed to call. He also gave me an information sheet to take home to refer to and I left the dentist clinic feeling informed and a very satisfied client. I never would have thought so much effort would have gone into ensuring I performed an effective and safe at home teeth whitening job - when there are basic instructions in the pack to follow - but that goes to show that the staff at Steve King Dental will go above and beyond for their clients. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: After years of really not liking my teeth, I visited Steven King Dental for a general clean and check up. Dr Rahele Zabeti was a wealth of knowledge from the get go, and suggested some minor work that no other dentist has offered. The procedure was relatively painless and the outcome was 10 times better than I expected.. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: After an unfortunate event which caused me to lose a front tooth I recieved amazing support and care from both Dr Vernon and Dr Rahele in returning my smile. Currently I am in the first stage of an implant procedure (dated 19/02/17) which consisted of a bone augmentation placing bone tissue and membrane into the damaged part of my gum, this procedure was by far a painless experience (with the help of anaesthetics)as I was awake for the entire surgery. Post op has seen me with regular checks for swelling and infection to monitor my recovery process an ensure the next stage for implant. I would just like to thank both Dr Vernon and Dr Rahele and there support team at Steve King Dental Group for the amazing work and care that I have recieved and will be recommending this practice to my own clientele, friends and family in the future once again thank you very much.

Dr Zabeti informed me the procedure in detail and when i got the numbing injection it was the first time it didnt even hurt. highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Up from interstate, a chunk of one of my molars broke off. Quick and easy fitted me in, tooth now good as new, and after a polish my other teeth look great too! Wish dentists at home were this good and affordable. Cannot understand some other reviews, the lady dentist I had was excellent. I come up here every year, so will now schedule a check up every time

Negative experience: Buyer beware! I had a amalgam filling removed and replaced with a composite filling. Roughly 3 weeks later I returned, as the tooth hand't settled and was becoming increasingly more painful. I was told it was infected and that the only treatment was a root canal filling, costing $1200. I sort a second opinion from a highly reputable dentist in Cairns who simply cleaned and replaced the filling. $200 My tooth is now fine. I have been told that some dentists have targets to hit! Shame on them, if they do it at our expense! To clarify, my dentist was Dr. Alex at the Pease St practise. Not the Raintrees practise. Thank you.

Negative experience: Worst check up and teeth cleaning ever. I visit a dentist every half a year for cleaning and check up. Is was a rushed cleaning and only cleaned half. Just checked at home and found some black spots. Have to visit another dentist. So I spend now more money by trying to save money with a cheap dentist. :/ Go to a different doctor.

Fantastic experience: I was in a really bad way with a really sore tooth, I had not slept for 3 days. They got me in within the hour, and identified what was wrong. It was an abcessed tooth. I had a choice of root canal treatment or extraction. The dentist gave me local anesthetic so I could think straight as the pain was so bad. I chose to keep the tooth. In 15 minutes the dentist had dressed the tooth with antibiotics, that night I was pain free and slept great. I went back for 2 more appointments to finish the root canal treatment. The dentist said it was normal to take 3 appointments. I was happy with the fee I paid for the service I received. I will be going back for future check ups definitely. These guys are great!

Negative experience: I'm a regular at this dentist, usually my experience is great! But my last experience was terrible!! I had to get 2 teeth removed and the dentist I usually see was away on holiday but the guy who pulled my teeth out didn't wait for the numbing stuff to go into full effect so I came out in a lot of pain. Very disappointed.
