Negative experience: Terrible service,horrible job of. making my top and bottom dentures,I cannot eat with them,the bottom ones just come out all the time and mix with the food,would not recommend them any time,have been to two other denture clinics also Gosford Dental clinic and the all say they are useless,trying to get a refund.

Negative experience: My experience with Pacific smiles & getting dentures was a terrible experience. It was a waste of my money (over $5,000) on dentures & teeth extraction. The dentures only lasted about 2 years. They extracted good teeth because the denture technician said it would be a straighter fit, even though I told them I can't get screw in teeth, as my gums & bone would not cope, so when an anchor tooth for the top denture to clip/hold onto fell out 1 year later & all the dentist said was "you can get a screw in" even though I told the dentist at the beginning i couldn't have scew in teeth & I was just sent home without any conclusion for me. Then, I couldn't wear top denture that properly fitted. Then the bottom denture broke in half & I was told to go to another technician to get fixed, which I did but eventually I had to get new top & bottom dentures costing me another $5,000, but these new dentures are a perfect fit & wished I had gone to this denture centre from the beginning. Pacific smiles dentist was a nice lady but where she got the dentures made up somewhere in Bateau Bay is useless. Pacific Smiles denture technician is very rude & abrupt I would not recommend seeing him either. I had to return back to Pacific smiles about 8 times or more to have dentures refitted as i was in alot of pain most of the time as dentures never fitted correctly from the beginning.

Fantastic experience: On Saturday, between Christmas and New Year, Aurora fitted me in on an emergency appointment for a cracked tooth. Tim did the anaesthetic so gently and carefully, took X-rays and completed the filling in a short space of time, with Aurora assisting. They were so kind and reassuring, as I was really nervous. Vicky helped me at the desk on the way out and was so friendly and helpful, encouraging me to book for a clean etc, so I didn’t delay a check up. The BUPA gap was $43!! Such great service as a new patient and at a busy time of year!

Negative experience: The dentist was good, but it was a shame about the receptionist who created a very hostile and unpleasant environment from the moment I walked in the door. No “hello” or real acknowledgement. Simply a roll of the eyes that she would have to check in yet another client. When I politely asked if the dentist was running on time and if there would be much of a wait, I was told “well you’re 5 minutes early, so it’ll be 5 minutes”. Another patient waiting also commented on her attitude and told me she was rude to them too. After my appointment, I accidentally left without swiping my private healthcare card. She called me and asked me to come back which I did. When I came back, I rang the bell at the unattended desk and she rudely yelled “I’ll be 2 minutes”. I then got to listen to her speak extremely unprofessionally and callously about me to a colleague about how I thought I could just leave, despite me explaining on the phone that it was an honest mistake as I assumed they had my details on file having been a Pacific Smiles patient for many years. She looked extremely embarrassed when she saw it was me waiting at the desk and that I’d obviously heard everything she said. Even if someone else had overheard her, it’s not an appropriate way to speak about your clientele without whom you wouldn’t have a job. It baffles me that companies hire people like this to represent their front of house and to be the first and last impression that is given to their customers. I won’t be back.

Negative experience: Was 9 minutes late, got told sorry all we can do is antibiotics even after my wife booked the appointment she told them I was in hospital for 5-6 hours. Worst service I have ever seen, absolutely pathetic do not recommend this arrogant people.

Negative experience: My mother went in after splitting her tooth, was told there was nothing wrong after explaining the issue. After insisting they reexamine the tooth they found that it was in fact split but was told there was nothing they could do. Mind you this cost $130. Save your money, this place is an absolute waste of your time.

Negative experience: First appt $175.00 which was just ti tell me more unless have 3 visits for new top n bottom dentures took about 5 mins when tried on .old told dentist stock out to far he said wear lipstick to take focus away from teeth when got dentures and thought the top sticking out to far was told will get used to it as my other dentures were pretty worn. When i went to pay the 2900 i was quoted was told by receptionist there is 30 charge for card which I was informed about earlier. Worn dentures fir about 2 hours had to take out as mouth was ulsurated made appt to fix felt like once you paid the attitudes changed you were brushed aside. Did get rubbing fixed but when I said I can't eat or talk properly as the front ones are way to forward was told you have a comfort issue and will get used to it.

Negative experience: Very poor service, was unwilling to perform requested work, very dissatisfied. Due to having health voucher, was made to feel not important or somehow was inconveniencing them. After two appointments no progress was made to completion.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional practice, dentist made repeated attempts to get out of performing the work requested, advised me I suffered from psychological issues and therefore unable to complete work, on two separate occasions this happened, complete waste of time and effort.

Negative experience: Dentist was fine. The receptionist who looked like she was 16 was terrible. Jess her name was. She completely lacks the people skills confidence and communication ability to be at that desk. Couldn't explain to me or guess why my nib claim was denied and clearly couldn't care less. Dreadful. This place is just about money!!! Get em in get em out.

Fantastic experience: I attended Bateau Bay this afternoon as a last minute emergency booking due to breaking a tooth. The admin staff were helpful and friendly. The dentist and dental assistant were also friendly and had safe and appropriate practices. I don't think the dentist is a place anyone wants to be on a long weekend and I left pain free and with a fixed tooth! Highly recommend. Also did not break the bank! win

Negative experience: The customer service/people skills of certain persons within the organisation of Pacific Smiles (Bateau Bay) is pathetic. I doubt I could have been any more humiliated than when I presented myself today - after making an appointment online AND confirming yesterday prior to my appointment that a voucher had been issued - when presenting myself for treatment after being approved by NSW Health (Central Coast) and an approved Government voucher (worth ($750.00, being for initial treatment/assessment). Seriously , what gives you the right to demoralise and belittle people with your comments and chatter behind my back and "I don't do voucher work anymore". I am a person with feelings - I'm not just a bloody voucher.

Negative experience: I’m still trying to get Pacific Smiles to stop sending me reminder messages after I ceased being a customer about two years ago. I don’t know what part of STOP they are failing to understand.

Negative experience: I didn't like the service I got there, I took my daughter there to have her teeth and gums checked. And the assistant dental nurse I did not like just how she came across and how they approached my daughter when sitting in the chair. Never coming back to pacific smiles.
