This is my account of the process I was fortunate to be referred to Dr. Alan Yap. Dr. Alan Yap studied the Periodontist report and had my jaw checked in the well equipped Chatswood rooms. After a lengthy process of getting lingual braces through Dr Nour, Chatswood Orthodontics (who I highly recommended) I then had to decide who should make my 'forever smile' with my Veneers. Fantastic experience: I have an elderly mother who was under the care of Dr Alan Yap of North Shore Dental Specialists. It was comforting having Alan to take care of my elderly mother's Prosthodontic needs with such care and consideration for her wellbeing, especially in the midst of this COVID 19 Pandemic. My mother recently was admitted to a nursing home, she is 90. The care and treatment provided to mum by Alan was of a very high standard with all available options discussed and clearly explained as we travelled this path. I highly recommend Prosthodontic care by Dr Alan Yap if ever needing to receive such specialised care and treatment. He is a wonderful person and very professional at his craft and he is supported by a professional team there at North Shore Dental Specialists.

Fantastic experience: I first visited Dr Alan Yap several years ago for a dental implant after a recommendation from a friend. Fantastic experience: I am french and I arrived in Sydney in july 2013 with a very bad teeth condition. All my life I had been seeing dentists in my home country, and the more dentists I was seeing the worse my teeth became. In Sydney, meeting with Doctor Alan Yap was a total relief, I immediately understood I had choosen the right person to take me out of this lifetime teeth problems. My cure and restoration by Doctor Yap lasted for almost 2 years, he saved what he was able to save of living teeth and for the rest I ended up with 8 implants. Wether it was during normal appointments or surgery I NEVER NEVER felt any pain as Doctor Yap is extremely careful of the well being of his patients. He is a great professional and an excellent specialist and the only dental practionner I really trust. On top of that he is very gentle in his approach, explains very clearly what he is going to do, always make sure you are OK with that, and very easily reachable if you have any question or concern. Now I am back to France and it has been 3 years that his work was achieved, I have a bright smile and all my problems are gone. I now go to the prosthodentist only for routine check up, prosthodentist who is in touch with Doctor Yap. AND IF I HAVE ONE DAY ANOTHER SERIOUS TOOTH PROBLEM, NO DOUBT THAT I WOULD DIRECTLY FLY TO SYDNEY AS THERE IS ONLY ONE DOCTOR YAP IN THE WORLD !!!
