Fantastic experience: I have had Dr David Hogan as my dentist since February 2006. Prior to visiting Dr Hogan I has some very unfortunate outcomes with several other dentists. I could tell from my first dental appointment with him that he was confident, very competent and passionate about his work. He explained his procedures clearly while at the same time making me feel relaxed with his friendly manner and excellent expertise. He has improved the condition of my teeth in so many ways. Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been patients of Dr David Hogan since 2014 in that time we have had several necessary procedures which included Crowns, fillings, Bridges, Braces. Going into the city for my visits is easy (I always combine it with other errands), the complimentary car parking at Uptown (old Myer centre) is very handy. There's always a warm welcome at reception. David is a great dentist who has fixed so many issues for me (don't drink Coca Cola, kids!), I actually enjoy visiting now which is not something I thought I would EVER say about a dentist! David is always up for a chat (super fun when you have a mouth full of equipment ;)), and Comfort, his longtime assistant, lives up her name and is a pleasure to have around. Fantastic experience: I've been going to David for my dental work since 2004 when he helped me remove 4 impacted wisdom teeth without any pain, that's a solid 20 years. I keep going back because David is a dental geek and always keeps up with learning the latest technology and best practices and after going through a number of other dentists, I only trust David to do the best work and ensure the best results. Now all these years later my family and I and a number of recommended friends go to David as well (including helping a close friend get over a dentist phobia by explaining how good David is for listening to patients and delivering on that promise after their first visit). You could go to just any dentist, but I go to the best one I've found and will keep going back for the service, reasonable prices and expertise I get with David.

Fantastic experience: David is lovely. I have been his patient since 1995. He takes the time to care for me as a person, not just a patient. I like that he carefully considers any dental issue and does not leap to any unnecessary treatment. Over the years, he has helped me maintain good oral hygiene although at times I have needed significant treatment. Fantastic experience: David Hogan was first recommended to us when our children moved to Brisbane for schooling in 2001. He has remained our family dentist since then, seeing all our children through their secondary school years (including managing braces, etc., outsourcing where necessary, usually conveniently in the same building)) and now, all in their 30's, they are bringing their own children to David and his professional team. I recently witnessed my 3 year old grandson behave perfectly under David's kind attention (perhaps the movie showing "Nemo" on the ceiling helped the relaxation process!). It is quite rare, and very comforting to know we have the services of the same health professional for over two decades, and now including three generations of our family. Should it be necessary, David always provides us with a detailed quote and plan for treatment before any procedure is entered into, avoiding any unnecessary financial surprises. Fantastic experience: David Hogan has been our family dentist for the last 12 years. His clinical and technical expertise are excellent. He performed complex capping reconstruction on my youngest son's teeth, following damage done due to poor care by an orthodontist. Thanks to David he has an enduring fantastic smile. David undertakes all dental work and does not delegate to a junior dentist or hygienist. He is very gentle, explains what he is doing, and is attentive to hand signals when you need a break. He is a patient centric dentist who has high level dentistry skills and exacting standards. David is also not driven by money or profit. David is naturally curious, obsessed with dentistry and keeps up to date with the latest procedures. None of us have encountered pain during any of our consults, including crown reconstructions and root canals. We are fortunate to have found David through a word of mouth recommendation all those years ago. If you want ongoing high quality dental care and prevention, our family recommends David and his team.
