Sundial Dental Taree

Negative experience: Made an appointment for Taree clinic so I show up for my appointment only to find it was booked at the Port Macquarie clinic instead. Don't care about the excuse but this is not satisfactory. Thankfully another clinic managed to fit me in within the hour, they now have my full support. As for Sundial, clean up your act.

Fantastic experience: Firstly, Alana at Sundial Dental Taree is a superstar!! She went above and beyond her role to help me navigate and upload some online forms she noticed I was struggling with (I’m hopeless with tech ). If you’re reading these reviews in search of a dentist in the Mid North Coast area, I highly recommend Dr Kal. I’ve received nothing short of positive and professional service from Dr Kal and his dental assistant. 11/10!

Negative experience: I called up and made an appointment for a CBCT as I needed 3 dental implants. The sales ladies on the phones were really good and very helpful. I made an appointment that was actually brought forward to 23rd July, due to a cancellation, but the notes weren't, so I had to go back again on 30th July. I had an intraoral scan, while the images for the CBCT were being processed. When the results were through Dr. El far quickly wrote me out a referral to a specialist in Port Macquarie, although I'd advised him I lived in Sydney, then he just got up and left the room. I was not given any reason for a referral, although I did phone reception afterwards to ask and received no explanation. It was very difficult to read the referral, but it did mention a crown for a tooth that I had already advised did not require any treatment, as it had already been paid for elsewhere and was going to be fitted. Both my driver and I saw him walk through into a room with his lunch. I can only "assume" that bone grafting was not done at this practice, because that is what I required. If I had known that I would have gone to a dentist that offered a full implant service and spent more time explaining in a caring manner. The two stars are for the lovely ladies on the phones and in the rooms, however I cannot recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Staff are very welcoming and friendly. They consider my comfort and I'm never uncomfortable getting a clean. Going to the dentist is not something I dread anymore because of this team.

Fantastic experience: I had a broken molar rang around and Sundial Dental Taree squeezed me in for emergency extraction. I was in and out 15 minutes. The best so far didn't feel anything and would definitely go back again if needed and would recommend to anyone.

He recently fitted a crown which is the best i have had, i totally recommend Sundial Dental Taree

Negative experience: Had my teeth cleaned then asked if I wanted fluoride but didn't mention it cost extra! 3x Xrays for a loose tooth, recommended to see a specialist, then said they will send a referral to a specialist at Port Macquarie and give me a call, $350 bucks! They never called the tooth fell out a couple of days later when brushing. I felt robbed. An't no fancy aquarium in the Taree clinic too.
