Negative experience: I do not recommend this place at all. They only offer a very basic cleaning, and their business seems to be “finding” or even creating problems you didn’t have before, just to refer you to a so-called specialist (who is not really one). Then you end up at another dentist with treatment plans of over $3,000. I decided to get a third opinion at the Dental Hospital, and they solved my issue at no cost. The receptionist is extremely rude, arrogant, and hysterical. My dentist was a young girl with little experience, and after a simple cleaning I ended up with an infection in my tooth. ⚠️ Be very careful — absolutely not recommended.

Negative experience: Horrible clinic! Bad experience with both front and back staff. Staff didn’t seem like they wanted to be there at all, vibe was off. Staff were rude and don’t like to be questioned. In a rush and didn’t seem very customer experience focused at all. Will not go back!

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Pacific Smiles Erina to have a molar removed by Dr. Sirinit Wijaithum. My expectation was to prepare myself for the usual pain involved with that procedure. However, Dr. Sirinit completed the extraction pain free, which also included the best clean I’ve ever had. All the staff were both very friendly and helpful. Fantastic experience: Was hospitalised with severe pain from an infection on a root canal done from previous dentist. They got me in for an emergency extraction and I was blown away by their speed, experience, professionalism and expertise. The staff were all so polite and caring and got me through a very troubling time. They went above and beyond and even the price was very great. Can’t recommend them more highly. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Negative experience: TLDR: cheap prices bad filling that caused tooth damage 4 years later due to horrible shaping. So I had a deep cavity that needed a filling. It was a cheap price for my mother to pay but they didn’t fill the tooth properly. The filling was very concave and not fully filled. At my new dentist they had a look after feeling pain from chewing on it. The shape of the filling has put pressure on the walls of my tooth and caused cracking. I don’t chew very hard things. Another filling where my tooth broke off they built it up at the back way past my original tooth shape and I only just got it shaped down like a normal tooth today. Summary: Don’t go here. It’s cheap yes but it will cost you hundreds later down the line to fix their mistakes.

The process and procedure was easily explained and the way it was carried out was gentle. It was such a pleasure to be amongst such kind and informative staff. The room was comfortable and very clean. Any fear I had going into the appointment was taken away by Dr Sirinit and her nurse. I was very grateful.

Negative experience: I have to leave this review as the impact so badly on how reception / administration I received. Our family love the dentist here, been regular check up and visit many times in years. Today I had urgently need help for daughter, I have a look online and try to book as it shown 2available spots but unsuccessful to do so online. I waiting patiently from 7 to 8.30 for the time open HR so I can talk to someone. That person not even asking how bad or about my daughter symptoms, or something to show sympathy toward customer, only can just rush to say there is nothing can offer, no available and hung up within a minute. I trying to call back, yes there was no answer and no response to call back my number. I search and reach out to different practice, while we new to them but got treated more like humanity and care. Yes, they took us in care today thanks goodness. Hope the manager or management could look into training people at least your business is for people and to care for people.

Fantastic experience: I booked my whole family in for check ups (2 adults and 3 kids) last Saturday afternoon and what a fantastic experience it was. I have been putting off the dental appointments for a while now due to previous bad experiences with other dental places. I am so glad that we came here as everyone is so friendly, reassuring and explain everything to you. The dentist we had was lovely and very patient. The receptionist (I can’t remember her name but she was working on 25 March) was helpful and extremely friendly. I don’t usually do reviews but I am so happy to have found our new family dentist. Definitely recommend Pacific Smiles Erina!!

Negative experience: Very interesting seeing caitilyn review, I went in to get my teeth cleaned I ended up paying $224 for X-rays, but no clean was done. I went home upset so my partner called to ask why I had paid $224 and no clean done hailey had said they don’t clean on the same day and because she was a new patient the X-rays needed doing.. I quizzed that she had come into get a clean and why wasn’t she told over the phone before arriving that she wouldn’t be getting a clean she advised they don’t do it on the same day the X-rays apparently showed 12 holes and 2 teeth needed removing which we have since gone to a different dentist and only 6 holes and one tooth needs removing from a different dentist and professional practise so this company has tried to over quote $4000 plus of work , hailey also agreed the new receptionist may need some more training and we agreed on a part refund from the $224 and when going in today she refused a refund and said it was all my fault, we quizzed that on the appointment it had said teeth clean but she had no answers to why it had not been done and why I wasn’t getting a refund now, the reception all started laughing and making faces, hailey said she was going to call security, This company rip you off and the reception need training and customer service skills, would not recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful dentist, been going here for years, everyone is very friendly, explain everything to you, very professional, run pretty well on time, maybe 10minutes late in general but not more than that (and considering I’m usually 5 minutes late it works out!). Negative experience: Booked online and received email confirmation of the booking. Received a text message which I had to reply yes to confirm that we will attend the booking. I replied yes. When I went to Pacific Smiles Erina I was informed that they have no record of the booking . I replies yes to a text message which they sent!

Negative experience: rudest most uneducated receptionists, the company has increased prices by $70 but can’t tell you why the inflation has happened so significantly I understand we are all impacted from Covid but this corporation has jumped on the bandwagon of inflation leaving there regular customers in the dark as there only concern is making more money and not the customers or there ridiculous reasons for jumping the prices up so high. Better off looking after your local dental clinics that actually care for the individual customer before these corporations are the only ones left and we are stuck with there horrendous prices.

Fantastic experience: The service provided was delivered with kind and care, from the front office, the Dentist and assistant. I want to specifically highlight the level of care that Dr. Maggie Ordonez provides. She always make sure that I was comfortable during treatments and explain in layman term of what's going to be performed, in effect reducing the anxiety level of sitting on the dentist patient chair. She is my family's preferred Dentist based on above and the fact that we don't have to dredge the routine cleaning and all the pain associated with it.

Fantastic experience: A few years ago, I moved from my previous dentist to Pacific Smiles Dental because they offered some no-gap services with my private health fund. Purely by chance (and perhaps a bit of luck), I was appointed to Dr. Serene Wijaithum, who I have seen quite a few times now. Today, I had a filling done by Dr. Serene, along with her dental assistant, Nikita. I have previously had quite a painful and traumatic filling procedure at another practice, so was quite anxious prior to my appointment. However, during the procedure, both Serene and Nikita were quick, efficient, communicated with me really well, and I didn’t feel a single thing - not even the anaesthetic needle. I just wanted to commend and thank them both, as I left feeling relaxed, totally pain-free, and confident that they had both done a wonderful job. Going to the dentist is no longer a dreaded experience, and I am incredibly grateful for that!

Fantastic experience: I’ve always been so nervous about visiting a dentist. I’ve had a dentist say “this is atrocious” to me when I went for a filling (back in Sydney) about 10 years ago and that experience has made me not want to see a dentist at all. Well I’ve had some more issues that have needed fixing and I must say, I’ve seen 2 dentists here at pacific smiles erina and they were SO friendly, kind, non judgemental, and very helpful and patient. I will recommend everyone I know to come here and also will be taking my children here from now on. Thank you very much Dr.Diego for my extraction and filling I had done 2 days ago. Thank you for your great work and for being a professional. And thank you also to the lovely dental nurse, she was great.

I was in a lot of pain and did not expect to get an appointment on a Sunday at such short notice but the receptionist was so lovely and helped me get an appointment. The BEST experience I have ever had at a dentist. From the warm, friendly welcome to the knowledge and care from Tegan, I can not fault your practice. Fantastic experience: Only have good things to say about the nice folks at Pacific Smiles Dental, Erina. The visit happened in Mid August 2020 and it was for my elderly dad who had complained of toothache. Since he could not go to his usual Dentist due to the state border closure I got an appointment at Pacific Smiles Dental, Erina. Have to say that booking process online was hassle free. Staff at reception was friendly and with COVID safe procedures in place we had to follow few additional protocols but it was a smooth experience. Kudos to Dr Jan De Villiers who was very kind and patient. My Dad is hard of hearing and Dr Jan not only picked this up, he was very kind and gentle through out the process. Explained everystep in detail all the way through. He would explain what has happened, what our options are and what his opinion is, would wait for me to communicate that to my Dad and then wait for approval. I just have to say big thanks to you for not only the treatment but making complete process so easy with clear options and their benefits identified. Kudos to the lady whos name I did not get who was supporting Dr Jan on the day and was equally patient and understanding. My Dad was happy with the experience, and this does not stop here, we even received a call later to check on welfare of my Dad. Once again guys, Thank you, you are doing an amazing job! :)

Negative experience: I clearly have a abscess in the space between my gum and tooth dentist told me it's only inflammation, would not listen to me, got home my abscess burst n discharged, also told me the tenderness in my jaw to my lymph node wasn't related to this... $200 later, not very impressed for my first visit there, pity they were the only place open after 1pm on a Saturday.

Negative experience: No post extraction duty of care, the receptionist decides what’s urgent or not and puts everyone in the “ normal” category. I only went there because it was urgent in the first place, had to get sons dentist to spare a few minutes to check on my healing. I wasn’t given any scripts for pain relief nor antibiotics. Never return here again. Sticking to my dentist in Sydney, long way to travel but unbelievable service.

Negative experience: Every time I come to this dentist they tell me they are running 10 minutes late and I end up having to wait an hour. Lost my respect and I am not coming back ever again. This is ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: I visited this practice being one of only a few that set up emergency time-slots each and every day of the week. Multiple, side-by-side wisdom extractions, I was dreading the pain to come. The Dentist (Dr Villiers) was knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. He even recommended cheaper alternatives at other practices to help save me money, among health fund alternatives. The Assistant was actively helpful, ensuring my comfort at every stage. The Receptionist was very kind, providing loads of additional information upon leaving. I think they also offer AfterPay. My teeth were done perfectly, the Dentist spent extra time adding stitches to 'be sure his work is as best as possible', which meant a lot to me considering I didn't even ask. Been to over 8 practices as a local over the years. Only wish we found them sooner! Clean, hygienic, kind. Keep up the great work :)

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for 2.5 years, decided on getting invisalign's, the results are great, the attention and due care is excellent, and they have been really accommodating to every schedule/re-schedule because I travel to Sydney during the working week. The team have stayed back on several occasions to make sure they saw me. They really have gone out of there way to please there clients.

Negative experience: No “Duty of Care” required by NSW law will be given to patients if you have an outstanding balance on your account. My partner was experiencing ongoing pain and had visible swelling from infection both inside his mouth and outside however, the manager of this clinic refused a follow up consultation as there was still money owed. We paid $1800 previously but still had $600 owing. 3 days after treatment, the pain was increasing and ongoing so I made an appointment but on arrival the manager not only refused to let him see a dental practitioner but also attempted to deny him a medical certificate for the day he received treatment. After working in the health industry for 10 years I am absolutely disgusted that anyone would do this to someone and can honestly say that I have been to many practices who are happy to let you pay off your account. The lack of care and empathy shown by this manager does not meet the expectations held from a clinic that advertises “emergency” dental on their website......in which she also denied when mentioned!!

Fantastic experience: My family and I are long term clients (5+ years) and we have had no issues with either the support staff of the various dentists that have attended to us.

Negative experience: My experience at the center was itself okay. But they did services for me that was not indicated ( can say as I am a medical doctor and is able to make informed decisions).Though I said I didnt want an extra xrays other than the one I had as he was refering me to the oral surgeon anyway. They got claims of my private health insurance which left me with very little to claim for the oral surgery which I finally had. Ripped off my benefits from my private health fund.

Fantastic experience: my better half had a severe tooth ache and couldn't wait for her usual dentist - rang around locally all full - range Erina - what a professional approach - Sally the receptionist couldn't be more helpful and thought ahead to ensure proper medication was taken before the appointment - well done everyone and the dentist despite her youthful appearance was top class
