Fantastic experience: Amazing dentists!!! so great with children they make them feel comfortable about going to see the dentist

Negative experience: Not happy with service done at this facility, i went in for check up and they found 1 cavity and did a filling which gave me terrible toothache, i went to a different dentist 1 week later an on the xray it showed that they didn’t remove all of the cavity. Waste of money

Fantastic experience: The staff here were awesome. Very friendly and professional. It was my first visit to Pacific Smiles Dental Coomera on Friday and I'm happy to say that I'm going back in a few months to get a teeth whitening kit made for myself. I highly recommend them. I was in and out in 30 minutes.

Fantastic experience: I very much don't like having dentist work done in general, but Dr Kayala is very good and makes it easier. She's happy to explain things, helped me get comfortable with what was to be done, and does good work.

Negative experience: My wife had a deeply distressing and traumatic experience at Pacific Smiles Coomera, specifically with Dr Selvarajan, whose behaviour was unprofessional, aggressive, and completely lacking in empathy. From the moment the appointment began, Dr Selvarajan was rude, hostile, and intimidating. My wife was in severe dental pain, but instead of being treated with care and compassion, she was shouted at repeatedly — with the door left open for others to hear. When my wife needed to spit during the procedure, she was harshly told to "just swallow it," which was both unsanitary and degrading. Immediately after administering the anaesthetic, Dr Selvarajan tried to proceed with the extraction. My wife said she wasn’t numb yet, but was rudely cut off and ignored. It only got worse from there. During the extraction, Dr Selvarajan cut into my wife’s gum and inserted stitches while continuing to shout and intimidate her. At one point, despite my wife’s mouth being clearly open, the dentist barked, “If you don’t open your mouth, I won’t do it!” — a false and threatening statement that added further stress to an already painful experience. There was no compassion, no patience, and absolutely no regard for the emotional or physical wellbeing of the patient. My wife left the clinic in tears, traumatised and afraid to ever return to a dentist again. This is not acceptable. Dr Selvarajan’s behaviour must be reviewed immediately. We will never return to Pacific Smiles Coomera and strongly warn others — especially anxious or vulnerable patients — to exercise extreme caution.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bindu Kayala is an excellent dentist—thorough, kind, and patient. She takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes sure you're comfortable throughout. Her dental assistant is also fantastic. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I recently took my 6 year old son to Dr. Bindu for his first tooth removal, and I can’t say enough about how wonderful the experience was! Dr. Bindu’s professionalism and warmth immediately put us at ease. She has an incredible way with children, taking the time to talk to my son, explain everything in a gentle and friendly manner, and provide constant reassurance. Her calm and confident demeanor made the entire process stress-free for both of us. My son didn’t even realise when the tooth was pulled that’s how smooth and quick it was! The office was welcoming, clean, and child-friendly, which added to the positive experience. Dr. Bindu truly went above and beyond, and I highly recommend her to any parent looking for a compassionate and skilled dentist for their child. Thank you, Dr. Bindu, for making this milestone so comfortable and memorable for my son!

Fantastic experience: What can i say. From the time the lovely front desk lady called to advise me regarding my urgent booking for a broken tooth this weekend and was able to fit me in a day early. As a very anxious person going to the dentist let alone a new one especially with an emergency i was feeling very unsettled. Dr Renita Lopez was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I was caller in until the end was wonderful. She was so kind and caring. She put on music to help calm my nervous and talked me through the whole process. I've never felt so comfortable in such a quick amount of time. I felt so comfortable I have booked my check up and clean and will be seeingDr Renita Lopez from now on. Her assistant was very lovely as well. On exiting the lovely lady at the desk asked how I went and my experience and it just felt like an overall really caring and lovely place. Thank you for my first amazing experience and I can't wait to be back again soon.

Negative experience: Couldn't even be bothered to take a 2 second look at a 6yo child's tooth to see if it was suitable to come out even though not a single patient in the practice at all. All we asked was to take a look as the tooth was damaged when he was put into a coma last year. Terrible service

Fantastic experience: Great experience, hate the dentist but they made it super easy, doc communicated through the whole procedure so I knew exactly what was going on. Receptionist was lovely and very helpful. Will be back for more work soon. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: My partner came in for root canal treatment. Was told $1300 for 1 root canal done or $1500 for 2. When paying, an extra $250+ was added for the filling and told to come back for a crown for another $1500. Although the dentist herself was lovely and professional, they are not upfront with their prices and it makes it seem like there are hidden costs. Would suggest asking for a full price breakdown before booking at this practice.

Positive experience: call you constantly to confirm your appointment days before, even though you have replied to the text and if you do not answer to confirm they cancel it.

Negative experience: The dentist who checked my son's teeth, seemed very annoyed that my son wasn't listening to her regarding an xray. It's his 1st time and he didn't want to bite down on the metal thing. She got really annoyed and then said "just follow my guidelines I know what I'm doing" ok he's 6 she has broken English and he doesn't know what guidelines mean. He had 6 teeth with holes in them. I feel really bad for him. Anyhow she wanted an xray . Got the pics they weren't very good. She cleaned his teeth so quickly then said to me. He needs to see a pediatric dentist. Because she can't help him. Tells me she'll write a referral. I said I can't afford much and she disregarded anything I said. The referral was ridiculous it said "Multiple decays and patient doesn't like sitting in the chair" What the hell sort of a referral is that. Not a pleasant experience and my son is traumatized by it. Not recommended for 1st time visit to the dentist. Maybe it was just this 1 lady. But no way wouldn't recommend.

Negative experience: Reception was unable to complete a simple task, said there was no one around that could help, and that it was their first day so they don’t know how to do that, why that is even communicated is so unprofessional … rude and incompetent.

Fantastic experience: Had an excellent and educational dental experience with Dr Ethan. Had root canal treatment with him. He made the effort to work with me teaching me the issues and why I require a root canal. It helps me and takes my mind off the pain. After the treatment, he offered me lessons to treat my teeth to avoid another root canal. His devotion to helping me ensures me to understand the cause to teeth care.

Fantastic experience: I went to visit Pacific Smiles Dental for an initial check up and clean, despite the few negative reviews. I visited Dr Jennifer Jung, my experience was rather good. Dr Jennifer was very accommodating, she was also very gentle and was reassuring when explaining treatment.

Fantastic experience: The Denist that looked after me, knew her stuff. After X-rays, she knew exactly what I needed done, also gave me a quote before she began treatment. I was treated very kindly by both the dentist and her assistant I would highly recommend Pacific Smiles COOMERA :)

Negative experience: Do not recommend this dentist at all. I went to have a tooth extracted as I was in a lot of pain, however the dentist refused to pull as I was pregnant (very odd as having a tooth extracted whilst pregnant is completely safe), instead suggesting I get stage 1 of a root canal done. Due to being in pain and just needing immediate relief I went ahead so I could leave with something done. I had triple checked with the dentist that I wouldn’t need to come back until after I had my baby to have any further work done and each time they assured me this was correct. Not even 2 weeks later I had experienced excruciating pain in the same tooth, I would say even worse pain then before I had any work done on it. $422 down the drain and I am having to get it extracted like I had clearly requested in the first place. So had they had just performed the work I requested I 1. Wouldn’t be down a silly amount of $$$ for something that didn’t work at all & 2. Would not be in pain yet again only weeks later. Absolute joke, will be telling all family and friends to steer very clear!!

I've always been quite nervous when going to the dentist but even to get teeth removed the dentist and reception staff were so welcoming and calm it made my procedure a lot better! Would definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: I have now been to Pacific Smiles Coomera twice. The first with my daughters, my eldest being ASD2 and had previously had a negative experience leaving her terrified of the dentist. I chatted with reception about this while making her appointment, and then with the dentist in the day. Everyone was incredibly kind and patient with my children, really taking the time to explain everything and checking in with them to make sure they were comfortable and felt safe. The service overall was exceptional. The second visit for myself, I called when my tooth broke and they were able to see me the next day in the morning. I’d had a previous bad experience and was very nervous about the appointment, and while I had a different dentist the service did not change. Dr Bindu and the dental assistant were kind, patient and kept checking in to make sure I was ok and I was pleasantly surprised how quickly the appointment was finished. We are really happy with the service we received and will continue to use Pacific smiles.

Negative experience: We all enrolled here as a family because it was a new practice. My son and myself saw a different dentist each with no issues. My husband unfortunately had to cancel on the day of his appointment due to a medical emergency at the hospital where he works and was unable to travel back from Brisbane in time to make the appointment. The practice manager/dental nurse Kylie was extremely rude when I called to cancel.My husband then called to speak to her because of the way she had spoken to me and she still had no compassion whatsoever. It was all about the money/business etc and gave no consideration what soever as to why he could not attend. We will no longer be attending this new practice.
